ALSA: buy your bus tickets

Traveling with family in Spain this spring and thought this would be a good idea. But even trying to see where stations are located the so 6 requires a screen lock; I only use a swipe. I set a pattern lock and because I thought it was BS to need a lock to see a map I promptly forgot it... minutes before my bus departure for which I wanted to find out where I need to go and had installed the app. Panic. First thing I did when I got access to my phone again wear to delete this app. Stupid design.

I find the app easy to use especially as I don't speak much Spanish. Clear timings of buses and an option to book a return at the same time as the outward journey. Good to book your trip as sometimes the bus can be full and having booked you are assured a place!

I bought a ticket by this app and it's reporting failure even that in my credit card transactions shows as approved. The tickets doesn't are showed in the app too. This app is a whole waste of time.

Oh my word, what a terrible app. Full of error messages. Unusable. I'm told to use Firefox as another alternative, but that doesn't load pages properly. Neither does Chrome or IE. How is one meant to transact with this company? Update: the app is still not working. It won't allow me to log into ALSA Plus, which I need to do to redeem a tourism voucher. It keeps on saying I'm offline when I'm not, and when I can use all other apps on my phone just fine.

Great, but dies when offline. You'd think that the recent route searching would be easy enough to store local.

Easiest way to get timetables and prices for the buses also great if you don't want to go to ticket counter and try to use pigeon Spanish to explain where and when you want to go!!!

Possibly the worst App I have ever used. Horrible experience. Just one example - To select my Date of Birth, I had to scroll through every month from 2003 back to 1973. That's 480 screen taps! 😔 So many error screens, inability to access AlsaPlus, etc. Plus €5.20 as a 'Management Fee' for tickets, and another €5 change fees. Just horrible.

This app is good for searching connections but don't use it for puchasing the tickets. I got "An unexpected error" message immediately when I payed for the tickets, the app retund to a screen where you need provide bank details. I checked my account balance and was charged by ALSA for the tickets but I haven't received them - my email address was correct as I checked it several times.

It was working perfectly until now. I'm trying to download my tickets in the Passbook with my Android phone, which I've done before, but instead of opening the Passbook, I'm forwarded to the Appstore. Luckily enough, I bought the tickets beforehand and was able to print them, but not everyone is as lucky as I am! PLEASE, FIX IT!!

I would have given this app a 5 star review but I now have a Spanish pensioners bus card giving me 50 discount on fares but you cannot use it on this app,only on also ticket machine's or on the bus .

Lots of slow downs and pauses, e.g. on the main page. Makes it take a long time to search for trips and change dates. Not very clear what the difference between fares are, different prices with no explanation. Otherwise fine.

Love this app. Sometimes it's a little clunky but it makes it so easy to book bus tickets in Spain on the Alsa network, which is extensive, excellent value, has friendly helpful drivers and amazing seems to be able to run very much on time.

It was very useful and I was able to purchase a ticket. The only problem was that after I finished the purchase I received an error message so I tried again and got the same message. Both purchases went through but was able to get a refund for the extra ticket. Good service but need to correct this error problem.

Avoid: ALSA charge extra to buy tickets via this app. 2 euro per ticket! Incredible that if you save ALSA money by doing your transaction online, they are charging you more. Also, ALSA is adding extras (such as travel insurance) to each purchase by default.

You cannot type and search your destinations, you literally have to scroll through the entire page to find your origin or destination. It's unnecessarily complicated and time wasting. I am deleting this app.

ALSA buses are comfortable; in fact more relaxing than even the high speed trains offer. You also get a portable personable tablet screen for everyone- something not available elsewhere [high speed trains]. Also available is the socket to plug your full charger, not just USB even though there's such an option. Even on these trains running on direct electricity don't support this. And yet yet the price is so cool. I love ALSA buses.😘

Simple, trouble free experience Prices are a bit more expensive than UK. Some of the translation provider, didn't work on entering card details. No big problem, as I just Google the word.

Bought a ticket, been charged. No ticket available. Not only bought ticket doesn't show in your account, when searching also is not found. No email received, and siting on the phone now 20min already to be attended. Crooked fingers coders is all what i can say.

I know this isn't the best place to post this, but I had an awful experience with my Alsa Bus, as it literally just didn't show up when I waited for it. Still haven't heard back from customer support in over a week and probably won't be getting a refund. Uninstalled and don't plan to use ALSA again

Great app when travelling by bus. you can check departure and arrival times as well as the fare for your journey. you can also buy tickets online but unfortunately you need a printed ticket as ALSA does not accept stickers on your phone which is a shame. Otherwise all good.

The service rendered is good, the app need to be more navigated more smoothly. App is kind of slow when busting 🤐

App is useful but quite buggy. Freezes and has errors often, and transactions are sometimes unable to be completed through the app.

I was charged for tickets, which did NOT become available neither via my email, nor in the app. Also, the final price was way higher without explanations. I will have to claim my money back, isn't it?

Easy to register but only on the web..

Unusable! Keeps refreshing and blinking. Impossible to input any data. A big company like this should do better.

No type in search function for origins or destinations. You have to scroll through hundreds to get to the one you want. #UXfail. Do these people do UX research? No se puede buscar destinos etc. tecleando. Hay que mirarlos todos para encontrar lo que buscas.

You need a connection map, like flixbus!! If I'm not sure as a tourist where I want to to, then I should be able to check where the buses go. (Like a button: "explore desitnations from e.g. malaga")
