The three stars I gave have nothing to do with the functionality of the app, it runs smooth. There are just a few bugs that are still present and I wish there were a few more features available and accessible. Besides the above mentioned items this is a nice app that runs smooth. (Almost a four star rating.)
The use of the AFCU app allows me to use the credit union for my financial services needs from all over the world 🌎 at the tip of my phone 📱 with ease. It's very intuitive and I can do whatever I need to do minus wire transfers which would be the only thing I could think would be a nice add. Great job on the app.👍
I've had this app for about 3 year now and like it. The only issue is when you do mobile deposits. Every time, and I mean every, I get an error message saying, "the front of the check appears to be upside down." And then when you do the reverse side, you get an error message saying, "it doesn't appear the check is endorsed."
Props to the new update! Especially the dark mode. I've criticized many app redesign, but this one looks and feels great! My only complaint is that I've found a few error codes, but there's usually a few wrinkles with a major update like this.
Great. But I can't change the way my accounts are listed. You also cannot do transfers within the app. You must use the website. They did an upgrade 4.6.22? Much easier to navigate. Better menus. I'd still like to change the order my accounts are listed. Woof!
I had this set rated 5 stars, but it forced me to update 2 days ago & after the update it won't allow me to use the finger print log in. I have had this app for over 3 years, using the fingerprint login the whole time....i can't remember my username or password at this point & there is no option to look up by email or account number. Says i have to call in, so frustrating!
This app saves so much time and when combined with the card guard app it keeps all of your money safe and secure so you can spend it on your terms ONLY! It's amazing! I had a bank before but now, my credit is climbing drastically, and I don't get all those stupid fees for stupid things! I suggest that if you haven't gotten both of these apps and actually have america first... DO IT NOW. IT WILL BE THE SMARTEST CHOICE YOU WILL MAKE FOR YOUR MONEY! it shows your budget, spending habits; MUCH more!
I rely heavily on being able to change the acct. names. the new update doesn't allow it at all. The help notes states it can be done but the menu link and acct edit link it says exists doesn't. It's not a major issue. But I'm very anoyed by it.
It's a good app. Even better credit union. I've had 6 different loans/credit cards through these guys, with outstanding rates and limits. Can't say enough about AFCU. The app allows you to do pretty much anything you need to get done.
This app is amazing it shows me all my transactions at what time precisely I made the transaction and it's very easy to use and one of the most convenient things is when I lose my credit or debit card I can just deactivate it from my phone and get a new one shipped to my house from the app it really is amazing I have tried other Banks like mountain America and Central Bank and none of these are as good
New app crashes (screen flashing) every time I try to login with biometrics. It also showed accounts as "past due" on the actual payment due date even though they are on autopay and paid on the next business day.
It usually works pretty well but the past few days it doesn't open. I try to log in & it just gives a white screen & won't let me hit the X at the top to exit the app. I have to clear all my apps to close it.
The app is easy to navigate. The one thing i think that would really be helpful is to be able to control your cards from the app and online banking. It would help to be able to put an amount on purchases and withdraws from the atm. Also to be able to put a lock on the card if needed one that could be changed without reporting it lost or stolen. If we could change the pin number online and in app that would be very helpful. Thank you
This is by far the best mobile banking app I've ever used! It is so easy and intuitive and helpful. I can see all my accounts, even ones from other banks that I have linked because I like this app better. Making transfers, paying bills, and even sending money through Zelle are all made super easy in this app. I love the budgeting tools and categorizing purchases is easy and helpful. Great job America First! Mobile banking has never been easier, and I literally check it every day cause it's fun!
This app is the best I've used. The Card Guard is an awesome tool to have. The one thing I like is being able to add an outside account. Sync feature is awesome. I also like the budget for spending.
I would rate this a zero if I could. I love love love America First Credit Union, but this app boils my blood. It shows balance after pending charges and even with all of my charges pending being shown, once they post; my $ is NEVER correct, it is always less.
Does everything I need simply and flawlessly. Better than the app my wife uses from her financial institution. Way ahead of the usefulness of hers, and accurate and has lots of great planning or financial tool's and the other people are not getting the consistent updated version or anything that changes to even notice. Her's is the same as when I was using it almost 5 years ago and I was just trying to compare the overall services for a while to consider a change, but I don't think so.
If I could give it a zero I would. Apparently someone decided the app that was easy to use should become completely & totally useless. Why is it when you have an app that is functional it gets impossible to use. Might be time to find a new bank!!
Great user-friendly app! Check account balances, make payments, and everything going on in your accounts at your fingertips. Biometric security in this app makes accessibility quick and secure when you need it open fast. I love America First Credit Union, and I'm a resident in Orange County, California.
The app works great, almost all the time. I really like the budgeting and spending features to see where my money really goes. I docked one star because it was difficult to link my Discover card account information to this app, but I got it working eventually and it's really convenient to have it all in one place.
Don't have a Checking or Savings account with AFCU. I do have a Auto Loan and can't make a payment on the app. I have to go to the AFCU website. Would be very beneficial if I could just do it on the app.
Great working app. Only thing I would suggest in changing is adding a notifications setting. Getting a balance update with every purchase is a nice way to keep things in order.
Very user friendly and intuitive, really appreciate the biometric login, tons of options. Only wish I could cash checks with it but maybe I just couldn't figure out how and quickly access my flagged charges so I don't have to scroll through search for them but that's nitpicking.
Although not my style, I eventually will get used to the new interface. What I am disappointed in is the failure to retain the search function -- we should have the ability to search transactions by payee, check number, amount, etc., like we've been able to do for years. Upgrades should not result in a less intuitive interface.
