Amazon Chime

Bugs that i have noticed 1) Messages and calls appear late in the notifications. 2) Even when i pickup call on my laptop the phone keeps ringing. 3) when i click the background apps button i can see two instances of chime one is blank and other is actual one. 4) messages don't instantly load when i open the app. It takes time for connecting and refresh the messages. 5) when i have some text in my textbox and click quote a message, all the message in my textbox gets delete.

I think that chime team is lacking very core Amazon leadership principle which is customer obsession. This app has been very poor both on pc and mobile (especially pc though) without any significant improvements so far. It's lacking so many ease of use features for business that it would be even hard to begin with listing those not to mention stability of app itself despite how simple it is. Overall chime is very pity app. Seriously wish for forced migration to slack..

All of a sudden, without any changes to my phone, the app will no longer open ANY attachment. Error message saying "Unable to open attachment. This device does not have an app available that supports the file format." I have multiple apps installed that can open Excel files, jpegs, etc, but this app is now broken and I can't communicate with my team effectively to do my job properly. That will go in my next bridge.

Even with a high speed internet connectivity, chime doesn't work. It keeps on displaying connecting. Fed up with this issue ..worst app

Wrost app.After connect so much lagging issue and network issue,noise issue is started. Also you can not attach any documents.Zoom is far better than this.

Takes 5 minutes to load if it loads at all. And when it does the pictures are often missing.

I see everyone else is having the same problems as I am. Check your version of this app and the source you are getting your apps from. I've used this product before and this one is not authentic.

Since the latest update, we can't open attachments or add attachments. Called IT, added AEA, but it didn't work. This is a result of the update, not the device. It's unrealistic to push people to Slack when all meetings are held in Chime.

I keep getting signed out frequently without getting notified. Worst experience, since this causes missing calls and messages when you don't even know if you're signed in or not. This has been there for years, don't know why this is not being prioritised to be fixed.

Can't open attachments, the app has to reconnect and reload all messages everytime you open it. Horrible experience, wouldn't use this terrible app if I didn't have to for work.

Screen dims to minimum for no reason. I kept having to hold my phone above my head to trick app into letting me see my screen. It also doesn't block user input when the screen is black making it possible to accidentally mute your peers while trying to wake it from lock.

No update. Just all the links disappeared. Not an issue with caches, checked that. Just gone...

After update I'm getting error message that I do not have an app to support the file format when I try to open any pic attachment. I need to open these for work. Please fix this problem asap. Thank you.

If you want to use this app to communicate when you're not near your workstation then you're pretty much out of luck. Randomly signing you out is the silliest and most impractical security measure I've come across.

It would be nice if I could send files like spreadsheet using this app instead of just pictures

Really awful app. Signal and Google meet, even zoom is better. Chime makes you go through multiple windows to get into a meeting when opening the app. That is the opposite of what u want from a meeting app because you need instant and easy access. It also made me use network data rather than mobile data which is ridiculous for video calling. The whole look and feel is under-par and really needs simplifying

Used 14% of my battery running in the background despite restrictions. Doesn't always show full messages. Opens two app windows.

Very slow, clunky, and often says there's no internet connection.

Fails to connect when using mobile data when everything else (WhatsApp, messenger etc) has no issues. 9 times out of 10 messages don't actually send. During meetings, when someone starts talking it cuts off the first word of what they say, rather annoying when it's a roll call. Rarely get notifications when messages are received, you have to actually open the app to then see a notification dot.

As of lately, getting a pop-up saying that there is no supported app able to view images. Literally every phone comes with an app to view photos, and it's not supported?

The app is very laggy. It lags when scrolling

Even with proper network, where other apps are performing well, its constantly "connecting". I end up force stopping the app. Now the messages thet were in "sending" state, are all gone and I have to retype them. Very bad experience. I am not rating 1 because it gets a lot of stuff done for me and not 3 as it may not get your attention 😁.

Crashing is fixed but the rest is not. When I can join a meeting, the audio was so low I can't hear a thing. Also this app cant seem to make up its mind about the icons. Am I muted or not? And turning on my mic and video by default is a bad idea. let me manually turn those on when it is good. From when I join a meeting to when I can actually mute things is enough time to be disruptive. This app is only effective for text messaging...dont waste your time for conference calling.

You have to pay for premium to make group calls. Why would anyone pay for this? There are hundreds of apps that do this better for free. Wake up.

Needed to inform my manager and team about why I would be absent. Couldn't do that because of this update where you have to log in from an Amazon computer. No point to this app anymore. This has been super inconvenient. Even while onsite, it's a waste of time to have to log in when we need to use the app from our phones to take load quality photos, etc. Please get rid of this issue. Terrible idea.

1. Chat on a group meeting disappears into the aether 2. No task functionality 3. No Library facility on group chats 4. Screen sharing zoom is very clunky 5. There is a massive delay in connecting to calls often up to 7 seconds 6. Picture sending it can't be done directly from app, you have to take something outside and send one at a time. 7. no unread 8. no out of office function Most of these are present on all other apps. Feels like stepping 10 years into the past

I want to like chime, but there are several user issues that make the app unbearable. 1. Loading pics within chat takes far too long to be effective. I'm not talking about a little Impatience either. The wait time is well over a minute on occasion. 2. If a message can't send it simply deletes the entire message. This is absolutely unacceptable. There is important information being shared across this app. When a message goes down, it's infuriating to have to type it a second time. Please fix!!

I am not able to join meeting and nor i am able to hear voices if i join somehow ....every time I click on chats the screen goes complete black...i worked with the same application before November last year but these kind of issues never occurred please fix the bugs so that I can join my meeting

Please fix the update! After the last update it doesn't work properly. I can't add photos or videos and even view any image! Please fix it asap as it's an app for work!
