This app has become completely unuseable after the last update. It used to work perfectly fine. Now I'm unable to see my shifts beyond the next few days. And it keeps asking me to log in every time I open the app, as others have noted. Total trash software.
Every time I open this app, to use classic mode, I have to clear cache otherwise my session will expire. Can cache be cleared automatically each time I open the app?
I love the idea of this app: a native app that is mobile friendly and integrates the schedule with built-in connection to doximity messaging. However, the schedule almost always fails to load unless I do a bunch of clicking around. It's just easier to log in to the website or use the classic view, which completely defeats the purpose. I wish they could just come up with a way for it to actually sync and load the schedule. Messaging does seem to work though, which is great.
The new update has made this app so much worse. Cannot see individual provider schedules for the month easily (including my own) like before. The "old" web interface has so much better functionality. The app is supposed to harness the convenience of smartphones and improve usability but this update has achieved the exact opposite. Very disappointing.
Does not update with website. Every single month, I have to use the report a problem feature because the schedule is not loading in the app, even though amion online has had the new schedule for several days. This is not functional or convenient, and needs to be fixed. *update Oct 1, 2021: From bad to worse. App requires a sign on that is somehow different than the one I use for the web based version. Deleting and I will bump along with the web version, as bad as it is.
App is full of glitches and essentially useless. Often times the schedule fails to load or updates made on the website do not transfer on to the app. Hate that ending shifts from a previous day show up at the top of the schedule - I don't care what time people went home the previous night, I just want to see who is working today. Every time I log in to the website, I get an annoying pop up asking if I want to switch to the app version.
it's terrible. frequently have to reinstall. I often have to close and reopen the app to check my schedule. It never works the first time I open it. interface with doximity is annoying. I can't wait until my group dumps this app.
I recommend using web browser to view residency schedules rather than using this app. Our program posted a new schedule and using the app is went to a blank page... Tried again and it opened up the doximity app instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. If you open the link with a web browser it's all there. Really seems the developers didn't take the time to user test this before sending it out
Calendar dates at bottom of screen cover up last provider's name and phone numbers (on Android phone). Have to switch to classic view to see all providers on shift. Otherwise app works well, generally fast to load, but will not load if on a phone call at same time (unlike other apps).
Strange!! Similar to other reviewers, app was working well until recently. Not sure what happened but half of my shifts for the month have disappeared without explanation or correction. Luckily I have access to the desktop amion website where I can view my shifts for the rest of the month. Please FIX whatever bug has corrupted the app.
UPDATE: Doesn't work at all anymore for me, unfortunately. I am unable to log in through the app. I put in my username and password and select login and as simply returns me to the home screen, where it says register or login, every time. One feature not working and other notable tools not available on the app. Unable to access my personal schedule / calendar. No feature to access block and on-call schedule views or to trade on-call days or request vacation.
I have an android phone if i hit a back button by mistake it logs me off and then doesn't let me log back in, i have to re-register every time very annoying! I would not normally put up with an app with those type of disfunctions but since i need it for work i have no choice Very frustrating!
As all the recent reviews have stated, the latest update has rendered this app completely useless. It is so difficult to follow the schedule. When I log in, it pulls up ALL the faculty members that are covering the hospital/on call that day, not just my schedule, and I have to scroll down and search for a faint green dot next to my name, which I miss 9/10 times. I have emailed customer support, and they stated there is nothing that can be done about this. What a shame.
The Support was able to log me in. The app had a technical issue with the 2 factor verification which does not pop up and send a code to me. The Support disabled the verification so I can log in. I cannot understand why the Amion app/Doximity cannot solve this issue for so long, when 2 factor verification is widely implemented and functioning well in apps nowadays.
Amion forces this app down your throat when you attempt to access the website via a mobile device but the experience is absolute garbage compared to the actual website. Search feature, no way! Easily view multiple departments at the same time from the Hospital's main page, no way! Stop prompting me to download this garbage when I access the site from my phone and wasting my time.
After the redesign the app is completely broken. I can't see my schedule anymore and if I switch to classic view it constantly says my session expired. The app was working much better before the redesign.
The faults and glitches within this aps software are both innumerable and unable to be worked around. It's unfortunate that my hospital system uses this for scheduling. Edit: this app is so infuriating that I came back to give it a 1 star review and realized that my past self had already done that. I lament the fact that I have this app downloaded on my phone.
Was working fine until a few months ago, when I started having problems viewing my schedule when the date was changed. They told me my problems were due to an older version of Android. Now I have a new phone and the same issues !!!!!!!!!!
I've seen glaciers that have run faster
I was using this app normally until recently I was asked to sign in again. For some reason, it is not allowing me to sign in and keeps taking me back to the register page. I even tried changing my password on Doximetry, and still no luck. This app has essentially become useless. I'm using an Android phone.
I can't see my own schedule anymore. This just changed and it's definitely a problem. I used to be able to select my name and access my personal schedule. Now I am only able to select a group or block and get a dot with no further information about my day to day schedule. Please fix or go back this is a downgrade.
The update now makes the view of schedules much more complicated. My team does 24 hour shifts and so now on the calendar date you also see everyone that was on until shift change (ie 0700) instead of just that shift. The entire view is now less athletically pleasing
Worked before, new update had rendered this useless. Keeps saying session expired or can't log in in classic view. The other view doesn't update changes and isn't clear. It's plain terrible now.
Initially there were bugs and getting set up was a bit difficult. It would be nice to have a feature to silence the app or an "away message"
Are you planning to fix the issues with the new update? Specifically, we can no longer call up a colleague's schedule by tapping on their name. Nor can we search for an individual by name. This is an essential function for us. Why was it removed? It's now no more useful than a printed schedule.
Thanks for fixing the "no internet access" glitch. Now it's just the odd "won't load calendar unless I click around a lot" glitch.
Sufficient and efficient for showing the daily schedule and weekly individual schedule. I wish there was a way for changes or requests to be made within the app.
Really not an app, more of a dedicated browser for the website. Frequently logs you out (sometimes even just from switching to another app and back is enough to time it out). To demonstrate how truly not an actual app this is, there is a link within the app to download the app, identical to the site's web page. The web page itself is functional, the app is a joke.
