The Bible is divided into two major sections known as the Testaments: the Old and the New Testaments, each of which is divided into chapters:
The Old Testament is composed of the Pentateuch, the Historical books, the Poetic writings and the Prophets:
The Pentateuch includes Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.
The Historical books include Joshua, Judges, Ruth, First Samuel, Second Samuel, First Kings, Second Kings, First Chronicles, Second Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther.
The Poetic and Wisdom writings include Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon.
The Major Prophets include Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel.

Nice to have this available. But I can not return to the home page, or exit the app, have to use the option on my phone when closing all recent aps, that's not cool. And I can't save my favorite verse / book, even if I click on the bookmark tab, it indicates that it's saved, but when I check,... Nothing there. Please fix this.
Amplified with Jesus words in red letters is an amazing piece of work representing an amazing team work. It is concise, detailed, adequate & sufficient one app like many especially with the added dictionary as favours. More grace, anointing and kudos. Do keep the good work and the fire burning. Why congest my phone, tab, notebook or laptop with many versions when one app got it all? Keep updating to keep it best of all times and seasons (dispensation)
What I don't like about it is after a chapter have to go back and select new chapter instead of continuous reading. But maybe that's just me being grouchy because we live in a imperfect world. I like the amplified version and I should be greatful and thankful I can study the Word without hiding and in fear. God Bless us all
PROS- Finally an amplified bible that's OFFLINE!...... Haven't found another app to do that. You can add notes, change to night/day mode increase front size, Copy and/ or Share verses, share by Facebook too, highlight/bookmark texts, add to favorites. Good explanation within text and other bible references at the ends of verses. CONS- >>>The reading of the texts by the app is awful...robot voice and no where does it give you the option to change speed....etc as per the description states. I'll stick to bible gateway app for that talking feature. 5 stars to fix that and the option to get rid of ads! I see no way to get rid of ads so I contacted the dev. Hopefully they respond.<<<
Having been baptised 6 years ago and still learning, I was overwhelmed with the different bible versions around. The Amplified version is quicker to access and easier to understand. And also gives a good description of the 'whys and what for's'.
It is great to have thia kind of bible. It helps you to be able to take out key notes and also taking notes. It makes the bible much easier to understand as it simplify the meanings of the hard worda to understand(it becomes a dictionary where necessary). I love it.
Efficient app. The 'notes' feature is great. However, I suggest there should be an icon for Notes much like the one for Bookmarks because a person may forget the particular scripture notes were made on. so a place to see all your notes will be awesome
could have been a great application but plagued with many errors. Referenced passages do not correspond. verses explanations don't correspond. totally misplaced. you still have a lot of work to do.
Its easy to use and very informative . In light of additional explanations , the meaning of many words and statements are clarified for the reader . Absolutely Loved it :) Thanks
I have used the Amplified. Bible for many years, with overall blessing and satisfaction. Find it difficult to go back to Authorized version. Keep it going!
Just downloaded it and so far I've enjoyed what I have experienced and nothing is worrying at all. The amplification is so GOOD in the sense that it explains the unknown issues of faith. Surely I love it though some complain about adds,I understand the purpose of them because without them there would be no sponsor.Thanx.
I love this Bible.. It makes the meditation of the word very easy.. It brings depth.. Great teachers of the Bible have always recommended it... I don't end a Bible study without the amplified Bible.. I have found to be very usiful in my daily life with some daily verses and I can read nicely but the most important thing is the use of voice. I havent seen any app than this one with few ads which makes my life easier to read and saves my time because this app like free from ads

I will recommend this to my friends and family.is indeed a good one, I've searching for an Amplified Bible offline like this for a long time all to no avail, but thank God i have this now. Wish it would continue to read straight through instead of stopping at each chapter. The app also closes a lot and I have to restart it.
This application is powerful. I particularly like the audio reading features. They really helpful when you even don't understand pronunciation.Great app indeed.
It is an excellent Bible that was very helpful to me when I had it on my old phone. But I have been trying to install is on my new Huawei phone without success. It was successfully downloaded but refused to install. What shall I do please.
This IS nice... I just started looking it over and I picked the Psalms to begin. This Bible looks like a keeper for me. I got a new phone 3 months ago and haven't been able to replace the Bible app I had... I believe I found its teplacement, after 3 long months.
The App has an issue when you exit it from the chapters. It repetitively gives the exit messbut doesn't enable you to do so. Continously stuck between exiting and chapter listing

This Bible seems perfect, with well thought out applications. This is my first minute evaluation.I have not seen all it can do, but hearing the scriptures simplified when read is a plus.
It opens the scriptures understand more good teaching. School. But then God's always showing us more. Today he shows or highlights some thing tomorrow the same Scripture highlights some thing different. Never stop reading if you do you will stop learning from God. Amplified and Niv a must read with New King James and King James.
It's an offline Bible, which is very useful. They have comments of where certain passages came from which adds to the legitimacy of the interpretation. The one option I think would be useful is if the share on facebook widget was removed. That would make the text more compact and I would feel more comfortable reading it. But overall it's good
