I love Amazon and I loved it's application although it has many less features compared to the web app (e.g., archive an order does not exist of the app). For many weeks, the scrolling of the shopping lists does not work: it scrolls a bit and suddenly it gets stack (I think it is called scrolling anchoring). It is really extra annoying this bug. How long Amazon will take to fix it? Checking internet shows that many many people have this problem. For a company which makes billions, I expect more!
I find it bizarre that I can't manage my Prime membership from the tablet version or purchase some digital software for my PC but I can from the phone version. Printing returns labels are a joke, click the link and it opens the browser and asks you to login to your account. Its a complete mess. Stick to the web page site.
Very very bad seller Darshita Electronics. I was supposed to get my order the day after i placed my order, but 2 days passed, the order is still not dispatched yet. Contacted amazon, they said they can't do a thing, it all depends on the seller. That's the one of many reasons why you should avoid amazon to buy things. Their sellers and customer support is the worst, not to mention the worst packaging.
App initially opens with a blank (white) screen in both this Tablet version (on android 10) as well as on my mobile phone (android 11). Touching the device's back-button reveals the app's first screen as I expected to see it. So what is supposed to be on the blank screen, if anything? Whatever reason (if any) it's there for, it needs to go. Kindly fix this annoyance, please. It makes it look like the app has crashed until you discover the back-button "fix".
Trying to get a straight answer after asking a direct question in customer service chat is impossible. You're transferred and/or disconnected & when transferred they do the same thing until you are disconnected. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. What a joke.
This app for tablet was much better before this new interface , now it has become very complicated and also slow. Amazon fresh is not available on tablet app. and now the fun zone has stopped working
Works pretty well but all of a sudden blocked me from being able to write reviews. I purchase too much stuff not to be able to leave feedback. Most people rely on good detailed feedback for product inquiry. This is a big fail and a tad suspicious.
I don't think I would make a week without Amazon. I'm a prime member that allows me to shop from home and receive my purchases in 48 hours in many cases which has saved me when I've forgotten someone's birthday or waited too long to order my dogs food etc. Along with an Amazon membership there are so many really great extras and services that no other shopping sites offer. In my opinion it is a must have in my busy life!
I have used this app for many purchases and all have been as described and have been with prompt delivery. I am very satisfied with it.
Absolutely useless since update on 01/03/22 opens on a page of adverts, can't find history etc. App description says tap and hold Amazon icon but there isn't an icon on the page.
amazon app has technical glitch. amazon pay and amazon funzone etc have loading issue . the problem is primarily with the amazon mobile website which js opened by the amazon app itself. the same issue is not present when you access the amazon desktop website. The LOADING ISSUE is specifically on the Amazon mobile website. I have complained several times regarding this but there is no resolution. mobile phone numbers that have been previously recharged using amazon are not updated after porting
Customer Service chat is useless! Trying to sort out Prime membership and the agents I'm chatting to kept changing. Then I was asked to email something through and they closed the chat on me while I did that because it was idle for 2 minutes! Over an hour and still no resolution!
I love Amazon!! However I still support local and small businesses too outside Amazon. Amazon makes my life simple for the things I need quickly !! However Etsy's is a second runner up !!🙄😊❤
it is super annoying now there is a currency bug when switch country. if i switch from japan to US, the currency drop down list will not show up, all the products are listed in JPY. if i switch from German to US, the list show up and EUR is listed, and i and change it.
I live 30 miles from the nearest town over 300. I LOVE having access to so much of the world. I grew up in another small town buying our necessities from a Sears catalog. Amazon is sooo handy, they have just about anything and everything and it's only a few days away.
I have the Galaxy Tab S6, but any links to Amazon from a Google search result open in the browser instead of opening the app. I have the tablet version installed. When will a fix be available?
Deliveries are always om time w friendly delivery drivers and customer services returns and there's never a problem getting my full return and I don't drive n live in the country where there's no transportation of any sort so amazon has literally saved my life I buy numerous things from them several times a month and always om.n time w good quality merchandise
The last update prevented the application from opening the links, instead, the links open within the browser. Please fix this issue.
The option for Amazon Smile is not showing under settings for the Amazon for Tablets app. Other people who use the phone app have it, so why can't it be an option for tablets?
Easy to find everything you need without the hassle of going shop to shop, Some prices are slightly higher but there are also plenty of good bargains.
The app is horrible is was pretty bad before but now since the last update instead of just being slow half the features don't even work and pages won't load. When I click on something like a saved for later item in my cart it does nothing intead of bringing up the item and info very frustrating.
Hate that certain words stay stored in the "search history" and there's absolutely no way to remove them. Even Uninstalling and re installing won't help. They're just glitched into the search bar with no way to get rid of it. Frustrating AF!!!
It's a great friggin' app. I wouldn't use Amazon on a mobile device without it! I use it every day. I have no complaints. It's good for Amazon if you use the app instead of a web browse on mobile devices. It's better security for you and Amazon. I wouldn't have room to explain everything. But if you shop by mobile device, you should install this app, or the regular one for phones. This one is the Amazon app for tablets. I really, really like it! It does everything on Amazon!
I HATE THIS APP. It doesn't have a menu where you can see all the categories so it makes browsing items hard. The website let's you see all the categories and is much better. this app is a WASTE of space on your device.
Pls tell how to login if notification is sent to stolen phone which you can't be able to approve that's very poor service, you lost alot of customer who want to spend in your Market this isn't a banking app
This app use to be good, but now it is dreadful to navigate. Half the time it fails to register that I've clicked on something. Even just trying to edit my cart is hard. How am I supposed to purchase anything if I can't add stuff to my cart? I think I'll be taking my hard earned money to a company that actually let's me buy their stuff.
What is even the point of this app if it has less features than the desktop version and it keeps telling me to use the desktop version? Amazon is one of the riches companies in the world and yet it doesn't spend some of its money on making a proper app for their store. This app is just a half baked browser that is made to seem as if it is a native app.
Used to work well - not so good now. I've used this app on all the tablets I've had and, up until recently, never had a problem. Over the past few weeks, the basket section has become barely usable. You can add things and order them, but if you want to see your "saved for later" items or delete/save for later something you have in your basket, you can't. If you want to edit your basket, you need to access via computer - not always practical. Search etc. seems to work OK. The layout is fine.
