American Dad! Apocalypse Soon

First impression: very well done, funny, and a welcome change from my vaults in another game. Then... it grounded to an halt. Just about every developer reply to reviews of this game stresses that "In-game purchases are optional", and they often are in a game of this type. But without those "optional" purchases, after a fun start, everything becomes painfully slow. Every upgrade to a room costs dozens, if not hundreds of thousands of in-game currency, but it takes literally at least half a day to mint 10000. Oh, you can earn money in battles too, but after a while, I'm just stuck at always losing the same one, because my fighters are too weak, and at $10000 minted every six hours, I might as well relaunch the game in one week to pay for the upgrades I need to level my characters. Wait, no: the free system to auto-gather production only last 3 days, after which I'll have to launch the game every 4 minutes if I want to get any money. So yes, purchases are optional, if you're OK with the idea of looking at the screen without doing anything for several hours at a time.

The support for this game is atrocious. They never admit a mistake or wrongdoing, even when presented with evidence. And I have a lot of screens, and clips to verify serious issues. I receive responses like, "this is not an error, it's an image that needs updated." What does that even mean? There is a new gear set for engineers, and it doesn't receive the buffs all other engineers in your squad get from hero perks (ERROR). They refuse to refund money lost from THEIR mistakes. Proof is available.

Keeps crashing. Way over priced. It takes way too long to build anything or train Rogers. You get gear you can't use because the level is so high. PVP is based off trophies, not level, so you get paired with people more than 10x stronger than you. You end up not being able to do anything. The battle strength also doesn't really represent your strength. At 480k you can still lose to someone in the 200k. Reached out to support and was told these weren't issues.

it's fun but there is so much pay to play and the cost isnt cheap. you can play without paying but itll mean waiting a day per upgrade thats getting the resources and the upgrade itself. I just started so I cant imagine the wait times later on.

Love the game overall; however, I have been reporting an issue which has been ongoing since December that the game has been randomly freezing right before a fight starts. Bazooka Sharks Nest fight freezes are the most frustrating as they are automatic loses meaning wasted resources. I have lost millions of pies in BSN because of this and have not been offered any compensation. Edit: What kind of a canned response is this? I already detailed the problem that's been reported to support.

Bought golden turds which I've never done before and one day I woke up to find that the majority of then were used while I was asleep. I didn't even know what they were spent on while playing turns out apparently I used them to upgrade my situation room instantly. I didn't do that so I asked if anything could be done about it and I was told no, not even a partial refund for what was used for no reason. I asked if it could be undone, nope. Never buying from this app again.

Love the game & please make quests that the clan can do together like hustle castle does or anything else &maybe more rooms as well as letting us choose whether we want to use the stupid look of the gear 4 the identity 4 sr11 or use our gear look that we worked hard 4 during events like a button to flip back & forth would b nice..other then that it's awesome game besides the constant game crashes that we have to always restart game wh8ch idc cuz I love it but others do &might not

DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!! The support team is not there to help with thier own internal glitches. Nothing is their fault if something is not working. Non-stop issues. They will not help you And will just blame on for nor playing their game how they want you to play it.

Got a brand new galaxy 22 ultra phone. This is the only app/game that still crashes constantly. It will just freeze while trying to load. It is not my phone but their poor game programming. Leaving game soon if not addressed. Only reason still playing are my in game friends. I have to force close and reopen game about once every ten minutes. Pathetic. Avoid game!

This game used to be way better and would've given 5 stars but now I'm getting attacked up to 10 times a day and can nvr earn enough to upgrade anything because just when you get close, you get attacked over and over and lose all your money, wood and uranium but since the last update I am reading it for stars they have made it a little more bearable and you still do get attacked but it's only up to 5 times a day and even that is a lot it's usually only one or two so it has got a lot better

Overall a good game, great graphics and interesting gameplay. I rate it 4star instead of 5star because, right now I was busy playing the little mini game that popped up and while trying to figure out the puzzle it gave me a black screen, i couldn't see anything, please fix this problem and I will update to a 5star.

really enjoy the game and how its different from other hit show games. only thing id like to be able to fo is send items to other players in my clan. i would much rather send legendary items i cant use to someone that can than dismantle the. to be honest.

I cannot get past the loading screen before it freezes, just like the family guy game. It defenitly seems like a very fun and exciting game knowingly I am a fan of the series, on the other hand just wishing I could play it. I would LOVE to give the game a 5 star rating if I could experience it. ( I don't know if this is why it does not work but I use Chromebook )

Pretty entertaining game, has some interesting resources and the only thing to hate its that after the tutorial phase of the game structures and upgrades takes hours to complete and even that its not an energy based game, its a food one, and almost feels like one. It is ejoyable tho so have fun.

After spending a fair amount of money on this game, recent changes have meant continual crashes and freezes. It's been a few months of this now. I've informed the devs but they are not interested in the issue, nor are they willing to entertain any form of minimal compensation for money/resources lost. I've therefore stopped playing, and know that due to the issues many other people are now doing the same. This is a game that will take your money and run.

Great game. It takes real long to get somewhere. No doubt. But if u have any problems developer crew dont hesitate to fix. Any tips. They dont hesitate to include. Great game. Great team. Great shown my favorite of all time. Thx guys

Yes this game has similarities to fallout shelter but, there are differences. You don't have to worry about losing electricity, food, or water.. you get pvp. You still train your units and generate resources, you have more gear options, you have tournaments, you can have friends (though it could be more clear on how to add them for newer players) and a clan system. Also, the packs are very reasonably priced most of the time, VIP is cheap, and you can get free turds (gems).

game keeps freezing up and booting me off and then It takes multiple tries to log back on. This has been an ongoing issue. In addition, most of the time I have to watch an ad twice (if it doesnt freeze up) to get my reward. Every time that theres an update the bugs seem to get worse. The sad part about this is that support does not seem to care. I get the same resonce everytime I report these issues. They say that they use an ad agency and that these issues are beyond their controle...whatever.

Pretty fun game, there are a lot of points where you have to stop progressing in the story for a few days or even a week to level up your house and characters before you're able to continue though. So far the most annoying thing I've noticed is that sometimes after you complete the daily minigame the game crashes or just wont let you exit the minigame screen, but other than that it's a good game.

It's a knock off of fallout shelter, which is fine. I like variety. But where they failed to capture the spirit of fallout shelter, is that after an hour locked into the tutorial - only allowed to click on whatever they want and not allowed to explore at all, i am literally too bored to play the game. Fallout shelter at least let's you play the game.

Unfortunately, I'm about to uninstall. Despite linking game, broke my phone and data did not transfer. After spending $20 and putting in a bunch of time, reaching lvl 15 and fighters at 133k over the last two weeks, I just don't think I have the emotional fortitude to start over. Good game though

I enjoy that there's a ton to do in the end game. This game takes time and has a lot of opportunity to entertain through all levels of the content itself. I have been playing for 1 year almost and I definitely recommend.

I had 15500 golden turds (in game currency), which costs over $150 to purchase vanish from my game! In game support were extremely unhelpful in resolving my issue! They tried to tell me I spent them when I was sound asleep at the time. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY IN GAME! DONT EXPECT HELP FROM SUPPORT THEY WILL LIE AND SAY ANYTHING TO COVER THE FACT THEY ARE THIEVES!

Its fun, but it requires your device being of a higher quality phone and such. So that's why there's so many crashes. Though I wonder if Morning Mimosa is full of bots that makes it impossible to win consistently.
