If your family has more than one device, Allowance & Chores Bot will automatically keep your whole family’s allowances and chores in sync. Unlike other allowance and chore apps, Allowance & Chores Bot does not require any third-party service or special setup to sync all your family’s devices. Allowance & Chores Bot does this automatically.
With Allowance & Chores Bot you can create a daily, weekly, or monthly allowance for each child. Each child can have their own rate of periodic allowance, or you can give them allowance payments based on the completion of chores, or a mixture of both.
Each chore can be a one time chore, or repeated on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. Each chore can be configured so completion is required for the child’s periodic allowance, or the chore can be configured as an extra reward in addition to their allowance.
With Allowance & Chores Bot, you can approve or unapprove all allowance and chore payments for up to 30 days.
Kids see how much they have saved and when and how much they’ve spent. They can watch their allowance savings grow with the Allowance Graph and see how much savings they'll have in the future. Kids can see what chores need to be done and check them off when completed. Kids can receive chore reminders without having to open the app.

It's simple enough to use, but there are very few options available in the free version. Not worth it unless you're willing to pay.
Game changer! It's the only app I've found with the exact capabilities I need.
I've never written a review for an app before. This app is worth paying $ for and it's so simple to use. The best part is my kids who I struggled to get to do chores, have done almost a 180 and now do the chores (mostly) without me asking/nagging them. They know exactly what they need to do and when it needs to be done by. Love the up for grabs option...makes it a little competitive which imo isn't a bad thing! There are some additions I would like to see, but as is...it's fantastic! Thank you!!
Our previous chore app we used doesn't seem to exist anymore, so we decided to try this one. Admittedly, the robot cartoon was what caught my son's eye. After looking through it, decided to give it a go. You almost HAVE to get the subscription to be able to anything useful. We went ahead and did the year. Takes some getting used to navigating the options, and it seems like too many clicks to get through certain things. Looking forward to the updates. Would like to see a "shared" chore option.
This app is amazing! We opted for the full version & don't regret it. The only thing that swayed a 3 star vs 5 star rating is the limited platforms. It's not available on a PC or on a Kindle Fire, so my kids have to use my cell phone in order to do their chores - which means I have to be home for them to be motivated. This REALLY needs more platform versatility. There is also not a way to add a 2nd parent, which seems like a pretty basic feature. Savings bucket & goals would be nice as well.
I love this app, it's a great way to assign chores toy kids and keep them accountable, as well as engaged since they see what they are earning and rewards. I would love if there was a desktop version, so it's easier and faster to input chores and edit. I like that you can add photos of chores, making it more visual and that you canakw it as simple or as detailed each chore, with schedule and all. Thanks, great job!
We love this app. Animation is fun but not too babyish for our 11 year old. Simple, straightforward interface. Options for withholding allowance, making deductions or deposits, regular chores as well as one-offs. It's on both parent 's phones and easy to access for all of us. If you have more than one child you can set up passwords for each. And the customer service is great, if you need it, thanks Hans!
Great app! I love the ease of making chore assignments and being able to alternate those between kids. If I could make it better, I would add the option on the up for grabs chores to allow those to show up everyday and snooze after completion until needed again, say monthly or so. The problem with the current setting if the chore is set up for monthly, it only shows up that one day whether completed or not. Or have a separate tab for the up for grabs chores so they are not on the required list.
Lots of options for chore scheduling, rotating chores, multiple kiddos, and many ways to edit, add and postpone. Because of all the options it can be confusing for some but after a bit it becomes easier. Without all the options some complex multi-kid setups would not be possible...so the customization is a GOOD thing and makes the $3/month worth it where free apps dont allow this level of setup. Single kid familes with simple, no-check needs... this app may be overkill.
A great little app to get your children enthusiastic, as well as learning the basic principals behind responsibility, reward and saving. Easy to navigate and set up this is just what I needed for my 8 year old son. *Any negatives?? Not yet that I've seen. Any improvements? Could do with custom-made themes and a dark mode. Also an alarm feature to alert the child to upcoming chores. A backup feature to save the chores to cloud in the event of device failure? Customize robot and stickers too!
The app works great, the style and organization is wonderful. We all love the app, except there isn't a place for rewards. The kids liked seeing the rewards they were working towards, not just a dollar amount. Also it would be nice if the parents could have separate profiles. Other than that I would have given 5 stars all the way! Also we haven't experienced any bugs or glitches like we have with other chore apps. Ex. Assigned chores disappearing, or showing on the wrong dates etc.
About to be done with this app. It basically forces you into a subscription, which I dislike, but can live with. Or I could, except the app o nly works if you can connect to the server, and my wife and I are constantly getting server errors. I reached out to the dev, and the response I got was that I should make sure the app is updated, and then restart it. Which we do, but this app still gives us consistent problems after several months of use. Other than that though, I like the app.
I downloaded, & created an account. It started listing tips and tricks. I tried to hit next, to go to the next screen and my phone froze completely ( this has never happened). After I straightened that out, I went back on and wasnt even able to add a child. I deleted the app. Haven't had any further issues with my phone so I'm assuming it was this app that caused the problem.
Purchased this app and it worked great with my kids. However, I cleaned up apps on my phone before going overseas and then tried to redownload it and it won't open on my Samsung S8+. I contacted customer support and they told me just to get a refund from Google. Google won't give me a refund. So, I waited a few weeks to see if the bug is fixed and alas it is not. I LOVED this app, but I paid for it and now I can't use it, which is the worst!!
Have to set up an account to find out how much the subscription is. App looks cheep. When trying to email question from app asks if your email is correct but no indication email was sent. Edit: Nope no confirmation. Ok so it says in app products. 2.99 to 19.99. I am going to have to assume that for 19.99 a month u get all the items and for 2.99 only some of them. So 19.99 is touch a month for a chors app. Thank you for clarifying.
Highly recommended. You can assign chores for any day, select avatars, set goals, give an allowance, and you can check off everything. This app is recommended for any parents. The app will read the chores aloud and gives a visual of what your children have to do. There's cute animations aswell. Beautiful work. The coding, the graphics, and the detail is just amazing. Bravo!👏
Buggy. I just downloaded the app, created an account but couldn't add a child. Every time I tried to add a name, the app would send me back to the home screen. I logged out and back in and was able to add a child name but now it's doing the same thing when trying to name a chore. Signing out doesn't work to fix it like before. Really wanted to give this app a go but considering I can't get beyond creating a parent account there's no way I am going to buy the subscription. I installed the app, set up a few chores and went for the free trial option. The next time I opened the app it didn't work, I kept closing it and reopening it, I uninstall and reinstalled it and it wouldn't open. Pretty annoying waste of time.
Amazing! never glitches, plus, is perfect for those who have a hard time remembering what they did, and what to do, plus it has no adds! But it does not work as well with no Wifi.😞 The only thing I would change is that it doesn't need Wifi. Otherwise it is perfect! Get this app!!!😄
Great app. Very clear, user friendly and fun interface for the kids. I would give 5 stars if they had just a few more features for free than what they currently offer. Twice I wanted to use an available feature, only to find out it is part of the subscription. The 2 features I was interested in weren't anything special, which is why I thought it silly to not include them in the free version.
I really love this app. I am homeschooling my children and am currently using this app for our daily schedules, AND daily chores. it helps them WANT to complete school. We use the allowance money on the app to purchase things such as special free time activies. we love that there is a speaker/read to me option. I have one child with dyslexia and trouble reading. our only complaint in using the paid for edition is that the speach is too fast. It's hard to understand. wish I edit the speed
Another subscription scam app. These apps should be a one time payment but instead they try to squeeze hundreds of dollars out of you hoping you forget to unsubscribe by the end of the year even if you're not using it anymore.
