Amcrest Link for 960H DVRs

Less than optimal. It's difficult to select playback times to the minute, the slide bar moves too much. Aside from the app, the customer service isn't great at all and the system I had lasted only 6 months before the cameras stopped working correctly. I wouldn't recommend this product or others if you may ever need service or support.

Dropping to 1 star. No updates since fall 2016. Not compatible with new types of devices. They've clearly given up on this app, which is infuriating for those of us who continue to use their hardware. I won't be one of those much longer. If I can't expect continued support for a system I continually put my money into, then they can't expect continued support from me, and you'd be better off looking into a different solution as well. Come spring time, I am replacing my entire 8 camera system.

(Samsung S8+) Don't ofter review apps but this one is getting annoying. I continue to get notifications by my phone that this app has been monitored accessing the cameras on my phone. I turned off the camera and microphone permissions for this app and I just received another notification saying that amcrest is accessing my camera even though the permissions are turned off. This seems like a security issue and considering this is a security system app it doesn't give me confidence in the company.

not reliable, if you are away from home you might get connected 1 out of 10. wish the apps get updated for better connection. I tried on three different phones same result.

This app used to be so great now it does not function right,cannot watch individual caneras,always times out... I hope they fix this issue! update,working much better and consistent with images.

I'm stuck, my DVR is running fine but the app wont login keeps telling me login failed. I didnt have trouble until today when internet tech came and installed new router. the system works fine but the app wont work. I've tried all I know to do. I need the app.

It connects about 20% of the time. The remaining 80% of connection attempts timeout. I also have several Nexia cameras and NEVER have any problems connecting to those cams.

At first I loved these cameras. But haven't been able to access the app in months or even log in at home to play back recorded video. I get notifications constantly that Amcrest in accessing my phones camera. Someone needs to fix this issue!

Why are ya'll not fixing these problems? Will not log in. I have a note 10. App worked great for the longest time. I don't like to complain so I was waiting to see if ya'll were going to fix it especially after all the other complaints but I guess not.

great when it works half the time the app "fails to login" which is really frustrating when you are on the go and need to check on things. This app needs an update.

This is one VERY complicated app!! Installed on my device but it won't open. Waste of time.

I had problems setting up my cameras I called customer service had to leave a message. customer service called right back and help me set my cameras up and everythng is great loved it. works just as expected wouldn't Trade-It recommended

Very frustrating app. Can't login remotely. Sometimes works, sometimes not. Need to update the app!

Worthless. Logs you out each time you exit, and good luck trying to log back in without 15 tries. So frustrating

Will not login unless I have almost perfect service. If I attempt to make any changes app will just close. Cannot change from to 12 hour clock only 24 hour.

Never works unless connected to wifi. If used LTE with full bars it will still not work.

Can't seem to be able to view my cameras unless I'm at home, defeating the reason for the app to begin with.. can't we to get proper help from tech either.. pfft

Try to playback and it keeps kicking me back to the hour. So if I try to play back something at 10:45 it kicks me to 10 no matter what I try.

Seems to work well enough when I'm at home, but it always says "Login failed" when I try to view my cameras remotely.

Won't connect on my phone anymore. Keeps saying device already exists. Fix your app amcrest. It's how I keep my family safe!!!

app fails alot 8 out of 10 times please fix. very frustrating for the money I've spent on the camera system.

Will only connect when i have a strong internet connection and even when I have a strong connection i still have to pause my vpn (sometimes) in order to connect

"login failed" every other time, even though my login is fine. no updates to fix either!!!

My login keeps failing no matter what i do! I even removed the unit cover and did a complete system reset.

Worked fine then randomly stopped wont log in. Have tried everything and am having the same problem.

Horrible app just easier to buy a new system im going with a different brand
