Amazon Widget

Would be zero stars if possible. The app pops up with notifications on my phone every day, prompting me to sign in to Amazon. I have not given it permission to show notifications. I have blocked it from cellular or WiFi access. I have disabled it, uninstalled it, and turned off auto-update. Guess what? It still, eventually, auto-updates, and pops up with a notification. Absolutely invasive and a violation of my settings.

My phone tells me this is installed, but it is nowhere on my phone. There is no app! What gives? I don't mind the Amazon bloatware as I use Amazon all the time. Verizon had bloatware too, only things I definitely would never use, like an NFL widget. Doesn't matter where you get your phone, there will always be bloatware. I'm just annoyed that I can't actually get the supposedly installed widget!

HORRIBLE! If I could give negative stars, I would. I have gone to all the places and turned off notifications and Still notifications pop up! I have disabled it and still it shows up. I want this trash off my phone

It is a time-wasting, space wasting, unwanted Amazon add-on. Thanks again Amazon for making me not want to use you your services. Your widget is a constant reminder every time I need to buy something that I need to look somewhere else. If I have to look at your bloatware I will shop elsewhere.

I never wanted it. I can only uninstall it through the play store, but the it reappears a day or two later. It keeps sending me annoying notifications. I hate it. I used to like amazon as a company, but starting to hate them as much as microsoft

Invasive annoying app that keeps spamming me with login reminders despite never having an amazon account on phone and never will. I have uninstalled it, turned off auto updates, disabled all amazon related apps on phone and it doesn't even show in my apps list but this thing STILL spams me daily. 0 stars.

This application is GARBAGE. Cannot be uninstalled. Cannot be disabled. Cannot silence notifications. Every day, it nags me to sign into Amazon and buy stuff. It's SO ANNOYING and a complete robbery of a user's ability to manage their phone. I HATE this program and have spent ages trying to figure out how to disable it. I have a Motorola, NOT a Fire phone. Next time I'm in the market for a phone, I will do more research to ensure Amazon has NOTHING to do with the software on it. ZERO out of TEN.

Somebody who personally works on this factually useless and relentlessly invasive widget, explain to me WHY it's still reinstalling regardless of my settings??? Me buying this phone on Amazon is not an excuse. If I set something to NOT automatically install, siphon my data, send notifications, etc, I expect it obey those settings, no exceptions. Unless I mindlessly signed something saying otherwise, this is absolutely non-negotiable. Do not give me some automated or volunteer message either.

Came preinstalled on my phone. Annoying notifications multiple times a day even though I did not give permission for notifications. I can't disable it. I'm not going to buy another phone from Amazon because of this app.

What's new really is unable to turn off any notifications (ads) from amazon widget, so never ever buy an Amazon branded phone, they are lying about their constant bombardment of you with spam. You can not disable or uninstall the widget, but perhaps just root phone and rid yourself of this slime.

When trying to view an item, it won't open it in the Amazon app anymore. It opens in the default web browser. Site opening errors come up. What a mess.

This app is the worst app in existence. It pops up notifications even though they are off and I hate Amazon bloatware. Its enough to make you stop buying from this company. Also they cant make a decent commercial to save their lives, lucky theyre convenient.

0 stars if i could. Like everyone else this app annoys me everyday despite having all notifications blocked and auto update turned off. It doesn't even show that's it's doenloaded in my list of apps! I have never signed into amazon account on phone and never will... Seriously to the makers of this app: Do you really think spam annoying people is going to motivate them to buy off amazon more!???

Amazon widget is an unremovable infection of my unlocked cellphone. It cannot be removed or uninstalled. An UnInstall button appeared once & I pressed it, so now it doesn't appear. Argh!!! It should be illegal for Amazon and carriers to install unremovable software on cellphones, particularly unlocked cellphones that are purchased outright. I can't remove via my cellphone's Settings or Google Play. This is a zero (0) out of 5.

I still get notifications to link my Amazon account even though I've turned notifications off and Uninstalled updates. Not able to uninstall or disable. I don't use amazon on my phone, just on my laptop. Please fix this.

i can't get rid of this app. i uninstall then it's back a day later it installed on its own. i force quit or disable it but then it comes back shortly after. how can i stop the notifications at least? it tells me that i can't stop the notifications. this app is extremely annoying.

Every day i constantly get notifications to sign in to the Amazon widget that i don't need. I read some other reviews that it may be caused because we bought our phones off of Amazon and it auto installs, which strictly might not be legal.

giving this app one star on principle because I can't uninstall it or even turn off notifications. I don't have an Amazon account and I don't want one. stop prompting me to log in.

Like everyone else, cannot get this to stop no matter what workaround or effort is put in to it. Buyer beware if you pick up a phone with any inkling of Amazon on it.

hate this nonsense. don't want to use my phone for this purpose, can't uninstall it, or disable the daily insistence that I log on to my Amazon account! this is what you get when you buy your phone from Amazon!

Terrible - one word sums it up: "bloatware". Drains the battery, takes up memory... annoying.. UNWANTED & NO WAY to uninstall it. Amazon is EVIL!

Very sick of it asking me to log into my account ! I don't use Amazon !! Update: no change, garbage pop ups and always asking me to log in...too pushy ! I'll never use your app, Amazon...NEVER !

I cannot uninstall this app and it sends me unwanted notifications daily, which my phone won't allow me to stop. I am so frustrated with this app that I actively avoid using Amazon because of it.

i just don't understand why this app was pre-installed in my phone & pre-installed apps cannot be uninnstalled so i have disabled it even after disabling it uses big amount of internal storage.....😡

It would not let me turn off notifications. It was draining my battery. I don't use Amazon with any phone.

Cannot remove, keeps showing annoying notification on lock screen. Cannot disable notifications either. Pure bloatware.
