New features for ALPA Members in this version include Document, Event and Update functionality for MECs and LECs as well as an area in the Safety portion for FT/DT resources.
NOTE: Newer versions of Android devices have been having issues getting to the extended menu which allows you to access other applications within the ALPA mobile suite. This functionality can be accessed by pressing and holding the “HOME” button on your Android device instead of just tapping that button to return to the home screen.

Why is there not an option for zero stars? This App is terrible. I have to start it twice every time I want to use it, first launch always crashes. Last night, I accidentally signed out of the App, and now it has almost zero functionality. When I try to sign back in, it crashes every time. It will not even bring up the login page. Pretty awesome we all pay dues to an association more concerned with public appearance, than internal usefulness.
Very little compatibility with android. Tried for 45mins to fill out a PDR and couldn't even get past the date menu. Just tried to install the update and it won't even install from Google play. Fail.
The app is unusable crashes every time you open it
Unable to log in. Credentials work on website but not on app.

Went to send a test DART and it's not even available on the app. Im signed in and the only 2 links active are KCM and jumpseat info. How can this basic of an app be so bad.
And a disgrace
Can't login due to update, keeps crashing.
A useful application, especially for finding KCM checkpoints and operational times, but it is a data hog. Even when I turn off the ability for it to use background data it still finds a way to use data at an alarming rate. It has used over 4GB of data in the last 3 weeks and I haven't even used the app! Every time you open the app, it automatically refreshes the news articles chewing up data. I have no idea what it uses background data for or why it uses so much.
Why do I have to login every time? Is it ALPA's way to make us remember our username and password? I don't need to be nannied that way, ALPA. This is my phone which I secure. Why is it that banks allow apps to memorize usernames and passwords, but ALPA doesn't? Get real...
Needs an option to disable notifications. Without this change I will probably delete
App is ok now that they fixed the menu issue.
You screwed up the program for android users on last release. The bottom bar that had alla and kcm and more / hotels and such is gone. Just a lousy news reader now. What exactly do my dues pay for exactly? A working functional app would be nice....
Update...I just got in touch with ALPA App & Web Development and got this recommendation - hold down, not just touch, the left button on your phone (I think it's the "home" key) and it will bring up the menu where you can find KCM, etc. It worked for me. I mainly use this app to find KCM info. Used to work fine on my old Motorola, but I can't find KCM info when I installed it on my new Samsung Galaxy S5.
The most useful part of the app (KCM) is completely inaccessible if your phone doesn't have a dedicated hardware menu button. My Galaxy S5 is an example of a phone with such a design, and it's the standard now. Get with the times ALPA!
It seems like mostly just a news feed. I'd rather it was designed to be useful to the member. The KCM, Jumpseat, Pilot Data Reporting system, etc. should be on the home screen, not news stories. Whoever commissioned the app to be written was clearly all about news, and not members.
Pretty much useless since the only thing visible is the news release bit. No KCM. Fail.
I saw a lot of reports about KCM not being there but it is still there under the menu. It would be nice to have it up front though.
The sub menus do not work for Android. That was the most important part.
I can't believe the kcm info is now missing. That was the only use I had for this app. Is the developer even passing attention? This has been an issue for months now.
Does not work, just a news reader, since i won't throw my phone in the trash, I'll just uninstall it.
I am a recent convert to Android from iOS. This app works flawlessly on iPhone with access to the full app. On Android, the app is stretched and only shows the newsfeed screen and doesn't allow access to the rest of the app. Please fix!!

Pointless app without KCM access... just a news fed app.
Where is the stuff we use every day, like the KCM list? The latest update is just a clipping service for news.
There's an issue with typing in the destination airport.. but this is an invaluable tool
