JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR : a Widget Maker for opening up my weather app. On my OREO screen is a huge clock. Below that the day and date. And THEN below that I have "National Weather Service NOAA" displayed from edge to edge. Tapping on that text activates the app normally. If you're into customizing, this thing WORKS. It's not complicated, but it did take 3 or 4 tries to get the end results. Trial and error, deleting, and eventual success took less time than it did to write this review.
Character size and line spacing seem pretty random. I just couldn't get my text to look the way I wanted it, or to make the texts in two different instances of the widget look consistent with each other. This app wouldn't allow me to make a single widget big enough to hold all the text that I wanted to display, which is why two widgets were necessary. I recommend instead using Any Text Widget.
It was a really useful widget feature for organising your homescreen(s), but when you restart your phone a grey box appears in place of your text which reads, "Waiting for the homescreen to update..." and it never updates. So, it's a shame. I've uninstalled it for now, but I'd download it again and upgrade this rating to 5stars if the bug could be fixed.
Worked for about a day, then started displaying a message "Waiting for the lock screen to update". I'm a technology geek, but even I couldn't figure it out, so I took the only option available: DELETE!
Great Application (see Pro, upgraded version if applicable). This is one of my "go to" apps, instead on all my devices as needed. Great when it worked. But stopped loading up after latest software update to my Android phone. Uninstalled and re installed but still the same. Widget removed and now looking for another widget.
Last updated in 2014, but still the best text widget I've found for Android 11, which is quite incredible! I have tried many others.
This app is great except: it doesn't allow you to change font colors... 😫 also the opening ad mentions Launch-X app but the links do not find it or when i search it by name
Do not waste your time. You can't customize the font and all it will ever do is write a single line across the screen. I've written them three times and gotten no response. Terrible product and even worse support.
if anyone knows how to add custom fonts to this app, please post it here. the instructions in the app don't work and i can't get a response from the developer. i see others have had the same issue. thanks.
This used to be my favorite app! Now every time I restart my phone it's stuck in "loading" trust me I want it to continue working but it appears that it won't !
Most phones dont need sd cards anymore because internal storage is big enough. Let us access internal storage to find stored fonts.
It's not rocket science but this app does everything I wanted, including launching an app upon widget press. Congrats to the devs.
No longer shows my text. it's just a widget that says updating or just says amazing text.

After Samsung updates the phone system programs, all widgets are not working
Great app allows use on all pages, not just home.
Has to be reset everytime your phone restarts, loses battery or is turned off

Do not download it does not support new andriod and there is no update since 5 years

Do not like the app at all. If it took my custom text it would not change the color of the text, the spacing or the effect. 5 out of 6 attempts it would say what was on the text box prior to my custom text. Even though that was deleted and it would never change the appearance. Uninstalled sadly. I used to have this app. Got a new phone and reinstalled. I used to love it. Not anymore. Its a shame.
