5/13/22 So, even with a new update, this app still does not work at all. I go to log in, and it acts like it works, but then it takes you right to the log-in screen, and then you can't do anything. You would think for the money that they charge for service, they could have a better app.
This app just gets worse and even more worse with every update. Now I can't log in at all. When I log in it just brings me in a loop back to the log in page over and over and nothing more happens. Will be using the mobile online site til you build and offer a better and proper app. This current app is now completely and impossibly useless and just takes up space on my phone otherwise.
When opening the app, and signing in, the app just keeps restarting itself. No matter if I delete the app and reinstall it, it continues to do the same thing. Personally, I think and believe that this app is completely useless. It's better if you just go to the website and login.
Rarely works. I've been trying to use this app on and off for years and I still end up having to use the website. The app crashes, causes my phone to go haywire, can't log me in due to an "error" or just plain won't work.
It will not load accounts . All worked fine until the last update. When I click on the account I want to pay it said it cannot connect to that account. I've reinstalled and still get the pop up error. Just need to pay the bill and it wont load my accounts.
Oof where to begin. Buttons decide when they want to work (which is almost never); if you have the patience to spastically hit buttons for 5-20 seconds you might be able to set up biometric login- but this is arbitrary as it'll just keep prompting you for a fingerprint over and over for, I'm assuming, forever; finally, if you go about it the old fashioned way and just enter your name and PW, it will absolutely never ever ever work. Just get on the mobile site, where the glitches are predictable.
The fact that they have no graphs from smart meters in the app makes it useless. Smaller co-ops we've had for power do a much better job with the technology.
I love using this app. So easy to navigate. I am able to manage my account and my mom's account to ensure the bill is paid on time. The Ameren alerts are a nice evening feature to keep up to date on outages. I highly recommend this app!
Since the UI overhaul, the majority of the buttons don't work anymore. As in the login button, and the "maybe later" button when it prompts for biometric auth. Despite closing and reopening the app multiple times I haven't been able to test much else because i can't navigate anywhere.
All it does is flicker. If you press the login button repeatedly you can log in but then it just sits there and loads. Useless.
It makes the top bar on the screen flicker in and out. As well as randomly kicking me off the app. I'd rather use the web site
This is the glitchiest app I have ever used. I can rarely get the log in button to work. The 1 in 50 times it actually works, I try to log in, put in my credentials and it takes me right back to the log in screen to start all over again!! What ever you did to "update" the app absolutely ruined it 😡
Not compatible with Android 12. Display simply glitches on and off the app is completely unusable and should not even be published.
30 DEC 2021: Almost a year later and this app still isn't fixed. I wish I could give a zero rating for this garbage app. Deleting! 10 JAN 2021: I haven't been able to use this app since it was "upgraded", for this and the last few bill. Apparently, it's not an issue on the customers end. I hope this is fixed soon.
What the hell did you people do to this app? No connection. Only this that happens is a "something went wrong" pops up. I have a new phone and 2 other older phones with the same problem so I know it's not the phone.
This app is broken once again! Fix it! It says it is unable to retrieve the data for my account it says it every time I get on the app right after the login.
The update broke the entire app. Won't even allow me to log in. Log in button just refreshes the app main screen. Was fine before that.
App worked great until I updated it today. After the update, I restarted my phone. I still cannot access any of my accounts. Please fix.
Same problem most have been having. Go to login, enter information, it then sends me back to the app where it does nothing except ask for me to login or register. This has been going on for months and not changed, getting to be frustrating now... Edit: Just did an update for the app and it still won't let me login on the app. I have been having to use the web page for months now...
I literally pay for adobe acrobat monthly and have the latest version of acrobat reader on my phone. So, when I attempt to download and view my billing statement as a PDF, why does the ameren app give me a message that says I don't have an app that supports viewing that kind of a document? Yes, I do. This ameren app is a joke. It's not user-friendly at all. It exists to serve one purpose, take our money. If I didn't have to have ameren as my energy provider, I wouldn't. Do better.
Non-functional. Always loops on login page even after clearing cache/data and uninstalling/reinstalling. Can never get last login. Either login form isn't displayed at all, or form is displayed and credentials accepted but you are looped to main lage anyway.
The app can't find my most recent bill statement and has now started glitching so bad that I have to uninstall it. Great🙄
When I enter my login creds it begins to load and navigates me to the green ameren loading screen then takes me back to the login/home page without completing login. I see the note about "registering a new userid and password since the update". But every time i go to do that it says my userid exists already and no I dont want to use any email other than the one I've been using. There's a reason I used it.
I pay my bill with a credit card and 3/4 of the time it won't connect to speed pay, buttons don't work half the time. No tech support to speak of.
I can't even log in on my phone to pay my bill, I likes not having to boot up my PC to do this but after the recent updates the app doesn't work. Update Nov 1+ STILL DOESNT WORK Update December 22 STILL DOESNT BLOODY WORK, ITS WORSE NOW WHERE IT SPAMS ASKING FOR MY FINGERPRINT OR PIN!? 03/10/2022 - Still broken, when will y'all update it to work again?
Horrible!! Tried several times to use this app, but it took over my phone!! Caused my phone to rapidly flash and I couldn't close the app because of it, I had to restart my phone to get out of it. This app should not be available to the public!!
Been a good app, thus far, for information and setting everything up. Even allows you to fully register your phone number in order to receive outage reports, via text, for your area based on your bill.
