Can't even get logged in properly. Must use different user name than their website, which is ridiculous but whatever, and then get error messages every time I try to log on. Trash.
used to be able to chat with a representative in the app. the loss of that feature makes this app significantly less useful.
The app definitely has potential, but it definitely has issues. In addition to other problems mentioned in the review, adding flights to my calendar also has problems. It works at first, but then everything added to my calendar disappears. It's some sort of syncing error, but with all the problems there's almost no point in using the app
Latest update has rendered this app unusable. Before, I could log in with my personal email address, now it requires a company or work email.
Pathetic app no on call support or your chat bot is frustrating you should include call an agent option
Doesn't update. Every time I book or change a trip the only way to get it to reflect in the app is to uninstall and reinstall. Next to useless the way it currently is. Absolutely awful. [Updated to respond to app owners reply]. The support team won't be able to do anything. This is an issue with how the app has been built so unless you can get a software developer who is empowered to make design changes, there's not much point in taking this conversation any further.
Fantastic App. It organises my trips by date and i can go in for details of each trip which includes my air hotel and car bookings. This is automatically synced with the online booking and i don't need to do anything manually. I can also chat with a consultant on the app if i have any issue which works seamlessly.
Waste of time.....doesn't do anything. Just takes up icon space on your phone's screen.. Doesn't show a trip booked by Amex itself using official email alias. Cannot add a trip manually by entering an Amex issued Booking Reference! It is stuff like this that gives technology a bad name. If there was a negative eating, this app would deserve it hands down
A miserable cosmetic update. Where is my airport and terminal for departure and arrival information like in the old version. Thanks for getting me confused on my last trip to Tokyo where there are two airports. Now I have to use another app to get my information. Heaven's sake, Give us the old version back!!
I downloaded the app and I can't even get pass the registration page. After entering all required details, clicking on 'Continue' does nothing. App is not responsive at all. Can't use it and I uninstalled it.
Pointless Completely and utterly not worth using. Why would you have a separate account for mobile and non-mobile, when the whole point of having mobile access is to make sure you can access your account from anywhere.
Cannot login despite credentials working fine in browser. Rather pointless in summary. Edited to add: creating a separate account doesn't let me see what's on the existing account. Again, a pointless app.
Worst experience compared to other apps everytime! App AND website are slow, limited in function, and not intuitive! Financial websites and even fastfood apps are better than Amex!! Only giving it a single star since it's not possible to give it a negative star!
Cannot reset my password on my android phone, telling me I am using an incorrect browser, I am using Chrome. This is listed as one of the supported browsers????
Worst experience with Amex. Mispelled name on the flight tickets, although the name was sent to them via email. Better use other travel agent. Prices are cheapper somewhere else. The app is hopeless.
This app won't sync with my Amex GBT account. After changing my password twice through chrome, I uninstalled the app. Too bad. I was looking to use this for business travel.
Unexpected error trying to log in, unexpected error trying to reset password. Why do I even need to create a mobile account with a username when we have SSO for the website, and why do I need a separate phone app to get chat support when I am logged into the website on a laptop? Only here because the support phone number on the website is wrong.
doesn't work . trips doesn't come automatically.cant chat with a travel manager.even to report a problem we need to fill a form which always says error loading form same when trying to submit a report problem section. always an error happen try later. very disappointed . uninstalling
Doesn't recognize my PNR ever UPDATE: from a comment below I realized that you have to uninstall and reinstall each time for the app to refresh with new trips added. Update: is see your comment below that this doesn't sound right to you. Sorry I don't believe your response. You have received the same comment 9 months ago on July 15 2019 from another disappointed user.
App simply freezes when trying to even create an account. Imagine using it for travel. Don't have time to struggle with it.
Well, creating account and login was breeze. It shows up itineraries as expected. Have not tries in detail but first impression looks good.
Installation works. For everything else you need patience and loads of time. Could not complete registration and profile activation in more than hour. Email to do that came in within a day. The worst first login experience!
The app has continued to evolve. I'm now able to book in the app. Nice to have all my trip information in one place vs searching multiple apps
Whatever Amex did to this app it is absolutely worthless now. It no longer updates flights within your itinerary with flight delays and reschedules. How can you remove this basic functionality?
I can't see my ticket details, it's not showing automatically and i can't add manually also., It's always showing the same error, "please enter the valid PNR" Please fix it, and make it user friendly
Sad that they require a minimum 8 character user id that can't be an email address. None of the other services I use require that, so now I have to create a special user ID just for this app?
Slow, took long time to update my flight, cannot add other details to my trip, keep me logout. Now, it keeps stopping!!!
Won't even let me login with my credentials. I can use the same and login to the web url but the app keeps giving me a invalid credential error.
Frustrating. Need to create a new account - and then can't log in to it; when I request a password reset I get the message "unexpected error" (as opposed to the expected type presumably...) Absolutely useless. Amex should be ashamed to put out an app this buggy.
