Amateur Surgeon 4

Wow, this game rocks. After ads, it automatically returns to the game instead of forcing you to X out. Unlike many games, there is no "paywall", though I'm somewhat ashamed to admit I've spent more on this then any of the others. It's obviously more frustrating than it's computer counterparts because a touchscreen isn't as precise as a mouse, but that just adds to the challenge. Such fun gameplay.

I love the game play, and it's very fun. I just hate that you can only support them by paying for the in-game currency. There's no permanent currency upgrade, and nothing that will turn off ads permanently. They just keep nagging you with the "buy our currency" ads all the time.Though, other ads are very well placed, and you won't see any unless you knowingly click on the "show me an ad" button. They continue to put more content into the game, and it's very replayable with built in challenges.

I used to love this game, now it's just something I lost money on. I had so many special edition characters collected and i had completed almost all the levels. I'd also spent a lot of money on diamonds (Which you can't really progress without), but I didn't mind because the game was fun. Now all of a sudden all my data has been erased and I've lost all of my progress and characters. And the cloud is no help, as it wouldn't let me save my progress. I've contacted support three times to no avail.

I used to love this game. Unfortunately it's extremely hard to progress without the use of the regenerator. No partner specials, can't complete most tasks. You can't even skip them or use the wheel, because ads won't load. It's pointless anyways without being able to use the rewards. So disappointed. Update, or just remove the app from the store please.

This is actually a very fun game. Unfortunately I can't enjoy it regularly because of the ridiculous time gating. The loot boxes wouldn't be as bad if there weren't so many levels that needed specific partners. Needing partners at all, really is just a system that renders this game annoying to play. I want to have fun playong a game, but the developers seem to disagree and rather I'd wait before being able to have fun with the game... that or spend gems to either refill a partner's time or have the possibility of getting a new partner.

I greatly enjoyed this on the computer years ago and am having fun again on my phone. However, my biggest gripe that sets the stars back is that you cannot do some surgeries if you do not have an available partner. It stops me from playing until the recharge is done. Very annoying. Diamonds can be used for everything else, no complaints there, but forcing the recharge/partner selection creates a long annoying arbitrary brick wall to my enjoyment.

Fun game, but there are way too many purchase mechanics. There are two in game currencies. You have to pay to level up each item, then pay to access the purchased upgrade. You have to pay to get assistants, then pay to release your assistant if you don't want to wait hours. Sure, it's in game currency, but its difficult to play without paying real money. Otherwise the game is excellent.

Addictive and a lot of fun, but I think I'm done with it. I've unlocked and beaten all levels and all partners. Are there any plans to add more levels? If not, I'll likely be uninstalling it. Like I said, a lot of fun and a great way to pass the time, but the controls can be a little touchy at times, and many of the levels can turn into trial and error (especially the levels requiring partners).

Overall, this game is hilarious and fun. However, I have several pretty big complaints. First, the calibration/aim/touch response/whatever is way off. This isnt that big of an issue when you're stapling cuts or using that pain relief goop, but its downright infuriating when you're trying to zap bugs or cut with the chainsaw. Also, I /hate/ that the game forces you to have a partner for certain levels. This pretty much forces you into wasting your diamonds on new partners that you didn't want. In the game's defense, though it's not necessarily pay-to-win.

I have enjoyed the game, but used some diamonds to extend a level only (that I beat the buzzer on, but the game did not recognize it) only to have it freeze, because I had BEAT THE BUZZER ALREADY, so the "next" screen was up, and so despite completing it in time, and then using gems to extend it the game says I lost the round. Completely infuriating.

Overly difficult, overly monetized, broken. This game has insane difficulty spikes that are primarily overcame by using partner characters that can only be gained by microtransactions, which currently are completely broken and can not be obtained even though in game progression anymore. The option to purchase these partner characters is completely broken in the current version. Simply ignore this release.

I wish i could rate it higher because the game play is quite good. I had so many issues though and no help or feedback. I wrote to them twice describing my issue which was that i was unable to use the re-generator. Without that thing (or spending real money) it's nearly impossible to pass some levels.

Awesome! This is the one of the best games I've ever played. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because the cloud save doesn't work properly and it keeps trying to load me back to when I first started, so have had to disable cloud save. Was also a little disappointed that when you buy the safe it only works once and you have to buy it again (which I won't do) once you re-fill it.

A fun game based on all of the other predecessors to the game. However, the stages system and the partner system makes it atrocious to play sometimes and can even stop your progress. Fun at first, but it gets a little repetitive near the end.

This game is addictive and fun, but needs a tutorial level for all the tools, because there are times where I haven't played in a while and I can't remember which tools are supposed to be used on certain levels. And the way the partners are mandatory on some levels needs to change, especially since it takes hours for a partner to be able to be used again, even though I don't even need them at all in the levels where they're required. It's annoying when you don't have many partners to begin with.

No!!!!! The game is being taken off Google store. Even though it has a glitch and you can't upgrade or use the regenerator it is an awesome game. I am going to keep playing too see how far I can get with my low grade equipment and only 2 partners, before it's gone. I love this game. I wish they would come out with a Amateur Surgeon 5.

it would have been nice if partners were made optional for all surgeries, waiting for hours for the cooldown is very annoying and some levels are near impossible without partners help. Other than that the game is very satisfying and fun to play.

Its definitely the Amateur Surgeon you remember. Unfortunately they've fallen way too far down the in-app purchases money-grubbing hole. In addition to some actual ads, you are bombarded with in-game "ads", pop-ups, windows, and tickers urging you to make purchases from the shop. Game progress is impeded severely unless you buy buy buy! I stalled out so badly that I got bored and uninstalled. Shame, its creative and fun. I'd rather just buy a good game, or sit through some ads. 2.5 stars

Great game! Always something interesting and quirky to operate on! The controls are great, the graphics as well. Only thing I have to note is how hard it is to get diamonds. Watching an ad gets you 1 and when the Blood Bank is filled you STILL have to pay for it to give you the diamonds. That's the only downfall of the game.

I never really enjoyed mobile games but I venture to say this game is better than some of the games I've bought on a console or pc and this one is free. Hell I don't even mind the microtransactions as you don't really need to pay anything to access the full content; which is more than I can say for some of the newer tittles for console or pc.

Some levels require partners which take hours to recharge and it gets annoying quickly. Especially boss levels that require partners. It is really frustrating when you save up enough gems to use the re-generator and don't get any new partners.

This game is really really really great. I have played it since very long time ago, from the first surgeon to this surgeon. It's really sad to know that you guy took all the games down. But your games are all great games. Very sad that all of it just vanish like it was nothing. I still have and playing it. But some function cant work anymore. Very sad about it. Really hope one day you can put it on again and make it like a good old day. Dont know if you can read this rating anyways.

This is a fun game that can be played especially when you're bored. Interesting that when you start any new level you might need to experiment on how to deal with different type of injuries. Different playing mode also adds to the fun of replaying the same level.

Great game combining the first three A.S. games into one, including all new levels and partners for a fresh experience. There are some in the reviews claiming partners are required, but this only true for boss stages. Of course there is some incentive to spend money but how else are the devs supposed to make their work worth it? It's not invasive with adverts and the gameplay is excellent. what else could you ask for?
