Allergy Force

The app allows users to easily scan or search for food ingredients lists for allergens while food shopping.  It will notify users when their EPI pen is close to expiring by email and on the app itself. If users ingest an allergen the app offers a quick access reaction/response guide to help users quickly decide action steps. The guide can be customized with doctors' comments.  For serious emergencies, the app provides a 911 call button that connects users to emergency services (where available), and displays their emergency contact list. A checkbox diary is provided to help users easily keep track of  allergic reactions and store their reaction history. Users can also take advantage of the restaurant explanation feature to clearly explain their allergies to restaurants in writing by text or email. The explanation can be translated into 10 different languages! Food allergy news and recall headlines are provided to keep users up to date on product recalls and other critical, potentially life threatening, food allergy hazards. Finally, the app offers  community features, like messaging, forums and groups, that users can use to build networks of friends and acquaintances who live safely and fully with food allergies.

Very limited if not member. I want to know how good the barcode scanner is, so I can check quickly for my kids food allergies but it needs me to upgrade acct first. I don't mind to pay but.. I Wish it had a trial period first so I can see if this is what I wanted. Imagine I have to pay for 1 month for each app to test it out. That would cost a lot.

I have a flyer from allergy force that I got at 'free from allergy expo'. the flyer indicates there is a free version...however after creating my account I was given the choice of monthly subscription for 1.99 a month or 19.99 for a years subscription. very disappointed and wont be using or promoting this app to others

There was no indication this would cost $19.95 per month. And fix the birth date field on the sign up page. I'm quite annoyed after spending 10 mins to get that field to work only to find out you want $240 per year to use it. Uninstalled.

Great app at $1.99 a month. Rebecca Stamm is NOT correct. The app does NOT cost $19.99 a month . That is incorrect. Allergy Force app cost is $1.99 per month . Rather than pay monthly you can also pay a one time amount of $19.99 to get a full year access. That one time $19.99 is equal to $1.67 per month. Either monthly or annually it is a bargain for an app with so many features. I see how she could think it cost a lot more.
