Ambient Temperature - Galaxy

This is a free (no ads or permissions!) and very lightweight app for displaying the ambient temperature of your Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3. (Does not work on S4 Active, since it does not have the sensor)
This app will always be free, with NO ads, however, if you would like to show your support for my work, you can get the Donate version of this app (with the purple icon). That would motivate me a lot to improve the app with new features, and help me pay the server rent :)

This does NOT register battery temperature, but the temperature from the devices' own sensor! (room temperature)It will also record the maximum and minimum values (can be reset from the menu).

It has the basic bare bones but it would be nice if it could log temps over time and create a csv file for observation of temperatures over a period because I'd like to know that about my home. Useful to also have a humidity adjusted temp.
Gives me an error on my brand new AT&T Galaxy S5 that it does not have a built in Ambient Temperature sensor.
This app stopped working after the recent update. 5 stars to 1 star
latest version, compared to a manual room thermometer is about 2 degrees warmer.
I was looking for an accurate temperature where I was at, this does it. It would be nice to have auto update intervals and black shadow or outline on text for light wallpaper. However it is black after a phone restart and I have to delete it and re-add it to my screen.
Works fine and accurately, I have cross checked it with built in application. Nice job man 😎
Works well on my gakaxy s4...maybe reads a little too warm but I believe the battery heat is why that may be. Overall pretty neat.
I tested it by putting (Galaxy S4) in my fridge and sure enough it worked. It took about 7 mins to get from ambient room temp to 6°C, so it's a bit like classic mercury based thermometers but my tests so far seem to suggest it works.
The widgets update on touch. What I would like to see besides what is already is some transparency or some skins. Don't change the programming it's good as it is.
Its accurate but it takes long time 7 to 10 min show real temp . I have galaxy s4 . Maybe it's my mobile hardware problem
It would be nice if we could see the max and min values of the last 24 hours.
The addition of max/min and a 24 hour (user defined lengh) history graph would be nice. The widget is great as it is, although some additional customisation options wouldn't hurt.
Does not work. I only get a gray screen and nothing else. Un installed
Grossly overestimates (by c. 7 degrees C ) ambient temperature
Widget constantly gets stuck, otherwise is an acceptable app.
Show mobile temp. Not ambient.
What I would like to see is an auto update on home screen widget. This could be a choice from 30 sec to 1 hr. Perhaps.... 30 sec, 1 min, 5 mins, 15 mins, 30 mins or 1 hr. That way if I unlock screen to check temp, I could know within 30 sec what temp is. This would alleviate me from trying to push icon for update with trying not to touch phone so much. This would certainly make it worthy of 5 stars and donation! Thank You! Also, I am used to inhg on Barometer, so a choice of Barometer Display would be nice!
Couldn't ask for more. Accurate with a 1x2 widget that's transparent (or black) that adopted my faunt for a great look!

Accurate. Hope this would have included low or high temperature warning as well.
Opens without a problem and gets right to it. Pretty accurate too.

Sometime it gives false result but I guess because my phone was in my pocket otherwise its clean and nice

You don't need this if you have an S4. The walk mate app that comes with your S4 has a comfort option feature that tells you what the temperature and humidity is of your surroundings. I totaly forgot about it and downloaded this app instead. It's ok. It's easy to use. Nothing much to it. Btw, your phone needs to have ambient sensors for it to work. Not all phones do. The S4 does have these sensors.
