This app is terrible. Laggy at the best of times, but, lately, most of the time it just straight up doesn't work - it just spins. Constantly getting the 'this app isn't responding' message. It often times out and kicks me back to the login screen. I can almost never see my trips and if I do manage to get to that page, if I change a trip from driver to passenger, the change never seems to stick. This app is completely unreliable. (And yes, I have the most recent version of the app and my OS.)

Im having a hard time with this app. It has recorded several phone calls made, however, it doesnt state that i was parked. In fact i was sitting in my house talking to my agent and the device recorded that as a call. I have no idea if its on or off. Ive always pulled over to make my calls however the app does or shows no distinction. It showed a parking que once but never again. I can never pull all trips up either. This app needs some clarifications and a stop trip button to end a trip.

Upgraded from 1 to 3 stars. Runs much faster and easier to navigate since my last review. If I could make any suggestion, it's to have a way to set schedules when Drivewise is active. I work a set time frame 5 days a week. And have to go into the app to disable it each morning is just annoying. And if I forget to I have to go in and adjust each trip to me as a passenger. Just QoL things that can make it easier.

App is terribly slow and crashes. Drivewise records things like sudden breaking when there was none. Anytime I change a trip to passenger there's only a 50% chance it actually saves. I also made my 50 trips for the cycle and it didn't apply my discount. If you're going to base premiums off of something an app records, make sure that app actually works correctly!

Can not use rewards. Page won't come up. Shows sudden braking when it shouldn't. Loads very slow. Took along time to get it working again. Still problems and can't get help. Still having problems. They stopped responding. Been going on since 11/21. Horrible app and worse customer service.

I have been trying to install this app, it doesn't work. Allstate needs to go back to the physical device. How is this app better than the device? 6 months later, the app finally works, partially, all my trips are not recorded. Furthermore, I was not told I had to make 50 trips to receive the discount, so if all my trips are not recorded that means I won't get the Drivewise discount; maybe it's time for me to switch.

App is ok, except for the drivewise portion which records trips no matter wether you are driving, or a passenger, on a bus,train etc. and its up to you to go in and delete and explain every trip when you are not actually driving. like I need this job of deleting every trip when I am not driving. Way too much work and an invasion of privacy. I was not aware of this until I actually started using it. I had the plug in device for many years without issues. It actually only recorded the cars trips

I hate this app enough to change insurance companies. Its terrible. App used to be easy to use, but now is twitchy, super slow to response, freezes often and had to be shut down, and did i mention SLOW. New layout is terrible, hard to find some things, like detailed account data and payment history. They over-complicated what was easy. HOW can you see actual pending payments!!?? If you are not on autopay, you can easily accidentally make multiple payments as you can't see "pending payments".

App needs a better off switch. At work it starts checking for a drive when I'm on a forklift going 7 mph. Also, rather funny, I forgot to turn off the app when I was flying my airplane. It nailed me for going more than 80 mph. Seriously, I would like this app if I could pull down from the top of the phone and hit a pause button. ⏸️ update: the quickest way to turn off this app is to turn on airplane mode.

The drivewise portion is completely broken. It's always getting stuck "checking for a trip" which tanks battery life on my phone. I only do city driving and it logs a ton of 80+ mph trips which... um... no, do I really have to explain this? It just doesn't work. All permissions are granted, battery saver off, app is updated. Running on a galaxy s10+

The app keeps saying it has a bug every time I try to look at my Drivewise trips. My phone keeps closing it and saying not to use it until the app provides a fix for the bug. I have a brand new Samsung S22 with the latest software and the current version of the app.

0 if I could!!! Since the update as up 11/23/20 I can't use my fingerprint to sign in. It says failed every time. I have to type in my password that it only recongized as correct half the time and so when I try to change it. It states password in use. Get it together. This is been going on for 2 years now.

Continues to be a more bloated app with each update. Notifications should not be required as they are unnecessary and always ignored by me. Go back to what it was designed for, safe driving rewards. Trash the other stuff. Fix the battery hogging. App is way to "busy" for easy use. Points are useless. Prices listed are way in excess of regular retail after point credit discount. Alstate is getting to be a laughing stock with the trash they're pushing on this app.

Within a few days the app said I had accumulated a savings of $58. I was impressed. A few days later the app stated I needed to log a trip in order to start my savings process. After a month of driving it is as if I have never utilized the app. Now I just got a message to update the app because the version I just recently downloaded is no longer valid.

Crashes constanty, disrupts videos I'm taking to check for a trip. Randomly turns on. Drains battery. Tech support doesn't email back. I emailed 4/14 -as of 6/8 only a canned reply. App determines my discount, but it doesn't work most of the time. I installed the new update 3/14/22 & it's still terrible. If I didn't love my agent so much, I'd switch companies because of the app. Contacted the state to report this scam since Allstate is not fixing this problem and it determines the price you pay!

In my 20+ years of using apps, I am unable to recall a slower loading 'history'. The app itself is actually great and very helpful. It's only when trying to view prior driving history it becomes a 'dial-up' connection with literally minutes between loading information. Very frustrating.

Hate the app. Wanted to know what my next payment was... NOPE just says "it's scheduled" Great but how much and when. Worst insurance app I have ever had to deal with!! You have to call in and ask what your payment is and DON'T expect to pay the same thing each time cause it will change... Hate the app and when I have time will be changing insurance!!!
