I used to love this app for the convenience but now that convenience is gone. I refreshed my phone one day and lost the ability to use fingerprint login which was honestly the best feature this app has. I tried everything I could think of to get it back but was told that it no longer works with Android phones only Apple's iPhone. This limitation was the company's worst idea because of the inconvenience to more than 50% of their users. They need to change it back.
What happened with this app? This thing is a headache to log into, and forget about fingerprint logins. Where is this feature located? And why can't I use mobile deposit anymore? I'm taking pictures as clear as day, and the app says my pictures are blurry. The pictures I'm taking are clearer than the check I'm taking a photo of. This is nonsense. This app is trash.
They need to update this app. Doesn't remember your user name have to type it in every time I login. I finally switched to the finger print login but I still have to answer security questions everytime. It didn't seem to remember my device. Once in, the interface seems very old and not at all intuitive
Fingerprint used to work, but after reformatting my phone and reinstalling the app, I can no longer register my phone for fingerprint access. Same phone as before. Edit: fingerprint is the one of the only reasons one would use the app instead of the website, because the app is just a wrapper for the normal website.
I've only used the app to check my balance and transfer money between accounts so far. It does its job but there are inconveniences. The app opens up to my information and wants me to change it every time. I don't change it and hit the back button, but it shouldn't open to that. It should open up to the main menu. It's kind of annoying, but overall it is easy to use and does it's job.
I'm using this app not by choice. Coming from another CU bank this app is a huge downgrade from what I had. "Remember me option" doesn't work. Facial rec or fingerprint not available in this day an age? Only iOS? Menus could be simplified. No quick option to cancel or pause card. Not being able to use special characters for password is just wrong. Ads.....hate them
Fingerprint no longer works, which is the only reason I used this app as apposed to the website. This is ridiculous, it's not even telling me I can't use biometrics anymore I learned that from reading other reviews! It just has a white screen that shows me nothing. I didn't access my account for 4 days because I thought it was just a website issue (because with AMHFCU that happens a LOT) and then I just so happened to read the reviews while I was reinstalling the app to see if that would work.
Works, but just barely. Dosent remember your username even though there is a useless tick box indicating it does. And constant runtime errors and overall feels slower than just using the website. Could use a new UI, UX etc refresh, as it feels like this app is from the 90s. But works nonetheless
My complaints are the fact that it doesn't save your username and I cannot find the eDeposit option on it to save my life! It appears as an old app... and very outdated. Just not appealing at all. In my opinion-- it's absolutely useless.
App works maybe 1 out of 3 times you try to log on. Like others, I've tried rebooting my phone. Uninstalling and installing the app. Seems from what I've read and experienced, the bank itself isn't any better
Why? When everyone is using biometrics, why would you disallow this feature? This is extremely inconvenient!!!!!! I could not log into my account for a few days, before everytime I used my fingerprint the screen went white. I uninstalled/reinstalled the app and now have to enter all my information everytime I use the app. We didn't even get any sort of notice about the change.
Flawed login! I used to love this app on my 1st S10+. I had to get a replacement phone and now fingerprint does not work and app does not remember login credentials. What is the point of using an app if I have to enter all my credentials manually! So frustrating my fingerprint does not work on Samsung S10+.
When will the fingerprint sign in option return? All of my other FI that I bank with has this feature and its very convenient. YOU guys use to have this feature. It has been many months since we lost this feature. I didnt complain because I thought it would return soon however it has not.. Can you tell me when will this feature return?
Every time I sign in to the app, my information must be reviewed and what I fix never saves. It also doesn't display personalized login images any longer. The app feels very outdated and primitive.
It's been over a year and the pandemic isn't going anywhere; why haven't you updated your mobile app and fixed the fingerprint reader? Trumark, PSECU and others still keep improving their apps and the fingerprint readers work. You claim to be the best CU in the region, yet your mobile app is the absolute worst; truly abysmal and the developers appear to have abandoned it! Why is that??! It's obvious that you don't care that you're inconveniencing your customers; this is why the bulk of my funds are kept at another financial institution. I'm seriously considering closing this account altogether!
Had to delete app and redo and now the finger print login won't work!! Not easy to reset finger print. Talked with the bank and they were no help. Other apps are by far easier to reset than this! This app needs help! Please!
Finger print reader stopped working and is no longer an option. That section in the app loads to a blank screen. This is the same thing everyone else is upset about. Get with it AHFCU! I might taking my business elsewhere. That is how important convenience and mobile banking is in today's life.
I used to love this app, but, like others are saying in their reviews, the fingerprint won't work. It won't even let me re-register my phone to see if that helps. It is otherwise a good app, but I really liked the fingerprint feature. ☹️
Fingerprint unlock was great untill it is now removed it for Android. I have the latest version with latest OS and security updates. You need to bring back the ability to open the app with fingerprint.
So I came from another CCU, and have to say the AMH mobile app is a fairly terrible experience. 1. They use security questions. Any organization that takes security seriously would know that is a terrible and outdated practice. 2. The app continues to ask me to verify the same info over and over upon each visit. 3. Only biometric account unlock with iOS? That's embarrassing. 4. Ads for the credit union all over the app, terrible. This makes me want to move my money out, which is a shame.
The app used to be awesome to use with android. After an update I can no longer sign into my account. The FP just shows a white screen. I wonder how long their technical team will let this go on. Its been over a month with no access or any correspondence from the bank regarding this incident!! Damn shame.
After a few clicks of searching the app, it stops working, please update to fix, and maybe even adding a search feature would be helpful, I can't find where I set up direct deposit.
My personalized image is no longer shown when I login using my user ID. The app does no save my id when I sign in. Why are there so many problems with this app. They should have left the features the way they were. Is there a new tech team doing away with the old tech teams tools. Damn shame if they are doing that.
Mediocre at best. First it gives you the option to save your user name. It never saves! You don't have a 2 step log in😒 there's no notifications. I would say that it is a year behind many other credit unions and banks. I gave it 3 stars because I personally enjoy the account transfer to transfer and I've been a member for like 15 years, prior to even being American heritage. I just think the app could be way more updated
