I'm not sure how effective it is in other parts of the world, but in New Mexico it has repeatedly reported low or medium low counts on days which were abnormally high. (I got conflicting reports, and could feel the stuffiness.) The interface is great, the app is very usable, but be advised that their reporting system may not be accurate for you.
Great app. I love that you can keep a diary journey, only downfalls are that you can't add your own notes/symptoms and you can't look back at what the report was for the days that you tracked your symptoms for. So it's almost a perfect app. If it had those options, it would be perfect.
Flip a coin as to when this app will actually work. When it works, it's great, but you'll go weeks with the dumb service not find your city/zip rendering the app worthless. I've used it on 3 different phone models and all have the same behavior. Trash app.
Would like to see a paid version that eliminates ads, and keeps the diary feature on the phone, rather than on the website. Had it about a week and the info seems useful so far, but think it could be even better with some tweaks.
Fed up with the constant crashing. i decided to give this app another try after it kept crashing for some days in a row. it worked without crashing for like maybe a day or two now its doing it again. wish i could give zero stars. Im deleting this app and never re installing it again.
No way to see history in the app. Have to log into account online to view history. App could be improved by giving the ability to see history, add notes, check what home care is being used to minimize symptoms (ie what meds are used, loss of voice).
eh. iffy at best. I have several areas within 150 miles. (due to my work). i see differences in pollen levels at some areas. one area keeps telling me pollen is high for certain trees when there are no trees for many many miles. one town less than 100 miles away and the same environment as my home. (trees, grass and weeds) consistently shows lower levels of pollen. leads me to think we are pulling rabbits out of hats.
I like the easy to read breakdown for each day, however I would like the widget to have a transparent border/ background rather than the opaque dark grey. Additionally, I do not see the pics of each plant as shown in the app store. Please fix these, thanks.
Like others have said, used to really like this app and it worked well, but the last few days it stopped working, it cannot load any pollen information, keeps saying "try again later" (but nothing later either). Before that showed low pollen values when my allergies said otherwise.
They insist that their weather information comes from NOAA. the only way that can be true is if they have their map very generalized. I have the official NOAA app on my phone. The current weather and the forecast is not even similar. Today it says 1% chance of precipitation. the NOAA app says 66%, and it has been raining all day. As for the pollen... I'm hopeful, but doubtful.
Love the app, but no pictures. It had them at one point, then one day they disappeared. I like seeing the photos to learn better about the plants that make me sneeze.
I used to really like this app. Since the Covid pandemic, I feel that this app has missed the accuracy for many months. I've had this app for years and I have never seen this before. Just wish we knew why it's changed so much. If I'm wrong, I apologize, but it just doesn't seem to be the same as it was. Watch the prediction and see how far it is almost every day.
Either a recent update or new owners have completely messed this app up! It doesn't work at all. It says it will not work outside of the USA. Great! I am in the Middle of the Continetal United States of America soooo WHY AREN'T YOU WORKING APP???
Good, but simplistic. I wish this showed at least 1 day of history. I have GI symptoms with an 18 hour delay from airborne allergens, but I can't see even 1 day in the past.
The app no longer let's you open up future days. It gives you a five day forecast but you can no longer click and open future days. I uninstalled it because of it
Always shows less pollen than every other app I have. Never accurate, when it says I shouldn't be affected, I'm miserable...seems to always say things are low. Not helpful is showing WHAT pollen is predominate.
I downloaded this app about a month ago and despite the forecast the current day ALWAYS shows at .8 despite what I find at other sources. I have no idea if the forecasts are actually accurate.
I really wanted to love this. I have serious allergies and I love having the widget right on my home screen. But the app is a pain. It won't let me login. I can login on the website, but the app says it's invalid. I tried resetting my password in the app. After inputting my email to reset I get the error "There was a problem...". Yeah, no kidding. While I can see the pollen rating for the day with the widget, the rest of the app is useless.
