Not connecting anymore and a reset fixed nothing! Had issue not telling me when motion was detected and prior it alerted me to motion detected every 10 seconds when working in front of the camera very annoying. Now I can't see live view can't check camera anytime I want. It recognizes the camera when I reset everything and it said it connected over the wifi setup, but when I go to live view it says it failed to connect. Unplug, reset, uninstall, reconfigure and nothing changed. Very frustrating!

It is 4/25 and still no resolution since 2/25. Several key features were lost with Feb 25 update rendering app useless to me, over a month and still no fix. Push notifications show 20 sec pre record and 40 sec of event and can't be changed, Randomly turns off notifications, fast forward freezes video. Finally able to save MP4 videos.

App works good to view cameras, not so good with audio. If both the mic and the speaker is on at the same time, you get feedback. It takes too long to turn both on and off the talk to someone. One button you press to talk would be much better.

Ever since last update, can't save video files anymore. It will save them to the app, but after export they don't exist. No longer saves the vids to my snapshot folder. Update, they fixed the download issue on 4-15-22. Now saves mp4 to downloads instead of snapshot. Thank you!

Update made it impossible to email a saved snapshot or event video. Now says: File missing or deleted. Image can be seen, but no idea where it is stored. Samsung file manager cannot find it. April 12 update fixed this issue! All good again. Thanks!

I've been using this for years and it worked flawlessly. They doing update and now I need a password to get into the application which I don't have, never set one up never asked me for one when I originally downloaded this. Can't access my cameras through my phone using this app. I can use it through my tablet which is a Samsung. I uninstalled it from my phone reinstalled it now it only goes to the Privacy disclaimer and does nothing to continue with loading it or using it. 17 cameras useless

Dear Amcrest. I'm starting to fear your updates to this app. First, I can not export any video clips to any phone gallery or even Google Photos. This feature used to work just fine. Second, to see the live view on my phone takes forever. That little circle keeps spinning and spinning. Same for notifications. Live view does work, but it takes just too much time. I have 8 cameras, 3 different models. They all act the same. So this is definately an app issue. Android 10.

I've had this camera for several years and it works as good now as the day I set it up. My only problem is when I added a new phone an operator error occurred (couldn't find user name and password), after an extensive search I found it and within minutes had new phone added. Good product with excellent features. The price is still very reasonable.

Please release a software update, motion detection used to work but now it doesn't record every motion. Keeps missing half day's worth of motion detection. Have tried all troubleshooting but to no avail. Very unhappy with this app. Customer service is non existent, keep being told someone from USA will call back, but no one does. Third party apps are better than this. Either fix up or just say this is how it is. I use my camera for security reasons and this is causing me great distress.

Used to work great, but all the changes to app has rendered cameras useless for security. Motion detection works but no longer records video. Been round and round with support had no luck.

It's Not my phone or my issue, It's the app! They will reply here acting as if they don't understand to get you to open a support ticket. We see right through this tactic devs Updated app in May, and now it takes a looooonnnnngggg time to connect. See the spinning circle for at least 40 sec to 2 min or more now. So devs obviously disabled something. Can you please fix it and check before releasing an update. This is for a security camera that now has no security if I can't actually see it. SMH!

App times out after 5-10 minutes. The the screen goes black & a swirly circle appears. You have to press the circle to restart the live view. Im using a Samsung T377A for this app. Ive turned of the system time out feature.

It says simple and reliable. Starts up once every 10 tries. Simple it is not, to many function to be simple, and reliable no, like I said at the beginning.

App works fine if only I can connect to my device. Every time you update this app it gets worse and worse. Put the old version from 2 or 3 years ago back up!!!!

Update since I first used this application a while back. Many improvements have been made over the years however some features remain buggy. Also would like to see a process improvement for app pasword. Perfer finger print over password as their sister partner FOSCAM already incorporates into their app. With todays cyber awareness like to know if this app is config for HTTP or HTTPS. Yes the web browser can be set up for HTTPS but why have an app if it is not fully exploited. Cyber awareness...

It worked great for 3 years or so. Updated app in early March 2022; now it won't work at all. Messaged for support, the only response is to be patient. No link or info was given for the old version. Hey Amcrest!!!! Just put old version back out until y'all fix this debacle!!!! Now, I'm looking into purchasing a different brand DVR!!

Had this in my business and recent update rendered it useless. This app has always had bugs which is unfortunate because the camera has been solid. Already switched vendors for our business camera.

Update: SMD is now on Android and so far it's working well. Except the AI can't separate human vs animal so I get notifications for animals now. Still a huge improvement over just motion detection. App recently started throwing out bug issue and force close itself. Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

Great app but it won't show the recorded video on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10รท. I already filed a bug report but the developers can't resolve my issue! *** Update: recorded video now shows on my new Samsung S22 Ultra.

It's...just ok. Often times, I cannot successfully connect to the NVR to view the footage of a motion alert when I open the push notification. I have to close the app, and navigate to the notification list.
