It was a great app originally.They took away the quick login which was frustrating but doable. This past week it updated again and you enter in all the info on one screen....but it always goes to loading and BACK to the login screen over and over again so I never get to my account. Incredibly frustrating
Very good C U! They need to fix the turn off card feature in the app. It keeps deactivating my card. I turn it on but it doesn't work in stores etc. I had to go in the branch for them to reset it twice. They don't know why it's happening.
Great banking app, only reason it's losing a star is because you can't really "remember" a device. Every time your phone updates altura doesn't recognize it and you have to go through the headache of verification, and you've gotta pick a new name for your device. Not the end of the world, but definitely annoying.
I agree with the folks who say the update ruined the app. I currently owe one penny on my credit card because if you try to pay the full amount you get an error that says "cannot exceed (exact amount you owe). I get that they make money when we don't pay off our cards but this is sketchy and frankly very underhanded
This app needs an update. It used to run really well until a few weeks ago. Every time I go into the app to check my dashboard, it takes a REALLY long time to show, IF it ever does. It's just a blank white screen.
This app needs to seriously be fixed! Before the update the app worked great, but since the update, the app freezes, it doesn't log in but resets back to log in screen (it does this multiple times) and the pin code feature has be taken out. completely frustrating and useless!
Perfect App. This app is perfect for me because i can transfer balances between checking and savings in a split second. Its really fast. There is. no waiting time after you transfer either. its all real time. I give this app an A+
Overall, very organized and easy to use. Doesn't take long to figure out how each function works and I love how you can deposit your checks directly through this app. Been with Altura for about 6 years and have never had an issue with them.
As a new retiree, I was pretty much old school in how I handled my money business. (i.e., some ATM, in-person transactions, telephonic inquiries). But since this pandemic, I had to learn to maximize my cellphone for more than texts and calls. I can do almost 90 percent of my money business, faster, efficiently and anytime. I'm a believer now that an old dog can learn a new trick. Lol
App has had to be uninstalled and installed several times in order for it to actually work. I'm unable to pay or transfer funds on my Altura credit union accounts. And I wasn't able to even set up transfer funds between Altura and and external institution. What a hassle.
Very convenient, and user friendly. Only draw back, I have difficulty using the camera/scanner portion of the app to deposit checks...I often get error messages when trying to deposit.
Somewhat convenient since I live out of state. It wants to send a text code more often than not. Annoying. It has never accepted my deposit the first time. Always asks to redo it because the amount is wrong when it is not.
Won't quit pestering me with "DO YOU LOVE THIS APP" popups while I'm trying to check my balances. Does anybody else remember when you used to have to get infected or hacked to suffer intrusive popups? Now it's a built-in feature of every app!! F--
After the recent update, the app no longer supports quick log in and I have to display snapshot so big all the time. Snap Shot was perfect how it was before as an option on the main screen.
Decent app. I can see my account and make transfers. I cannot scroll on the budget page or delineate purchases towards my budget on the app. Digital check deposit works. I really with the budget part of the app was functional
Please try again unexpected error. Oh right because your total dogshit app has locked me out AGAIN, what is this the 7th time just in 2022? Going to change banks soon because this bank is either too cheap or too stupid to fix their app. Almost can't go a week without this piece of garbage locking me out. And it isn't from screwing up passwords, everything is finger print login. 100% just this app is a complete and total piece of garbage.
I keep trying to open the app but it just keeps saying a unexpected error has occurred and it just keeps telling to try again later. It was working an while ago and it was fine but now I can't even get to the login screen
it's up to date, it's pretty quick to get to what I need to do. I understand the format, overall very convenient for transfers, mobile deposits, etc.
I have to enter my info at least 5 times to access my account. I call and they tell me that shouldn't be happeneing..well obviously there's a reason I'm calling. today I tried to log in over 20 times and just gave up when I couldn't log in. I know it's not my phone or service, so they need to fix something.
It is bugging...The app keeps saying the amount I'm depositing to my account is not the same as it is written when I take the photos. Not sure why it keeps saying that bc it is accurate. I tried 3 different checks...tired of this and wasting my time.
I only have a problem with Remote Deposit capture. The pictures I take are clear to me, but the system can't read the check info and kicks back errors.
Snapshot never seems to work. Keep having to fully log in to see balances. Snapshot always shows it's turned on however it doesn't actually display.
This app had a server error which costed me 4 days on the phone and numerous overdraft fees reversed. This was in July of 2018. Today September 13th, another server error. I've started looking for another bank. Plus they stopped share banking. Huge negative on both issues.
The new login system is horrible not only that even after you get through that whole entire process sometimes it still won't open it stays loading you guys are really doing great with all these updates I'm glad you're listening to your customers but there's got to be some kind of Middle ground.
I love altura! I am so satisfied banking with them, they are great all the way around ♡ their app is the best its been super convenient for me and easy to use. I know I will be an altura member for a long long time, and I have recommended altura to all my friends and family too 💜
Awful app! Got suckered into trying it again after a bad experience years ago. Now its worse. Makes you log in over and over in the middle of trying to do something then it says wrong password when you try the same one just used. Had to reset password multiple times. Was sent email asking to finish completing something but no way to navigate there. Last try it was just a white screen. Think I got a loan but can't view anything! Never signed off on it. Then they hung up when I called for help!
