Amateur Radio Exams 1.5.1 Pro

Studied using ALL questions in the pool for 2weeks, took technician test and only missed 3! Upgraded so I can upgrade to General. Love this app!! **And now I'm back to study for the general test. Wanted to also study for the extra but the rest questions haven't been updated yet. 11/25/2020 They expired in June 2020. Hope they update soon.

Doesn't calculate the score correctly and doesn't remember the missed questions. But other than that it's great I would totally recommend it even with these bugs.

Passed Extra on first try. Excellent app for immersion and had zero bugs. A+!

I bought this app thinking the practice tests would be representative of the actual tests. They are not! I am studying for Amateur Extra. Test is 50 questions. One question from each of the 50 categories/subsections. Apparently, the app randomizes the ENTIRE question pool. Doing so gives you multiple questions from the same category/subsection which is completely wrong. Total waste. There is a free app out there with the same deficiency and much better interface.

The text is too small. .. very hard to read in all of the questions. Please find a way for us to set the font size. Other than that, it's practically perfect.

Found it lacking had large gap after graphic between text and answers found free arrl test prep better quality and study guide with test prep . will check back and try again was looking for something to help out a few friends to get there tech licence this won't do it can be better but OK price if modified to be a bit better that arrl test prep

I used this to get ready for both the technician and general test. It was a big help.

While there may have been an error or two reported in earlier reviews, I didn't come across any. And because the app was with me, it allowed me to take advantage of even short amounts of time. Because of this app I received my General class license in less time than expected!

Would be nice to have question pool broken down by catagory or at least small chunks (i.e. 20 to 50 question per set) in order to have focused study/testing. Very helpful none the less.

Perfect compliment to any study book (right now I'm enjoying Stu Turners guide). Simple structure, you just concentrate on the questions. Recommended!

Only thing would be to have the ability to fast forward to each section, in the all questions mode.

This is a very helpful little app for test study.

I used this app to pass my technician and general tests with three weeks of studying. I did no studying other then just taking the tests repeatedly using this app. Good enough for me!

Used this to get my Extra, worked great. Interface isn't all that great -- doesn't upsize to a tablet very well. Would be nice if there was an option to automatically move on to the next question if you got it right, rather than having to poke the > to get to the next question. * Would be nice if it showed your score in a percentage format too. * It should keep a historical record of your tests so you can see the rate at which you are improving * Should show you how many of the pool you've taken I think you get an excellent value for the money, this is the best exam app on play right now.

Used this app to help me go from nothing to extra in about a month. It does have an annoying bug where questions with an image look fine, but the next question without an image is not formatted correctly.

because of this app I upgraded my ticket to general two weeks ago. i studied for three weeks. now to study for extra with new question pools out.

Just what I needed. Sat the technician test today and aced it. A good investment.

I passed general by using this app to quiz me as I read the arrl general book. the feature to ask you questions you got wrong previously is very useful. however it should randomize the answers to help you avoid position memorization. recommended!

There was an option to randomize the order of the answers a la the actual exam.

A very decent (not excellent) interface. Would have gotten four stars if the general pool was current. The new questions should have been added by now

Great program! Helped me pass the Extra exam on the first try. Has a great option to test you on just the questions you missed previously. Well done..

After reading the ARRL book, I used the Amateur Radio Exams app to help me get prepared for the technician test. I took random tests until I had been through all the questions, then I went back and took tests of the questions I missed. It was nice going into the test knowing I had reviewed and answered every question. I passed the technician test with a 100%. I just purchased the Pro version to help me as I go for the General and maybe even Extra.

Great for an impromptu practice session. Really helped me get "over the hump" with the General Exam.
