AlphaBetty Saga

Enjoy the game but I have two complaints. 1) If the game reaches a point where it has to reshuffle and simply cannot get a useable board, you get booted back to the map and lose a life. This was not my error, it's the game choosing to use poor tiles. 2) If you switch from the game to another app and come back, the game sometimes reboots and you lose the progress and your life. Not fun if you have to take a call! Otherwise, it's a fun game.

After playing AlphaBetty for a while, I believe that it's a four star, rather than a five star, game. It's still an interesting, fun, and challenging game, however there is no way to earn Gold Bars without having to purchase them. Gold Bars are used to buy certain boosters, or to extend your number of turns by five if needed at the end of a level. Making then hard to get would be fine, but requiring you to purchase them is shameless. Some levels are very difficult. I mave have to uninstall.

I love the variety of word games and the increasing challenges. It was a bit too easy at first and I still get through most on the first try, but then a real challenge grabs on and it may take a few tries to complete. Easy enough to be fun and hard enough to keep my interest. Never noticed any glitches or bugs...nothing worse than a game freezing up and this one hasn't disappointed. I love it

It is so refreshing to play a game that isn't laced with adverts! I'm at level 70+ and am not constantly bombarded by adverts, in fact, I've not seen one yet! The game! Exactly what I'd hoped for, hunt for words in the grid, bigger the word, bigger the reward/ benefit. Simple concept that is lost on most games these days. I don't need to kill # of zombies or score higher than @... I just want to get on with it, and this game let's me. Thank you.

Love this game! Several types of levels, never boring. Not overly difficult yet challenging. Doesn't get so hard I can no longer ever win (no fun), but instead adds new twists & ways of playing which require new strategies to learn, so still fun. Then they vary which challenge you get, which keeps it interesting. Even though I may take several tries to pass a level, I rarely run out of lives. Doesn't require in-app purchases to continue playing because you run out of something (yay!). A++!

Sometimes I find it very tough to get through the level and go ahead but I take challenge, try again and again and win. 356 level troubled me and took many number of times and the chances available were inadequate. It consumed much time. At the level of 376 I found it difficult to complete the level since the little number of moves available were suddenly reduced and hence took time to complete the level. At times it makes me much trouble to win a level. Once I clear it I don't feel problem.

The concept of the game is decent but it basically plays it for you, highlighting words one after another, with no option to disable the help in the settings, which there should be. I would hope these 'hints' would go away eventually but I'm not going to keep it on my device long enough to find out... I played several levels already, thinking they would have gone away by the second or third but they haven't, making the game so easy a five year old could easily beat it.

Great game but there are no chances to earn anything that will help you in the really difficult levels without making a purchase. You're given some freebies at the beginning but you only even win one hammer every so often which is frustrating. I'm going to have to uninstall/reinstall in order to be able to move beyond this very difficult level which is a shame. Otherwise its a very enjoyable game

Love this game. It is interesting, fun, keeps you thinking, and you're not bombarded with ads or pushed to buy things. The only issues are, using the extra power, it says 2 extra moves, and/or 2 blocks removed. It is always only 1. The second one is that there should be a way to earn gold bars. If you like word games, you'll like this game!

Fun game, but screen issues. I would of given 5 stars, as it's very fun. But the game screen is not formatted to fit my phones screen. The levels map is off to the side, so I can't choose the next levels. The levels goals are also off to the side, so I can't see them. The games screen is half blank. Fix these issues and I will change my rating.

The lower levels are fun and easy. When u start getting into the higher levels, the obstructions put into the game for challenge make it almost impossible to form nothing but 3 letter words. The game then stops being focused on making words and becomes focused on getting past obstructions. At that point I just lost interest

You'd better be good at spelling, grammar, math, and common sense if you wanna get high scores at this game, mostly knowing how to spell. If you're wrong in the spelling, it won't register, but at least it doesn't give you a time limit on that part. The longer you play it, the more fun it is; I don't think much of the music in this program, so I just turn off the sound and open up You Tube, shutting off the music, comments, voices, etc. Bioman out

I 💜 word games, especially ABS 🐭! It starts simply, but gets more difficult as your skills improve, so it's challenging w/o being too frustrating. Also, to address a common concern in casual, free-to-play games... Yes, of COURSE it has in-game microtransactions. HOWEVER, I don't mind too much as long as it's possible to progress w/o them. Well, SO FAR, I am on level 480 and have only used boosters I've WON playing or from sending/receiving buddy gifts. 👍 Also, the graphics are ADORABLE!

I enjoy the word challenges and do all I can to get the max of 3 stars for each game. That is the greatest challenge for me. Sometimes I go back to games with less than 3 stars and use my learnings from later games to boost my score to 3 stars. The graphics and characters for each game are tops. THE higher I go the harder is the challenge. Top game.

Despite thinking I'm never going to pass some of the levels, eventually I do and then I feel good and carry on. So yes 5 stars until I reach a level where I have to give up. EDIT: Finished all levels which then allows you to return to better your previous scores = good. However, you then lose your 'friends' so no longer have anyone to compete with = bad. Still worth 5 stars but no joy without competition.

Lots of fun! It's for people who like words and spelling, although the farther one progresses, strategy becomes more and more important. The direction the last letter of longer words is added determines the way that letter will shoot. Shooting is important in eliminating single-box letters, or in other hard-to-reach positions. Don't use your free helpers at first offer; save them for harder levels! Back out with your triangle and continue without using them, or the gold bars, until truly needed!

I've been trying to find this game for months-I just could not remember the name of it! Then yesterday, there it was. I downloaded it posthaste. The only thing different is the scoring-you used know to 'zactly how many points every word was worth, and now...you don't. It seems only approximate. I miss that. I'm into the upper 190's, and several levels dropped just STOOPID letters that only blocked progress. Yet, a game this pretty that'll help build my writing and spelling skills gets my vote.

very entertaining... however no"powers" even if you get through many level back to back... no incentives unless you purchase. no"rewards": for getting 3 starts consistently, no extra loves, etc etc like other King games. love this game but needs more to keep it from only getting harder and finally deleting game because sometimes the hammer and other power tools are necessary to get to the next level. again i love game intents but needs rewarding incentives for successful level achievements.

I like that the games change and not the same over and over. I don't like when some of the word games are extremely difficult such as finding words with letters 7 or higher. currently the game is frozen so I'm assuming that I will lose my games played everyday and have to start at zero again. I'm not even sure if you get anything for playing everyday

Nice intro to features and easy word-Smith challenges. As it gets harder with more barriers (mousetraps, vines and layouts) it requires more vocabulary and strategy. Then it gets to requiring a lucky set-up with few moves. I had one with 24 letters, 5 v's, 3 qu's and 2 z's. No fun if not remotely possible. Suggest a better letter algorithm reflecting English usage. Your new gifts for watching ads needs work. Gifts should carry over if not used.

I love it!!! It makes you think. Tech support is wonderful. BUT! I've reached such a high level, it's really starting to cost quite a bit of $$$, so I reduced my rating to 4. I love how challenging this game is, but since all I have is a disability check, I may have to start looking for other games. Ick. I don't want to. It truly is a great game! *After I updated my review, I reached Level 500. Thank you for the great reward! I really needed it! I could sure use more. Outta $$$ for the month.

I have restarted this game many times, it always reaches a point where nowhere near enough lives are given to get through a round. one time I kept trying for almost a year before finally uninstalling. I now try for an evening and if I can't get through uninstall. I am not wasting time on it. I am excellent with words so know it isn't me being stupid.

i absolutely LOVE this app! its so different to the usual word games! ive been playing hour after hour! its easy to play & so relaxing! After playing very often Im finding that there is no longer much challenge! i have been stuck on level ,59 for so long & have no idea how to get past this level! its do terribly frustrating & driving me crazy!!!! can snyone help PLEASE!!!¡!!

I've always loved the King games, but I'm very frustrated and disappointed now. Ive been stuck at a level that i won and it won't go or show level after #920. i have updated, uninstalled/reinstalled, played the last game over again and won. Nothing changes. I have put in a request for help twice and I get an automated email that tells me to go to a blog or YouTube for help from other players. King should be helping customers not passing problems off to other players!

This is one of the best word games out there. It is a shame it is going away. I will miss you. I'm on my 3rd time though playing it. It hasn't gotten old and is still challenging me. Thanks for such an awesome game. I love game where you have to create words from the letters available and either adjacent to or not both have their own challenges. Hope you make another similar game or someone does. This was a great one and I'm gonna really miss it.

This is a really fun game. I really enjoy playing it. I have been playing it for 3years. I'm on level 771. It needs more explanations though. and when it keeps suffling the letters and gives up it shouldn't take your crowns or whatever that you have from the spin the wheel thing. Also you cant use the blank tile with a word that has the QU tile.

it's hard to find real quality word games. AlphaBetty saga is the best, my favorite word game, (challenging enough to keep you employing creativity in the use of various four letter words when you almost win a round.) I've actually completed all the available rounds for the game, so I've been going back to the earlier rounds to get 3 stars on all levels. Please make more levels, & add a team play option.

I love it! It's a great free game for anyone who loves finding and playing around with words. You don't have to be good with words as the first level lets you find 3 letter words in different directions, and increases the word length bit by bit. I have learned so many words I didn't know existed. I haven't come across any annoying pop up ads, which is great too. Hope that a version of a Scrabble will come along in the future. Thank you so,so much, King, for creating and sharing this game.

I would love to have more levels... And to be able to play on the computer too. Really love it!!! After Bookworm has vanished I was trying to find a similar game and this one is almost as good as podcap's creation.. Is a pity word games are not enjoyed as much as arcade or action games. At least you can learn spelling and you are able to improve your vocabulary.
