I have been dealing with Altras for years. The company transfers money abruptly and offers good transactions rates. The app is not very good though. It is now, as the most recent issue, stuck with an update message, which it displays when you attempt to sign in. This is very frustrating and I didn't manage to find anyway around it so far. Unless it resolves soon, I will have to find an alternative money transfer system.
From 5 to 1 star, customer support is terrible. The only times I had issues that needed solving, I got back messages that are abrupt, irrelevant to what I am asking and have the air of someone who just doesn't want to help. Very disappointing for a service that was truly needed. Going back to WU. Old review: The app and its look could be improved but that's besides the point. The service is great and reliable, and it solved a big real problem for people.
Great simple to use app. It does the job. Just a few suggestions: - Please check the online Register link, i couldn't connect (16 May 2020).However, over the phone worked fine. - Ensure text is visible on customer feedback section, as the text was too bright. - Please add UK phone number also on Login page. Thank you for the great and quick service. :)
Good app but need to fix managing recipients (deleting/editing doesnt show sometimes) Going back and forth can be problematic (app forgets everything you fill in) If you switch to another app, the app forgets everything you've entered - good over the phone support though Update 29/12/2020: much better functionality and no crashes or lags when used. The menu has become more informative and intuative.

The app does what it has to do to help deliver money overseas, but it's too slow in fact gets stuck many times, where you have to start all over again. Once you add a receiver it's a bit difficult to update or correct their details unless you delete it and start again from scratch
very reliable, and prompt. Also they are the only agency I know that can deliver to sudan in USD, and they have for me. They are also very friendly and helpful to talk to on the phone, when I was initially registering, and again when one of my ID had expired. Well done to all the staff and thank you for your services.
Easy to use without complications
They have many different categories for money sending reasons. I think the service rate should've got along with the purpose 😕. Nay, at all, the service rate is not changing accordingly with the purpose. I don't know if you noticed such thing or not. I gave you one star 🌟 just because this is not right, what so ever. If you categorized the purposes of sending the money at first, then there should be a solid consideration for those purposes. The exchange rate should've changed accordingly.
it's a great app and super fast process to get your money , but there is two frustrating things first when the other person get the money in local currency sometimes they give a ruined bank note in the middle of the money , second when they get the money in USD , if it's 100$ or less they dont give one bank note they divide 50/50$ or 20$/20$/10$/50$ , also the last update when u enter the amount to send it says you should set either amount to send or amount to receive ! even if you entered it
Easy to use and very convenient to transfer money abroad. The customer service agents are brilliant and really helpful continously support and address any concerns. The only down side if I want to be picky is the transaction limit on cash pickup option but its not that inconvenient as you can send after the tow weeks cool off.
The service itself is great, and it's one of the best ways to send money to my home country, however the app is beyond horrible, full of glitches and errors and it's really a painful process to register, you have built a good customer base but unfortunately you don't want to invest some money to fix your app. I m considering using Western Union bcs I m stuck for an entire hour trying to create an account! It says my phone number is invalid!
It was better than now, now there's fees for the transaction £2.50 I don't know why and the exchange rate is already very high compared with the pounds rate in the market, I would like to add 1 positive point which is bonus, their company is the most quicker company for sending and handing out money, if just they take a reasonable fees for small amount such as £5,000 sometimes it's essential for some people but if I don't have more than what I should send it's 😭
App is Good .. the only thing is that it shows different fair calculations before completing the transaction with 2 extra dollars on every transaction I make and it was never fixed...Please have a clear exchange rate on the dollar. thanks
They are the best in every sense and word
one of the worst money transfer companies so far. I do not recommend it to anyone . They take a very long time, more than their stated 12 hours to verify documents and there is confusion as to what kinds of documents are requested.The experience has beeb very terrible, they wasted my time. you cant reach to anyone to talk with, and when you do they put you on hold for a very very long time. dealing with them has been very frustrating.They claim ease of sending money, but this by far has been bad!
Great app, there was a technical glitch where the app keeps asking for update but when you click it takes you to the store where no update is available. It kept happening so many times until I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again.
I complained to the company that this application is not working as it keeps asking me time after time to update and when I press update, it does not update. It keeps repeating the same process. As I told your customer service provider on the phone I say again: you are losing alot of customers because of this glitch.
I have a problem to access my account and the application every time try to access, it directed me to update the app while the auto update is turned on and there no other option to skip or up date later on.
It is very frustrating, it keep asking you to update App every time you need to login. I deleted and re install it this morning 3 to 4 time. This even happen when the customer service send you " updated copy".
It's the pest company I never seen. for the last 5 years experience. Great services, fast transfer up to 6 countries , easy app use, and always cheapest price. Thanks
Easy to use, very organised. Just one thing to say sometimes there's a delay in money transferral or delivery, but overall a very good app, would definitely recommend it

This app is not completely secure. I never used the service before and today want to register and have a message telling me user allready registered. I tried to find a contact details to solve the problem but no information available. Hope I will find someone to solve my problem.
Since last week there's something terribly wrong with your app it seems to stuck with update message when I tried to update it goes back to (update now) again so please fix this issue with your app to save your good reputation & after all the hard work you have done for years it's a shame you can't make it work properly it's an advice not criticism thank you.
