Always On Edge - Edge Lighting

I've used the full version of on my past 3 phones, and yes, setup can be confusing until you get the hang of it. When working correctly, it's great. Lots of useful features and options, (reason for the confusing setup), and very customizable. Unfortunately, there appears to be a bug when using it with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Matched all settings to my S21 Ultra's, but with the S22, the app makes the screen open at lowest brightness every time. Confirmed Adaptive Brightness is off. Very annoying.

It works as intended but whenever there an update, you have to reset the app and do everything all over again because it loses the repeat feature. So, say you have the app show the notification for 5 seconds every 9 seconds, after an app update it shows the notification one time and that's it. I'd has tons of settings and customisation is great.

Paid for the full version no ads, and apart from being really hard to set up, notifications keep popping up for the app about errors any time I get a text or other thing I set it up for. All permissions set and it still would say more permissions needed. Everytime I get a text, three other notifications pop up about accessibility for the app. Not worth the money at all, not worth the free version either.

I couldn't get through the setup. It makes you watch multiple video ads (two videos every time you save a setting) or pay throughout setup process. I don't have a problem paying for something that works well, but at least give us a short trial to try it out. I gave up on setup after about the 10th video ad.

Hi, I really enjoy having this wallpaper as a border in spectrum stable earlier and now I'm using it only around the camera pin hole with the same setting. There is a problem whenever the phone is being used in landscape mode on homescreen with launchers like Nova and the notch adjusts itself to the orientation rather than around the pinhole camera. I think the wallpaper itself works this way and is there a way to make it work in both orientations only around the camera?

I love all of the options and specific changes you can make. However recently I have been getting an error were it requests additional permission and after a while it turns off the permissions so I have to do it again

Cannot save settings. It leads to a forced payement or watch an ad wich doesn't display. I don't understand if there is anything you can actually do with that app without paying. Feels like another app they let you install before they incite you to pay, kinda scam like this.

Still 5 stars after more than 3 years of use. I have been using this app since early 2019. I upgraded to a s20+ 2 years ago and this app is still working great. The developer replied to my question quickly and solved a minor issue. It's great in meetings when I can't have sound on, it's great on noisy surroundings when I van heat sound & it works. Feb 3rd updates is working great on my S9. The developer was very quick to respond to questions and worked hard to address issues that I was having.

Have a Galaxy S10+. I've noticed a bug with the latest update. It keeps changing 'Screen Timeout' from 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Have reverted to the previous version until fixed. Enjoy the app albeit it's complicated to set up.

Works pretty good the only thing I disliked on it was every time you go to like you said something up on it for a particular app and you go delete that app it makes you save it but to save it yeah this watch and add every single time but other than that it worked pretty good and then some of the instructions weren't exactly clear for the pro cuz one thing issue I ran into was I went through the entire process of setting up the always on display then at the very end to save my settings needed pro

It definitely is great for replacement of led light but the costume contact option is not working on the Samsung Galaxy s21 fe I just got and that's a big bummer as I paid for the app for that purpose. Please fix. This is why I paid. It's not linking to contacts!!! Multiple emails sent. No response

If this app worked consistently, I would buy the paid version. Unfortunately, it seems to be inconsistent on the s10+ on Android 11 at best. About half the time, it works as it should. The other half, the screen wakes, the whole screen flashes then shows the appropriate notification, or I receive no notification at all. The fact that it works sometimes is confusing. I have tinkered with phone, app, and msg settings without luck. Hoping for improvement with updates. Definitely has potential.

I keep getting a screen asking to accept certain permissions but when I try they don't stick and last night I accepted all permissions I was unable to download apps from the play store bc it was overwriting the app I sent and email to.tje developer and no response or help with this.

Disappointed, I just couldn't get it to work on any OnePlus phone I have. It's as if, The app appeared open, but their was no one inside!! Meaning, attempting use for the first time, seem like it requires you watch a video/ad for developer support and by the final step needed to make the app work or Applying the "Saved Settings" permission there wasn't a single Ad available to watch for the final step and it wouldn't work without it!! If it works in the future..I will change the rating!!

Have paid for this and the recurring sound for the notification don't work i have tried all the setting to have this fixed kindly help me on fixing this also there is no rotation of the led light on receiving multiple notification have enable this option but this doesn't work most of time fix this

Great app. Does what I wanted on my Pixel 5. Thank you for developing this app, been so good to have an led back for notifications. Also the developer helped resolve a bug in a version after I contacted them. Great service

UPDATE: Developer must have figured out what was wrong. It works as it should now. Having a lot of problems lately. Color customization stopped working, then the notifications are freezing and lagging. I'll fix the review once these problems are taken care of. But I paid for premium so I needed to post this information for others to avoid this for now.

The best so far in terms of Screen-Off notch notification lighting, but the notch position will randomly jump way out of place no matter if it's automatically positioned or manually.

Your R&D team should try to learn from many other popular apps.how they make them easy and friendly to use for the regular users.Some day your app will be good when people finally fix it out how to set it up and keep it running smooth.

I've experienced some bugs for the full version. 1. when I'm on landscape mode then turn to portrait mode the lighting remain on landscape mode which bugs on the screen. 2. animated wallpapers, sometimes it doesn't work. 3. Lighting sometimes doesnt work on all apps even i turn off the notif filter Recommendations please add a setting for 'Enabled apps' that uses only the default light settings; for example, I set the default color to yellow, the notifications on all apps should be on yellow.

Much better than NotifyBuddy, more customisation and contact specific notifications can be made. Quick response and fix to a previous bug report was very welcome, thank you!

Garbage that doesn't work. The suggestions do not match with my S10. Add to this having to watch video ads and they can f off. Junk!

Charge lighting no longer stays on if you unlock your phone. You have to unplug then replug the phone. It should stay on as long as it is plugged in. Please fix it, it used to work.

Update: 2 stars. No response from dev after a month. Used to work great, no longer works. Google Pixel 4A. Great app, but no longer works after a Google update. The default Google AOD overrides this one I guess. I even paid the $6.50 for Full Version since it said it fixed this. It does not currently. Fix in progress?

I love this app! I miss my led on pixel 5 and now it's back. Just one massive thing I hope to really solve: after each notification the app sets my screen brightness to 100% but does not turn is back! And now I have to reduce screen brightness about 40 times a day and it's driving me crazy..

Setup complex and confusing. Display seems blank while staying always on, thus consuming battery. No clever combination of light+vibration warning.

Since my phone was updated to android 12 the app stopped working on my samsung galaxy S10+ and that is really bad for me. I really much appreciate the app though.

After downloading many apps for notification AOE was no doubt the best. Incredibly customisable and works great on my Pixel 6. For $7 it was a very cheap fix solution for the void of no notification light. It takes time to get it perfect, but the options and ability are there. Well done AOE, THANKS.
