American Civil War (free)
You are in the command of the Confederate armies during the American Civil War. The object of the game is to conquer the Union or at least hold on to as much area as possible until the year 1866. To have a chance to seize the top spot in the Hall of Fame you need to skillfully encircle scores of Union units, while trying to deal with the meager Confederate resources.

In order to be a victorious general, you must learn to coordinate your attacks in two ways. First, as adjacent units give support to an attacking unit, keep your units in groups in order to gain local superiority. Secondly, it is rarely the best idea to use brute force when it is possible to encircle the enemy and cut off its supply lines instead.

It is way to hard. I haven't won yet and the Union seems to have stupid advantages that I can't compete against. There should be an easy medium and hard mode. But it is a fun game!
it is way to hard i can not win one yet and i have tried all kind of ways and nothing works. lol and this game is a paid game it is not worth the money.

I refuse to play as the scum bag confederates fighting for the oppression of another race. I'm good. I'll just give it 3 stars as a neutral rating.

Love the south
In depth but difficult. Realistic in regards to the South being at a disadvantage in the war.
When I was a child I played with games , but when I became a man, I put away childish things
I only got 15 turns. It is impossible to win on 15 turns.

Waste of time. Movements are clunky or inoperable, northern units are always at an advantage and it's almost impossible to beat a unit without completely surrounding it. Meanwhile your units get demolished even when they are on the defensive on the high ground! Glad it was free
