I originally gave this app 3 stars under the assumption that this version was an early beta ish release. Since there have been 0 updates since November, I assume this is just the version we get. The video quality is terrible, when it works. The user interface is rough, videos don't go full screen, and theres no way to cast the video. The reliability of the video stream is atrocious. It will work for 2 hours straight, then all of the sudden not work. Needs a lot of work.

This app is awful. I can't believe its still in the app store. It should be taken down until they figure out how to make it work correctly. The app always comes up with errors. It always freezes and goes into a reboot cycle. It has only worked well once out of the 40 plus time I have tried it. Please fix or redesign this app. Until then, it is usless to everyone.

Seriously? No support for Chromecast? This app would be so very much better with Chromecast. very poor quality. No full screen mode. This first version of the app is pretty bad. I hope to see improvement through updates. Bummed out. 👎 Update: This app has never loaded a single a single stream. Desktop site hasn't worked for days. Please get it together.

The app was perfect for what I need from it, which is to have the ability to watch the avs and nuggets while on the road. Just like every other channel (ESPN, fox sports, cbs sports, etc...) you must sign in with your provider, and if you have cable or satellite then you can watch online for free by logging into your account so I'm not sure what people were expecting. Obviously the app could be improved but I'm sure that will happen as they evolve.

I honestly can't believe how absurdly garbage this app is. It beggars belief that altitude chose to release this app instead of just putting their games on xfinity's stream app. This works at best ten percent of the time. The other reviews aren't lying. This really is one of the last functional programs I've ever tried to use. But hey, sometimes you have a chance at managing to watch a nuggets or avalanche game which you couldn't otherwise. So it's got that going for it.

Its a good app to watch games but it glitches out a lot. If you try to log in to Xfinity it work one time and you can watch a whole game but if you try another day it keeps going back, to have you pick what cable network you'r using, you pick yours it says login is successful but then it just goes back to asking what cable network you have. Its very annoying I have to uninstall and then reinstall.

Well, this app sucks. Tried watching the Aves at Wild game on the 27th of Oct, the morning of the 28th where I'm at, and having to sign into a cable provider just isn't going to happen for me as I work outside the country at the moment and dont need a cable provider. Therefore, this app was deleted as quickly as it was downloaded. Very disappointed!

I'm updating my review, which was formerly very negative since the app basically didn't work. But I tried it again recently, and it worked much, much better. It froze about 3 times during the game, but it was easy to just click the back button and select Play again to immediately resume. (Yes, it would be better if it didn't freeze.) Other than that, I watched the whole game without any other problems. I'm going to keep trying the app and hope it continues to work well. Impressed.

This could be the worst app ever. There is no full screen mode while streaming live games and it constantly makes you sign in again repeatedly after you've already done it. In order to properly stream I've had to uninstall it and re-download it several times. I would give it a zero if that was possible.

The app simply doesn't work. How could they release this garbage? It won't let you sign into your cable provider Edit: there is a fix for the sign in issue but it requires you to uninstall and install again. Every. Single. Time. Still terrible garbage. Edit 2, 10/28/21. Signed up for Directv at new address and this app is still terrible. Like other users have pointed out, it is not possible to sign in with a directv account 11/04/21 they fixed the directv sign in issue. I applaud the developers

UPDATE 4/15/19: Finally works! So far the stream has been flawless. Updated to 5 stars. Please add a Chromecast button. One small issue when in landscape mode, the status bar doesn't hide. (Original review- Yep, doesn't work like everyone has mentioned. I get a sign in loop.) UPDATE (3/21/19): New release did nothing. I was very excited to finally see a new update today. The release notes even mentioned authentication fixes with Comcast. Nothing changed. Still getting a login loop with Comcast.

Downloaded app. Click on video. Takes me to a screen with the comcast, directv, ect logos. I click on "sign in" and nothing happens. Sad that there are no FREE options for watching the local sports teams you LOVE! I was excited when altitude advertised this app and now just back to annoyed and disappointed.

It's awesome to be able to watch Avs games wherever I want. But just like everyone else, if you leave the app at all (even left running in the background), you have to uninstall/reinstall to gain access again. At least for Xfinity, unsure about others.

Happy this is functional now! Update at end of March seemed to fix issue with sign in for Xfinity. Consistently plays the games when I want to watch them now. Still occasional lower quality or buffering instances. Allowing full screen (without side or top bars) and chromecast would be great next steps.

stream service is awful. constantly freezing and force closing. I have tried it both on android phone and apple ipad. both at the same time. still freezes at the same time and shuts down at the same time. multiple times a game.

Doesn't work at all, all video is just a black screen. Even if the video was working like it used to, the quality was always really bad and without casting it's of minimal use. Kroenke, open your wallet and make this app worth existing!

Terrible app. Nothing I isa clear with indication of logging in with direct tv account. No direction on how to maneuver the app. I still have not got the streams to work during the games. The app is obviously ignored on the maintenance and functionality end and Altitude still has no desire of creating something that it can give to its fans.

Worthless app, downloaded it and quickly deleted it. Only works if you have cable or satellite. Based on the TV commercial it made it seems that this was a subscription service. Completely worthless for people who travel and don't have cable or satellite.

This is pretty much the most garbage app I've ever used. Uninstall / Reinstall all the time to get it to work. In the middle of watching a game and it will say, "unauthorized to view"...or blackout...or Error. Worst. App. Ever. If I could rate 0 I would.

When I'm out of town watching the app, I always have to go in and delete the cache and data because it says that I am not able to view this content. Once that is done, I need to re-sign into my cable provider then it does work, but just an inconvenience.

i love my avs and want to support them but the app simply doesn't work! You constantly have to uninstall and reinstall the app and once it does let you in again the app times out when it asks you to accept cookies for the website. Very damn frustrating for a constant traveler!

It doesn't work. I installed two different times like some people said, but that didn't change anything. I signed in with DirecTV, but nothing would open. it just listed the upcoming schedule... Absolutely useless app.

I have tried watching avalanche 5 times on different locations and 2 states on and off Comcast networks and it has never worked. It just spins and goes back to providers again. If they were charging to watch it would work perfectly.

Please ADD CHROMECAST BUTTON! Just one update in the last 3+ years would be nice. Every other sports app everywhere does this, why can't you??? Someone get Kroenke on the horn! Constantly freezes, at least 4 times per stream(avalanche games) during the middle of a game I constantly have to exit out and reload or reinstall the app. The idea is great, but the execution is horrible.

Terrible app. Keeps making you sign in with your cable/satellite provider. Won't actually play any content, even after you've signed in multiple times. Too bad there wasn't a zero star option, that's what this app deserves.

Doesn't work. Freezes. Glitches. Sound drops. For something that gets plugged constantly, you'd think there would be some more thought put into it. I would give zero stars if I could. It's 2019. Get with the program.

this app is awesome, it doesn't work perfectly but all you have to do is uninstall it and reinstall it before you watch the game and it works fine. I watch every Nuggets/Aves game I had time for now and I'm on the road in a semi most of the time. So insanely greatfull for this app.

The app was very buggy, crashed and hanging frequently, reported error messages, etc. Now it doesn't work at all. You'd think they would have their app fixed since they aren't on tv.....

It constantly crashes and is difficult to even launch at times. Once it gets working don't quit the app! i wish they could fix it, it makes me so happy to watch my Avs whenever I want.
