Very useful if you have a MP setup at home. Not too complicated to configure and works as expected. The interface is pretty ugly and not always to easy/obvious to use (especially the remote control section). Still overall satisfied with this tool =)

Mediaportal's best sidekick friend. I told myself I'd be willing to pay if everything worked the way it should (after doing some basic troubleshooting of course) -- now I have to pony up for the ad-free Pro version ;\ If you're having issues, head over to Mediaportal's forums.

It's over 2 years old and still looks like crap on a tablet or anything other than a small screen phone It works OK but the guide and the remote need a good working over to bring it to today's standards I'd be willing to shell out $3.99 for an upgrade with a better guide but am glad I didn't shell out the 4 bucks for this version since it looks like is an abandoned app and the paid version offers nothing the free version doesn't have

Some connectivity/responsiveness issues, and the ui could be tidied. Other than that a functional app with many useful features such as displaying menus on your phone screen. Would be great if the guide could be displayed on the phone too.

On my Motorola G2 sometimes the app is reported as non-responsive but what is more annoying is that it often crashes. It crashes when you try to use the remote before a connection has been established, but also being careful about non using it in that phase, I still experienced frequent crashes.

This program mostly works, but there are a few issues I have with it. My smartphone is powerful and when on LAN I should have the option for direct play. Transcoding is an unnecessary waste of system resources, and always reduces the quality of the file. Plex and BS Player both play streaming direct content well, and you should seriously consider it for aMPdroid in the future. I can download the files but an option to steam them without using more than temporary space is preferred.

It does look excellent. Bit of work to get setup. I find access to buttons in "remote" difficult (not being tactile) and feel there could be more if a context based view of "now playing". Similarly other features like WOL are only available through a menu... But surely "on known network, not connected, trying to access... Send WOL"

The ease of connection could be easier. And I want to sort by score like moving pictures. Also the scroll bar jumps off the screen as soon as I scroll a little. I mainly use it to stream from MP to my phone. Works alright for that aspect. Motorola RAZR maxx

Everything seems to work very well, if only it allowed setting server IP instead of having to setup my hosts file just to watch TV on my phone, people without rooted devices will have trouble with that.

Horribly confusing interface... Lots of forum and manual reading just to get started with the basics. App is trying to do way too much at once. Should separate the remote and streaming functions into different apps, for those of us who want JUST the remote portion.

Everything it does works really well but I wish it supported the Moving Pictures plugin. I use that for all my movies. Thanks guys.

Horribly confusing setup. Doesn't connect either. All troubleshooting indicates every thing is fine. Forums are useless.

More than adequate, but not perfect. Still gave perfect score as the imperfections are personal preference, and the software has been improved to the point that these are very minimal.

This app is great. Allows me to stream live TV to my tablet. Remote control is lacking, but this app is otherwise great.

This is great. I use it as a remote into different MP clients. Thx. Connecting and playing tv from mpextended can be a bit confusing but worth the effort.

Really good app but a little bit temperamental on my phone. Well worth using though.

The interlace needs updating and maybe a tablet version that looks similar to EVE would be nice. It can be a bit of work to set up but there's plenty of help if you need it . This is a very functional app that just needs a touch of class to make it an outstanding app.. Great work

Just wish the paid app added more plugin support or other features than just the removal of ads. It's a brilliant application regardless of that though.

But one thing is missing, to show in series/movies which one is watched, and which one is not. Sorting would also be nice :)

I love the remote control and library capabilities, although the interface to initiate streaming is a bit clunky. I had great difficulty getting my mobile devices to connect to the server.

Stream your favourite movies to your hotel room! And a universal remote very nice. I think I have to buy the Pro version to remove the adds.

This has been brilliant. When the AFL or cricket has been on at night and the kids have been unsettled I've managed to keep up with the game using my phone and wifi away from the TV. So cool!

If it wasn't for the constant crashes and no updates, it would be great app

This app really completes the mediacentre setup. Have got a Logitech harmony one remote that controls everything in my room but the functionality of this app is second to non. Also bug fixes come quickly. Keep up the great work.

This app is great for accessing and controlling mediaportal from your phone. A media portal client for those dual and quad core Android boxes would also be welcome.

Hi guys good app , I thought this was the anwser to orb , it would stream movies from my computer and everthing I asked , excempt for the one thing that would have made it 5 star , after 2 days of instaling uninstaling web searching ,fourum hoping all I could get out of my tv card was the preview worked great in config but stream nothing at all
