Awful app. We tried placing an order, the app said payment didn't go through. Tried a different card and it said the same thing. Checked my credit cards and I was charged for both attempts (yet no order was placed by Allset). Allset's customer support has really long wait times and I've had no luck getting them to help. Thankfully, my credit card company reversed the charges. Idk if this was a technical issue or if they're running a scam, but def never using them again.
Good app overall. Like the discounts that they provide. They send a $3-5 off coupon pretty often. They don't have many restaurants on it yet. But hopefully that'll change over time. The app is buggy though. It crashes sometimes. Especially after you order, the screen doesn't refresh and hangs. You have to kill it and restart the app to go the order status page.
great app. really easy to use and delivers what it promises. My time using the app has been very smooth and their customer service is one of, if not, the best customer service I have ever encountered. The app doesn't have many restaurants near where I live in Brooklyn, which means I have to travel further but hopefully as it grows, they will add more restaurant near me. beside that, great app and would 100 percent recommend it.
Very frustrating and buggy app. Even if your meal is completely free, they still require a card, which will probably never follow through with a charge. I used three different cards, all with more than enough money in each account, and they all got declined or i was giving some type of error message. The few times it said the charge went through, I'd call the restaurant, and hear that they never got my order. Another time, whent the order actually went through, the restaurant wasn't even open!
the apo is smooth. i do wish there were more spots in town to pick from, but it seems their list grows every few weeks. i have no clue how they're in business. i only use it to try new places that have a credit. but i hope everything works out for allset. i like skipping the lines and dealing with staff mostly. the trick is getting friends to join.
Unfortunately, the participating restaurants are on the borderline of being in the fast food industry. The quality restaurants in my metro area are not represented at all. Hopefully, with time they will be. The search function is buggy and restaurants within a 1-mile radius are shown under a broader search, but not under the local search. Interestingly, those that are 50 miles away come up as local. Great potential, but poor implementation.
This is the best app out there for ordering. I usually just pick up since i live near the restaurants. The customer service is top notch. The daily promos help alot. Plentiful selection of cafes and restaurants. Orders are always ready upon arrival. There is another app that is kinda similar but doesn't compare at all to Allset.
very, very buggy app. never lands on the home page when first opening up and a lot of back & forths and restarts. still a great app to use to order food
I'm sorry but I would never use this app again only because it took 45 minutes to load there was so many bugs and I spent a half hour on the phone with the gal to try to get into work and I had two or three employees trying to get it to work. Customer service was amazing. It is an APP issue. Buggy as ever. well they'll work out the bugs and time and I won't be around to see the end result moving on
The service itself is good, and the frequent promos are AWESOME - but the app is horrid. It crashes nearly every time I open it, doesn't save my reviews, and half the time doesn't send my initial order to the restaurant but crashes instead. App improvements would go a long way here!
Good app. Deals come out frequently. Definitely geared more towards mid price range restaurants, but it has a few cheap restaurants to keep your bottom line low. If you are planning to eat anywhere from near south loop to Northside then this app has options for you. Not every restaurant on here is top level quality so make sure to double check with yelp or Google reviews.
The Android app so far has been intuitive and easy to use. I appreciate the list and map view options with the default sorting as the restaurants closest to me. Discoverability is also good! The bottom tabbed navigator makes it easy to switch to my profile and order history.
Menus for restaurants missing large amounts of items that they sell, the fees are higher than other companies (GrubHub, Seamless, DoorDash, and even higher than UberEATS, which is usually the highest one out there.) The "deals" they have don't even cover the difference in service charges over the other apps, and the businesses I ordered through Allset told me that Allset charged them more than other apps did as well, so they are gouging the customer *and* the restaurant. Awful.
This app is great. I order lunch from nearby restaurants and it's ready for pickup when I get there. They also always give out a few bucks credit every week or so. Not sure how this business model will work long term as I barely pay anything everytime I order but for now I'm happy
Okay, ya'll, I have two warnings for you--the app lures you in with a bunch of free money ($20 off in some cases) but it's only when you get into an order that you realize you can on spend $10 of that on any order. I thought that was pretty deceiving. The second thing to keep an eye out for--and this is an important thing for first time users--the app only tells you what time to be at the restaurant after you have ordered. Not the app for me.
The new app looks nice but Allset needs better software architecture. It keeps kick me out as soon as I place an order. I need to log in back again. The error is "Requires authentication:1001". Developers may need to double-check what they do. I'd like to escalate this issue to software development department. I may get contact to provide more information about the issue.
This app has a big bug, which hugely impact the business grow -- The app doesn't list all the nearby restaurants. It only lists 3 nearby restaurants each time, all other restaurants are too far away. Open the app again, it shows another 3 nearby. The tech team wipe out all other people's effort to grow business at Allset. I don't remember how many times I want to use Allset, but the app only shows me 3 nearby restaurants that I don't want to go. You lost from me at least few hundred dollars business alone. BTW, I'm in San Francisco downtown.
Convenient to use, has good use of text and app notifications, and the UX is clean, i haven't run into any snags. Quite pleasant to use, though it could use more variety of restaurants. That will come with time though.
best food app ever. The customer service is excellent. They immediately sent me a message letting me know that the restaurant I had ordered from did no longer have an item. They happily refunded the item. They were so nice! app is also really easy to use. It has never given me any problem!
It really takes the stress out of ordering over the phone, especially for groups. It's nice to be able to order on the way to the restaurant and have your food served much quicker than usual. Also, the frequent promotions and discounts are GREAT value
The app works fine. We need to update the list of restaurants because the restaurant i just tried was a bit far. I know there are more restaurants closer to my house. Walking distance meaning less than two miles.
Initially set up with google number but it says I can not use virtual number. So I changed to my cellphone. Still giving me error everytime I try to add promo. And then it emails me about my account being banned and warning about charging 10 dollars. You have a bug on your system. And why even try to charge 10bucks when its error on your side. Why not think that it's something that can be wrong on your side? Edit to 3star. The response team did their best to fix for me.Still needs to fix the bug
Easy to use app, and great promos that occur pretty frequently. I'm generally satisfied with the current restaurant options in my area, but hopefully there will be more options added later.
Allset is a nice and convenient way to get your lunch on the go. It saves you time and frequent coupon offers save you money as well. If you hate lines, then this is surely your jam!
Deals are FREQUENT. Usually $5 off max though, which is annoying if you have say, $30-50 of promotional credit in your account. In NYC, the options are often lower quality establishments, including bodegas and cafes with hot food buffets (that always run out of the particular buffet item you preordered, leaving you to substitute IN-STORE)! Also often times such places do not list every menu item (which may rotate daily). Soups especially are problematic to order. And some close early as 2:30pm
