Altec Lansing Just Listen

I have tried to use the warm up feature for my ComfortQ MZX870 headphones numerous times. The app crashes every time. How about fixing this? I just read a complaint from 2019 for the same issue. I even uninstalled and reinstalled which didn't help and wiped out all the original info I put in. Pull it from the Play Store if you can't make it work.

I operate a fully updated Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. Upon downloading the app, the app itself failed to boot or crashed after a breif moment 4 times in a row.

Only compatible with devices 2018 and newer. Extremely disappointing that there is no app to control speakers that are only slightly older than the most current models. Are they going to abandon app functionality on the 2018 and 2019 models in a year or two? Completely ridiculous and terrible support for a company that should be doing better for its customers.

It said I should "warm up" my speaker by playing one of their special files, so I tried it, but it would not play, and as soon as I press the button that is supposed to play it, the app crashes. Not once have I been able to properly "warm up" my speaker, which is what it suggests to do before my first listen, which I have not had yet.

The app doesn't work bought the boom speaker and can't use it because my phone needs the app and the app needs my phone to start the warm up completely useless

Have the headphones they're great. The app however sucks. I can't register the headphones I have and the app doesn't do much at all other than take up space on your phone. Not necessary to listen with headphones and could probably use all app features on a website. Would not recommend downloading.

Downloaded for the MZX635 Earbuds. Worst headset EVER and useless app! Once the left and right pods finally sync the right one gets disconnected .. as for the app, it's just some useless documentation that actually doesn't even explain how to properly fix the sync issue. I had to find a YouTube video for that but still the right one keeps disconnecting like MANY others have reported. Don't waste your time with this app or money with these Altec earpods.

Do not download this app. It cannot adjust your EQ or fiddle with any of the mechanics it claims to have. Claims it can adjust the lighting feature for the light speaker, also a lie. Certainly lets you to chat with customer support through the app tho and that was good because I couldn't connect ... Wow, not helpful at all, "You can bluetooth connect directly to your phone, it doesn't require an app" *well yeah obviously, but I want to use the app features* "Contact corporate for help"

Worthless. Has no useful features. The manual for my device says to install the "Altec-Lansing Connect App", that app doesn't exist, so I tried this one instead. No EQ, no controls, it doesn't even include the Altec-Lansing speaker I own! Complete waste of space on your phone, don't waste the time to download.

The app does not work. Just crashes when trying to "warm up" the device. This app is a waste of time while the speaker I pur is great!

I'm trying to connect my Hydrabalst speaker to my android device. It's like freakin rocket science!!!!! My GF's iPhone connected nut it telling me I need a app which I installed but noting I do through app works!!🙁

Can't JUST LISTEN Not sure why but I have 2 phones (same model) one needs an app to listen to music on an altec lansing speaker, the other doesn't. After installing the app, it can't just pair and listen it wants you to fill out paperwork before adding a device... to JUST LISTEN.

What is this app supposed to do? Was hoping to be able to adjust settings like disable touch control on nanopod cause the left always cuts out wanting voice assistance. Allni want is wireless headphones that I can control from phone. Touch controls are worthless for the average user and they make this nanopod not worth it

For anyone that found this app because of their phone prompt "need app to connect speaker" - this is not the fix! Just perform a system restart on your speaker. On my Jacket H2O, I pressed the volume up and down buttons simultaneously for 5-7 seconds. Then the speaker paired perfectly.

Pretty much a useless App. You can't control the speaker. The warm up step doesn't work and support was not able to help. Despite the documentation saying you can control the speaker lights via the app, there is no option to do that.

Very disappointing app. Asked many invasive questions involving detailed personal information. Finally installed it, and bluetooth discover complained that an app was required. It's a speaker, not a relationship. I finally got fed up and dumped the thing. Strongly recommend you not buy this speaker unless you want to use it as a wired perepheral...

Bloated App with no real functionality. Make an app for the bluetooth speakera to allow firmware updates and eq adjustments and tweaking. it will make your speakers more loved. Im using the mini jacket. sound crackles a bit. why is this.

Can't even justify 1 star for app... the speaker is AWESOME.... app sucks.. useless .. just use built in audio functions on your phone,etc,etc... you would think Altec would have thought this thru and included cool audio stuff... or for the speaker lights... not.. don't waste your time

This app is useless. doesnt allow control of anything. don't download. was told by an altec lansing overseas call center that this app is for information purposes only. And the info on the altec lansing website stating this app allows controls of speakers is inaccurate and will be changed.

My Boomjacket 2s is 2016 and now because an app was created I can't use my $200.00 speaker that's B.S. if you ask me. Either add the older models or delete the app

Garbage really don't do anything for the experience of u purchase and customer service treats u like a dummy... Trying to grow four arms to give this app four thumbs down..... Waste of time.,....

Altec Lansing advertised this app as being able to adjust eq settings, control lights, etc. It does no such thing. This a registration app and nothing more. Disappointing...

I have not been able to set up & use my Altec speaker. It was given to me as a gift. The directions are useless & I cannot get customer service to respond to my "help needs". Sooooo frustrating!!

While it might be useful for some devices it offers virtually no functions for others - only info. As to those who say it asks for too much personal info, only the lines with model and serial/ID number need to be entered. Not useful and uninstalled.

Absolutely useless. Does not support the Expedition 4 which I just purchased. This app is a waste of space on your phone. Doesn't even have owner's manual for most products.

Was able to add my headphones but the Quick Start Guide link just causes the app to close. Uninstalled after having it for less than 5 minutes as it is completely useless.

People review bombing are either ignorant or failed to follow instructions. Clearly says to download app and select your earbuds and put in the model number. Works great, great sound too. Blue ear buds

Hey read this!!!!!!!!! If you are here trying to pair ur speaker to a phone that says an app is required. Stop turn the speaker off and back on press and hold both volume buttons ur speaker will make beep sound use ur phone to pair the speaker

This is absolutely pointless in every way. Let me clarify in a way that sums up the amount of pointless and stupid combined.... IT IS A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER. YOU TURN ON BLUETOOTH, SEE YOUR THING, CLICK CONNECT. LITERALLY ANYTHING BEYOND THAT IS BEYOND POINTLESS AND STUPID. THANK YOU...NOT REALLY .. And while we're talking about stupid, I somehow got a speaker from an alternate universe as it's literally your only device not on the app, the IMW478... Yes you make it l. I have pics. Byeeeeee!

The Nanopods are pure junk...they don't even charge, and they don't even connect to a S-10. taking it back immediately. The call help number is terrible too.
