Amity
Version 2.x of the Amity app includes:
- The ability to find Lodges around the world, contact the Secretary, and (if you are a verified member) get directions to the Lodge for your visit. Over 35,000 Lodges, in over 250 Grand Lodges around the world, are in Amity.
- The ability to check whether your Grand Lodge recognizes another Grand Lodge (whether they are "in amity" with each other). No more flipping through a book when your visitor arrives... now the the Tiler--or any Mason!--can get an answer in real time.
- The ability to check in to your Lodge for a meeting. This reduces the Secretary's workload: creating an attendance roster for the minutes is now as easy as clicking a button. As of version 2.5, you can also see your check in history.
- The ability to read a recent issue of MSA's Short Talk Bulletin. As of version 2.8, a rotating issue of the Bulletin, one of the most widely distributed Masonic publications in the world, is available to you at no cost.

Good tool for keeping up to date with your area. However, what brings it down is the fact that updating my own profile is nigh impossible with this version. Adding degrees seems simple enough, but the text input for what lodge conferred it is the same color as the background so I cannot read what I type and the "Select Your Degree" bit is completely empty. Otherwise, decently put together app
I am a huge fan of this app and what it is attempting to accomplish. It is a bit of a race to see if Amity or OLP is going to take the lead in the inclusion of the appendant bodies. The back button often fails to do anything. If searching and the search is taking 30+ seconds I rethink my need for the information and try to back out, but nothing happens when I hit back. I wish there was a way to send out invitations to Brothers to join.
Having issues downloading and installing the app on my new phone. For some reason the app did not transfer over from my old Android phone to my new one and now that I try to download it I get notified it requires access to location and a couple other things which I accept, but nothing happens. Thanks for the quick response brethren!
Great concept. This really needs to improve as it looks like this will be the only centralized repository soon. Extremely buggy. Finger slipped (meant to be 3)... Thanks for the update and reaching out offline. I'm replying back with screenshots and log info.
App is great. It is a great help to find a lodge when in another city. I think adding filter for meetings by date would be great. I don't need to use amity when in my city to visit another lodge. And when visiting one out of station I have to search through several, several results to find if any meet in the time or day that works for me.
I couldn't get it to work for me. I had hoped it would help with visiting Lodges and contacting the Brethren I was never able to register. I'd sent emails through the app concerning this. I don't think I ever got past setting a password. I was able to enter my info including GLoTx member number.
Installed this months ago and it worked fine. Now that I'm traveling and need it, it won't open. Uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing. Now that we don't have Lodge cards guess I won't be visiting. Very disappointing.
I love this app, all works in progress will have bugs, but these guys address them quickly. I love being able to see Lodge photos, checking in to events, and seeing upcoming meetings.
This is app is only good when using a smart phone. It is lousy when it comes to using it on a laptop. It should be able to be used with both devices. It is also to hard for Lodge members to update their profiles. There should be and could be a much easier way to do that.
I downloaded the app, looks ok - But it will not let me open it Always responds: " incorrect username or password" I have double checked, (many times), re-entered, still same response

Installed the app and became verified. Raised questions on functionality and implementation at the local lodge level. Answers are incomplete and I do not see the benefit to the local lodge. Deleting from my cellphone with negative recommendation to my GL. ==SM Berry, PDDGM
I prefer the old way of searching for lodges and jurisdictions. This new design doesn't seem to work very well.
I cant even figure out how to register. It wont let me get pass language in the input information screen. Everytime i hit the arrow for next it brings me to language prompt.
Difficult to use.
It would not work for me. When prompted for my lodge Valley-Daylight it could not find it. When i put in my grand lodge it said 389 lodges but did not show past 52
When attempting to register, it did not display or allow me to enter the fields for my mother lodge or rank/appointment, so I could not register
Great app. I love the access to the Short Talk Bulletins by the Masonic Service Association!
Having trouble downloading update so i uninstalled old version but cannot download new version..
Doesn't send my email verification code. I put in my correct email twice, still no code.
Mother lodge list stops abruptly. So I cant register. Cant install.
As per all apps there will be bugs, the developers are working clearly very hard to ensure the best for this app

I'm a member of a new Grand Lodge and Subordinate body, and I'm having a had time getting my previous Grand Lodge and Subordinate lodge off my account. I've reached out by email a few times and nothing has changed on my account nor any actual response.
These guys are singlehandedly dragging Freemasonry out of the past and into the future. A long overdue development
Needs to be updated to new version of the Android OS.
Nice work Dev Team! App looks promising for use by our lodge. Looking forward to when version 3.4 is released for a few big fixes. Edit 4.12.2022 Bugs squashed and things seems to be working well!
