RequirementsAlliant Mobile Banking works with devices using Version – iOS – 9.0 & 10.0 & Android – 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0.

Transfer Limits
• Checking accounts: There are no limits on the number of transfers you can make in a calendar month.
• Savings accounts: You can make up to six total transfers to another account or a third party in a calendar month per federal regulations. We may refuse or reverse a transfer that exceeds these limits; we may also assess fees, suspend or close your account.

SecurityAll transactional data is encrypted and no sensitive account information is stored on your mobile device.

Permissions
• Location permissions are needed to determine your location in order to find ATMs.
• Camera permissions are needed to deposit checks.

DisclosuresDeposit limits and other restrictions apply. Alliant’s Mobile Check Deposit Service is subject to eligibility. Some features are available for eligible members and accounts only. There is no charge from Alliant to use the mobile app, but message and data rates may apply.

Surcharge-free ATMs include: Alliant-owned ATMs and ATMs that are part of the Alliance One, Allpoint, CO-OP Network, Credit Union 24, CU Here and Publix Presto networks. Transactions performed at other ATMs may be subject to the ATM owner’s surcharge fee. Not all ATMs accept deposits.

All deposits are subject to the Alliant Credit Union’s Funds Availability Policy. Refer to Alliant’s Account Agreement and Disclosures for more information. Please retain your check for 90 days before destroying.

App needs a little work, but overall it works well. It's very frustrating to have to enter a one time security code for every single login... As if I wasn't using the very device to which the code was sent. The desktop site doesn't have this problem and remembers the device correctly. Alliant itself is great! Glad they fixed the recent payment issue.

The developers responded quickly when I expressed frustration that my new Galaxy S22 Ultra was not supported by the app. My only real complaint, and it's not unique to the app, is that our passwords can't include most special characters. It's difficult for me to remember my password as there are a few special characters that I use that aren't allowed in Alliant passwords. Overall, the app does what I need it to.

In the 3 years I have had this app, I've only had an issue once. One can do everything with this app. I use a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge with the latest Android software and it's been a good experience for me. I highly recommend using this app. 04/06/2022 update: I'm now using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I had to download this app to my new phone. It was seamless and haven't had any issues from the switchover. Still highly recommended!

Can't make a deposit; can't do anything. Used to have no problem. This has been going on for several weeks, getting error messages that I couldn't connect to Alliant, to check my connection. Connection is fine and strong, but app still doesn't work. (I even updated the app.) (member since 1996? UALECU)

This app has no notification for payments that are due. I manage several bank accounts and credit cards without a glitch. All of these accounts and cards notify me with statements and upcoming payments. I asked for a way to set up notifications and was told not included in the app. It would have helped a lot to know that this app must be checked regularly. I wasted a lot of time and now late fees on a bank that has unbelievably bad basic service.

App used to work great. Now every time I log in, it says update required and lets me do nothing. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app from the play store. Keeps insisting I need to update the app in order to use it.

App on my device is prompting for a "required update", and clicking update takes me to Google Play...where there is no update available. Clicking close logs me out. I can't use the mobile banking app at all.

My account went negative 2 or 3 times for very low amount. Under $100. Now they wanna hold my checks for over 2 weeks. Do not bank with them. Go to regular bank. Will not recommend.

Loved the app on my old phone. Got the new galaxy 22 ultra and didn't realize there are apparent issues with the app and this phone! It crashes, won't load, can't use the app. This is not helpful at all and now trying to figure out how I'm supposed to make deposits to my account. Looks like it's been an issue for a while, why hasn't this been resolved yet

Awesome overall. The only minor annoyance is that external apps still cannot use Plaid to link to Alliant Credit Union. Otherwise I'm very happy with the app, website, and credit union!

Best mobile banking experience I've had. Everything works very smoothly, and customer support is great as well. Only improvement to suggest is allowing scheduling recurring payments from the app. You currently have to use the desktop website for this.

Update: got a new phone, Galaxy S22. Cant use the Alliant app. Doesnt work yet. App only crashes. Please fix! Original review: Can't mobile deposit, which to me is a necessary item in a banking app. I've upgraded to the latest version. Phone is a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. Try to do a mobile deposit about every 6 months and have yet to be successful. Disappointing.
