Great app but what format is the export file in? It exports as .apstat which isn't a file I can read with a text editor. What good is exporting the file when I can't import it into any known app/web app that I'm aware of nor can read the file with a text editor?
Have wanted to know our elavation for a while. Was suprised when this app had it to a few inches from where they have the brass geo tab at the crossroads up the street. INCHES-1.27 to be exact. Works on my phone the way its set up-heard it may vary by phone manufacturer. From Stylo 5
just downloaded this app because i wanted one without ads. after using it a very short time, i find it to be user friendly, uncluttered, accurate, and AD FREE! yay! love it!

Samsung Tab s9. Clear sky with no obstruction . Would bounce between 49 to 51ft. just standing still. Went down stairs three steps which equals 21 inches and the reading dropped 3.5 ft.
Used throughout the CanyonLands tour out west, where the elevation varied from 5000 to 9000 feet above sea level. Worked great.

app wants me to turn on GPS, which I don't have. app won't work. I deleted it. it was supposed to work offline?!?

app doesnt work, my gps turned on but app says turn on gps, so app closed and didnt start

Nice and useful
This is the best altimeter app available. You can even record your changes in altitude and view them later. I use it when driving over mountain passes. Amazing job PlainTap.
Ad free and decent, but... 1) would love a widget, and 2) as others have said, the GPS doesn't seem to work even though the signal is strong (bouncing between 4-5 bars, 5G). Fix either of the above and 5 stars bc ad free. Fix both and I'd pay a buck for this.
