Good maps and info. Hard to find your way around the app. Changing parks is difficult.
It's a nice way to learn about the park before you get there. Once you get there the paper copy is all you need. It did take me awhile to figure out you have to delete information to download a different park.
I can download all the maps I want, but is stuck on Congaree NP. If this is the only pace you want to go then your covered! Otherwise this is a useless app.
Can't find my way around this app. I'll stick to the paper maps they hand me when I go in to a park. 😕
Maybe too much info, but with a little patience, everything you need to know is here.
Not user friendly and cannot store more than one map at a time
To difficult to use. Very poor user interface.
I enjoy couch hiking since my knees are gone.
Just use the free maps.
Hard to use, website is better
I downloaded this to prepare for a trip I am taking I did Yellowstone National Park, Grand Tetons, Grand Canyon. The only map that comes up is Grand Tetons. I dont know hos to change maps. The map I can get to is very nice and informative but I woulclike to bd able to move between thdm to plan.
It's a great app, but it started running behind the scenes without me started it and it burned through 18.5 GB in 6 days! Crap, I can't afford ANY app that works like that! I'll figure out how to live without it!
Pretty cool for a computer guy.
Ill be the first to download the national forest app
Great and love it!
Just downloaded this app and looks like a great addition for hiking the national parks. At Windcave Ntl, rather small place but looks like it has everything and love the way you can switch to Google satelllite and terrain maps with locator. Cant wait to try it tomorrow onthe trail!
It is not up to date it has information for mammoth cave of 2012 when it is now summer 2015
When. The app opens there is a list of parks, when I click anything on that list the app crashes
There is a lot to like about his app, however the in-app purchased topo maps for Shenandoah NP did not actually cover the park . The USGS map tiles sold as "Shenandoah Topos" are for the area to the west of the park making it useless. This was brought to the attention of the developer, who (I hope) is actively fixing this. Until that occurs I have to not recommend this app. UPDATE: The developer was responsive and eager to fix the data to make his product as good as it could be. The issue has been resolved and I've adjusted the star rating accordingly. Give this app a try if you're planning on visiting one of the parks!
Just got this and checked out a park I visit regularly. .so far accurate. .i like it alot
Solid info on national park system. Saw one review complaining about lack of coverage of the Adirondacks - but that's a state park (actually a state forest reserve), so of course it's not covered by an app devoted to the national park system. If you're looking for a good overview of national park service lands, this is a good start.
After upgrading from a Droid X to a Razor, this program works much better. Downloads take a long time but the maps have nice detail.
Awesome App. Really enjoy the maps. Havent purchased topo yet, so dont know quality, but they are cheaper than in stores.
Downloaded some maps and cant seem to find The option to see the other maps, I Am stuck with One map.
Wll get 5 stars when all of the national parks are available. BTW, the Adirondacks is a STATE park so it won't be on a NATIONAL park app.
stock at start up, kept saying no network while i was connected to wifi
This looks like it will be a great app. The only problem I have is that after I downloaded one map I can no longer get back to the list of parks. If this is possible please make the option more evident or fix this error.
Will only show me a map of Carlsbad Caverns. Uninstalling.
very informative and good maps
