Altitude is the most accurate altimeter for android.It also shows current, average and maximun speed, distance, time, direction of movement, physical address where you are, maximum and minimum height of your route and you can save them to see them whenever you want.You can view your routes in Map, post them on your Facebook profile, and share them with everybody through instant messaging clients and email.It is ideal for running, cycling, walking, hiking, skiing, go to the mountain, recording car journeys and workouts.You can view graphs of the height and speed of all your journeys as well as partial statistics for each mile or kilometer: average speed, time, and elevation gained or lost.It is easily configurable, and you can choose the units you want to display information: Km / h, MPH, meters, feet.To work properly, you must be outdoor in order to receive GPS signal.Altitude also has a compass to help you orient yourself anytime.

Goes from 990 feet to 915 feet without moving. Also told me my sofa was going 3.3mph. Total crap.

Excellent ap; use it a lot for cycling here in France. Would prefer the file posting type to be .jpg and not .gpx so that others can share.

Great app, verified elevation app is off by about 1 foot. I like the travel portion of it to to see average speed elevation and all that, pretty cool.

Compass doesn't work. App shuts off if it isn't on top. Altitude varies by 60 feet at my house from 6135 to 6195 ft, on 2 other apps the altitude at my house is rock steady at 6189.

The graphical interface is reminiscent of windows 3.1. Have installed it twice and unistalled twice. I am sure it is very accurate and does what it claims but could not get over the layout and proportions ugliness.

The app has always been close or exactly correct on both elevation and speed. I also like the included compass. I would gladly have paid for it.

Works very well, out hiking. Even gives the speed traveling in car. Easy way to check the accuracy of the speedometer.

Low battery and data usage once u quit the application gps turned off very accurats specially with z altitude correction switch. Thank you Ur z best

Only the compass working, not shure is good, but any other thing, with wi-fi or without just don't show nothing...
