Aluratek WiFi Frame

Great idea. But frustrating that some pictures turn out upside down when they aren't that way in my photo gallery on my phone.Some pictures come out extremely small with black outlined around the picture. It takes a very long time to gets your photos downloaded onto it. Even when standing next to it. And actually it hasn't downloaded my pictures I've tried sending to it over the past few months. Needs to have an easier way of placing your photos and deleting photos on an app

At first, this app worked great! we binded this with 3 different devices, and they all worked...for the first week. Now, the app doesn't work, it will not stay open on any device. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Going to try and do the factory reset on the frame and uninstall and reinstall....if thay doesnt work, or if it only works for a week, it will be going back. Super frustrating!!

Worked once and then couldn't upload pictures after that. Uninstalled it, re-installed it, tried everything and still couldn't get additional photos installed, very disappointed. Wouldn't purchase again. This is one of the most aggravating devices I've ever used. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and have gone to factory settings and retired again and again. Just absurd.

this app is awful the frame is nice but its like pulling teeth to get it to work with the app. it took me several hours to get the app to bind to the frame. once i had the frame connected to the wifi it wouldn't bind with my phone.i spent hours looking for info dealing with permissions all for not. tried again today and decided to turn the wifi off on my phone and tried to bind again.and that did the trick for me. now to figure out the Facebook connection. still cant get that to work. QR no work

it works but interface leaves a lot to be desired. like many reviews it just stopped working and I was pissed. contacted the company and although slow and over multiple emails it finally got resolved. suggested that they have better faqs or self help within the app as my issue was a simple cache situation. but it works now and grandma is happy

Used to work great , liked it so much bought 2 of them , now just another picture frame , app keeps closing , unable to upload any new pictures, how can a product go from a hero to a zero in this day of technology , wish i could rate this app with a -- 3 stars . Even that is being kind . Please fix , then ill fix this , had to give it 1 star or wouldn't let me post , wow

We purchased 5 of these frames last Christmas 2018, everything worked great the first few months. Now since around June 2019 the app just doesn't work! I've tried everything, cleared messages and rebooted my frame etc. I see other complaints as well by other customers who are having the same problems. It is mid October now and nothing has been done. We spent over a thousand dollars for these frames for family members and I feel completely cheated out of my money. It lasted 6 mos.

Looks like they fixed the glitch from Christmas...Binds pefectly to multiple devices now and transfers pictures nicely. If you have trouble with Android and the app crashing, look into manualy setting permissions on the device.

This product is terrible, I'm going to return it. I've tried repeatedly to bind the device with no success. And this was after the device initially wouldn't give me the device number and after I called customer service, who didn't call back to help fix the problem. Not gonna keep wasting my time on a crappy product/company.

This doesn't work. Plain and simple. It literally has one job and it doesn't do it. I may not be a software or app developer but I'm not a moron and this isn't working. I have a new but not brand new popular phone, this is the type of app that should be simple and user friendly and it's not. I read the other comments and I checked and all the app permissions are allowed.

We had no trouble setting up the frame and binding 2 different Android devices within minutes with the app. Works perfectly so far. Waiting for out-of-state family to connect too, will update review then.

Crashes on every action. To reproduce, install app and link with your device. Then try anything else, and it'll crash. Relaunching doesn't fix anything.

The app worked when we first got it, and now, it won't upload pictures and keeps crashing. This is very frustrating and I would like to continue using it if this issue was fixed.

Frustrating! Frame doesn't update and won't transfer pictures from phone. When trying to"bind", App says waiting for response, but nothing received by the frame.

It works for what's intended. Iphone 8 users and myself on Android Galaxy S7, both managed to upload images. On my Android, I stored images on my SD card which the app doesn't read.

Can't send pics to the frame. Called for tech support. They said they would call back and never did. App sucks! So angry. This was a gift from my daughter for me to put my grandchildren pictures in. Have tried to reinstall everything and still Doesn't work.

The app stops working and does not send pictures to the frame. I reseted the frame and uninstalled the app on my phone and it still does not work.

Used app for about a year and now it just crashes. Can't use the app at all, tried reinstalling a few times but still does not work.

Just awful. To bind with your frame the app asks for a 10-digit serial number. Fun fact: no 10 digit serial number exists anywhere on the frame or anywhere in the device info. Returned this piece of junk and bought a better product online

very finicky and non responsive. i think i'd rather do without the wireless feature. support is very poor.

Guide shows aluratek smart frame not wireless frame. Just bought the 10inch frame . The only app is wireless frame. But it ask for a code . There is no setup or code

It works great after you allow app all permissions. The crashing stops instantly. Very happy so far.

PEOPLE WHO ARE SAYING THE APP CRASHES* The app itself doesnt ask for permissions, you have to manually go to settings and allow permissions for the app, therefore when you try to use it it just crashes because its not allowed permissions.

This must be a scam product or something. I don't know what company would sell something based on the app working and then have a nonfunctional app and not do anything about it. Too bad, would have been a nice gift but, now have to return.

you downloaded the wrong app. Its silly they have two apps but the tablet clearly states to download aluratek smart frame and not wifi frame. if you download the other app it will probably work. this company is dumb for doing this!

Won't bind. checked app permissions and no luck. junk, zero stars. cant get this back in the box and to the store fast enough.

Do not buy this product. The Android app will not "bind" to the Wifi frame making wireless transfers impossible. Bought this as a gift for my parents and it's useless.

App does not work using internet to upload pics... the main purpose of the picture frame. Multiple family and friends had the same issue using various popular phones.

The frame is nice but the App is very difficult to work with. Not a Smart Frame!

Crashes until you go to phone settings and allow all permissions. Then it works great!
