i was going to add this to my childs fire tablet, hut after reading the reviews, i see the only way to get amazon to respond to any issues or at all, is by adding CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION to your rating... how comforting!
It was easy to set up and my child loved it
I like how you can hold a word you don't know and it will say it for you. I wish the definition had a speech/read aloud option.
What's going on? The app used to work just fine and now it doesn't let the kids open any books

This app is great for my daughter who has dyslexia. Would love to have it so you could use without the internet.

SPACE MONSTER! I ran out of space on my phone and started trying to find apps I didn't use very often that were taking up the most space. When I deleted this app, it took quite a while and ended up freeing 10 GIGABYTES of data on my MicroSD card. No idea why this app would take up that much space or store that much data but it isn't cool either way.
The interface is just fine. My 10 year old has developmental delays, so this is very good for him to use as a helpful reading tool. The stories are pretty lame, though. Can they not hire some aspiring kid's book authors for cheap? Come on, Amazon. You can do better.

I need a Amazon account
It works fine but I thought this would be a little more interactive, like selecting options for the characters. After a few stories, it got pretty boring for my 8 year old.
It worked great for a while and my youngest loved it. Then all of a sudden the entire story was populating and you couldn't get to the menu to change from reading it to the voices, it would bump right to story menu. Just uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issue. I've cancelled my subscription.
So far so good. Would like to see dates and time it took to read on the parent dashboard along with if they used the read along feature. Son likes it enough that I can get him to read during our various commutes so helps to get in extra reading.
Firat time to try and it kept closing every timw we tried to read. Waste my 2 days of free trial. Need fix it soon
Great idea. I have 3 children and this would be great for them. Unfortunately it crashes constantly. I've already cancelled
Couldn't even get through the free trial. Stories were terrible & the out loud reading was worse. Also couldn't change how to read the story in the app.
I really like this concept but the app keeps force closing. Please fix before my free trial is up. I would hate to start paying for something that doesn't work
Very slow, not engaging. I wanted to like this app. Great idea poorly executed.
The only complaint I have is that you can't use it offline. This would be amazing for long car trips. Wish they would give you an option to download the books you want to read while away from home.
This app is trash. Not ready for Prime Time. Words are consistently mispronounced etc. Garbage.
It crashes. You cant do anythinh with it it just keeps closing

Please fix this application. I thought it was great until it stopped working. Unable to use it in narration mode because the button just keeps sending me back to the main menu.
Seems like a great app, and my 5 year old likes it, but it keeps force stopping...if not resolved i wont keep.
My prekindergartener looooves this app on my android and so far each of these comicbook-like stories. It would be 5 stars except a) it requires internet, and b) it somehow accumulates a ridiculous amount of storage space (especially for requiring the internet). I haven't gotten around to trying it on our amazon tablet, and haven't used it long enough to encounter glitches.
