Amplified Bible (Offline) – a Simple, Clear Bible
The translation used is referred to as "Amplified." This is currently my favorite version, as it lends itself towards truly understanding what the authors of the bible meant.
This app, like all the other free bible apps out there, is ad supported. The difference is, I promise never to interrupt the experience with full screen ads. So many other apps out there do, and it's really annoying (that's actually what led me to create this app). By downloading this app, you are helping an independent app developer, and a christian, to make a living.

It is very much useful with important meanings and tips in brackets. Easy to understand and helps a lot. I find it little difficult only when I want to select a chapter as it goes vertical and the width could hold only two digits. Therefore, when it comes to Psalms it become difficult after 99th... Will be of great help if it is set right
I like the simplicity of choice of words used in app. And I believe more could be done to improve app to make it more user friendly. So if you could do some updates where 1-we can copy and paste, 2- where we can have space for bookmarks and note taking, 3-D where we can scroll to next chapters, etc. Thanks
I love the amplified version, especially as English is my second language the app works great no glitches. I can even use it offline. Thank you for your time in developing this and also in sharing this free to the user. I don't mind the ads small non-intrusive at the bottom, I realize this is needed to cover your time and expenses. God bless.
Even though I understand the reason behind the ads, constantly having to deal with these ads takes away from the reason people downloaded it. I'll uninstall the app and get a hard copy so I can actually read without distractions.
I am very pleased that this works off line too. Also it enhances my understanding of the scriptures. It doesn't change the meaning of the verses but makes the best use of modern language to bring a deeper understanding. It also is easy to navigate through the books of the Bible.
The amplified bible is a great inspiration. I love the word of God. I wish this bible app was more flexible and beautiful in terms of the font styles design and aesthetics.For instance, the highlighters are too deep and I am not a fan of colour blue.
Clear and easy to read. I am able to hilight verses. I look forward to update that would allow copying of verses to paste in messages to others. It's a good application. Thank you.
I like how you can use colours to bookmark the verses you like. it's very good. you can get deeper understanding as it explains words in its simplest form where there might be ambiguity. But I want you to make it in way that you can easily search for a verse once you type excepts of the verse if you don't know the exact quotation. so that bible verses with similar quotation will be sampled out for you to choose from and please add more colours. thanks so much for such Bible App. God bless you
Hello, It's really helpful and detailed explanation is nice, but it would be better if there would be little changes like words spoken by Jesus in red letters and Change in font size and style.
I love the simplicity of the app and more especially this version makes the Bible easy to understand. My favourite part is being able to highlight specific portions of the Word. Great app I must say
This app was deleted by mistake on my device. When I downloaded it again, it didn't save my highlights which I made specifically for bible study. PLEASE include this feature to make the app more user friendly. Most bible apps already have this feature
I don't like that you can't undo highlighting. When u scroll it would be better to have the book and chapter locked to know where u reading at all times. But either than that I Love it
An indispensable and effective scriptual tool that's more user friendly than most other translations. However, by restoring the true name of the Creator and the Saviour instead of using fakery names and titles that does not equate to either would have given more credibility to this rendition.
I love the app very much. But it doesn't allow me highlight many verses for sharing at the same time, sharing one verse at a time is quiet stressful and time consuming. Thank you.
seems to be a bug- can't undo after highlighting. Having a search functionality would be good as well.
It is a beautiful appreciate except that when you highlight verses, you can't undo or change the color. This should have been allowed to make the app the best
I like the fact that I don't have to be online to read the Bible. Its there in a click and easy to navigate through. I'm good with computers and I like it but a beginner could I use it also

Very simple to read and understand. Easy navigation to books, chapters and verses of scripture.
The is far better than all the Bible I've downloaded, I'm not sure it allows customizing coz Ive not tired it, but it's the best Bible app I've downloaded so far, it's straight forward and easy to understand, keep it up 👍🏽
It's easy to locate the chapters and the verses. I'd love it more if the screen wouldn't go off when the Bible is open.

It makes it easy to read the word anywhere, plus the amplified version helps to sink in that message.
English is my third language...so, this makes it easier for me to understand what a passage is saying without having to look up the meaning of words that I don't use or hear in every day conversation...thanks👍
Excellant Bible App. Gives meaning to words in brackets...which really helps in understanding the verse, passage and Bible better.
I love this app because it provides the Word of God in amplified or expanded form! Also, it is available offline, for me that is a big plus.
The amplified bible app is so good because it emphasis the teachings that are some how complicate in the Jkv. I absolutely love it so will you if you have thw soft or thw hard coppy of it as well.
Very easy to read. It would be helpful if the app marked the spot if one forgets where one left off. There are no footnotes as seen in other Amplified apps. I appreciate the lack of annoying ads popping up. I do understand the need for ads (as nothing is free.) Well, except God's Grace! Overall, very enjoyable!
