Amazon DSP: Mentor by eDriving

Absolutely the worst app ever made, the metrics used will grade you inaccurately. It'll hit you for speeding but the problem is they don't have all their maps updated with the correct speed limit. You'll get hard cornering on straight road. The hard acceleration and hard braking won't account for you being safe from avoiding a dangerous situation whether it be an animal in the road or avoiding a car dangerously merging into your lane. If you submit feedback they'll ignore you.

This app needs to be checked. Recently a lot of people have had their fico score drop . Not just a little .... Drastically. On my end nothing has changed from when I had an 850. Just saying there has to be a major glitch. It cannot be a coincidence. There are too many people it's happening to. It's worth checking out. People's jobs are at risk

Way too sensitive on acceleration and speeding and turning and backing up. Accelerating and backing up are key factors of driving any car in general. It would be "unsafe" to not accelerate and make sharp corners and backing up in many circumstances.

This app is absolutely inaccurate and I sent support messages about this.Im not even getting into with this review except to say this app reports inaccuracies constantly.It makes a professional driver that I am look like a rookie I drove semis otr and never had issues with the systems they have in those.Not once for anything.My first day driving a van I get 850 and then it hits me with using my phone while on break.Hard cornering for sharply turning wheels in a culdesac where I had no choice

I guess they improved a little when you provide feedback, but after experiencing a week of false dings through phone manipulation they still just don't seem to care. Pretty soon I started to have the feeling that they'll drop your points on purpose if you're consistent on having 850. I hope the devs fix this issue, soon, everyone is understandably upset because it affects all of our bonuses...

Ive been without a score for a month. Last score I had before mentor started acting retarded was 850. Yesterday morning I log in I finally see a score but its wrong. I only have one violation and thats a stop sign but its the first one since the new camaras been put in. I have no distractions because my camara would have pick that up even if I wasn't getting a mentor score. My phone stays tied down in my truck always been that way. I drive with a DSP for Amazon and I received a hard acceleration deduction, however, I contested the deduction since I was parked at the time when mentor recorded the incident. I provided feedback and contacted customer support, and I will tell you that there response proves that they do not care. I expect the same kind of canned response from them on this post. Just read the responses they give to everyone. Everything I do as an Amazon driver is recorded, so I have proof I was parked. 0 stars.

This app is absolute trash even though you're driving is absolutely safe as you possibly can, you still get hit with stopping too hard, I work for a delivery service partner and this app has cost me more money than I can count.

Sometimes you have to accelerate hard as a driver. Sometimes you must turn your head too LOOK FOR TRAFFIC. This app needs a tremendous overhaul based on real world driving conditions.

Trash app. You get hit with phone manipulation when it's not even your fault. Like a bumpy road or if the phone falls from the phone holder etc. This affects people's score smh.

Constantly this app has dinged me for phone manipulations. For weeks now I've gotten at least one. While going back through some of them. It would appear like at certain times of the day it has dinged me. That to me is a strange occurrence. Or having got dinged at the same stop 2 weeks apart from each other. Please explain to me why in just the last week and a half your app has dinged me for phone manipulations at the same time of day. Your app is woefully inaccurate. Amazon trash this app!!!!

Phone Manipulation!!!! Score fell 34 points from 1 phone manipulation and is on a downward spiral since. I was at 850 for over 3 Months. Every trip since, all have a phone manipulation!!! Now my score is below 800 and is getting lower every trip as if we're playing “LIMBO" I look at the point/time of all the events and don't know how that even happened. I think this absurd app is registering vibrations from the phone holder in a bumpy area of the streets.

It keeps flagging me for phone manipulation when I'll have it in my pocket. I dunno if it's when I reach for the gear shifter to reverse and park, maybe my glasses. Not a single clue but I know that I'm not the one messing up. I want to get the bonus pay as well as routes because they chose a driver with a battery fico score. As well as the fact that I can lose my job since texting and driving is extremely illegal.

App stops running immediately after I enter my login. This started happening after the update.

I figure I will get that same automated response everyone else gets, but this app actually makes people drive worse. While trying to not get hard breaking events you are more likely to fly through yellow lights and run stop signs. This Company should be sued and scrapped. There is no way to argue your dings when you know you haven't been driving unsafe. You are a bain in all drivers who have to use you. Why do you think you have so many 1 star reviews. Sham in you and amazon.

This app is absolutely horrible. Unless you're a delivery company looking for ways to avoid making good on bonuses or other promises made to your drivers. In that scenario it's a great app! False flags are common. Woefully inaccurate. I've intentionally tried to get flagged but didn't get flagged while on the other hand got ten instances of phone manipulation because I was going down a rough dirt road and the phone cradle was bouncing. In the land of epic failures this app is king.

This app exists in a constant state of inconsistency. It depends on what you're driving, what model phone it's being used on and many other variables. I went months with an 850 score and then switched over to new vans and new phones and now I have an extremely hard time getting my score over 700. Nothing it pings you for is clearly defined in the app either so I can't rectify any mistakes because it doesn't tell me what constitutes as a mistake, only what I did wrong. Great programming guys.

This app is terrible. The way they do the scoring is downright mean. Let's say you get a hard braking to avoid a collision because the person in front of you driving braked hard. That will knock 30 points off of your score. Sometimes you have to brake quickly and accelerate fast to avoid collisions but you get marked down for it. I completely understand the mark down for speeding and phone manipulation. But I can't control other drivers actions.

This app is not based on real life applications. I get phone manipulation deductions for ending my route when the van is parked in the parking lot after the end of my shift. The FICO score system does not really prove anything. At some point in you're route you are forced to make u-turn because of the way the stops are made in the Amazon Flex app. Constant u-turns if you follow the order, it's ridiculous, then the mentor app deducts points for that.
