This app usually performs perfectly fine for my needs -- now, however, I am having serious issues depositing my checks. It takes over a dozen tries to get it to work. I've cleared the cache, restarted my phone, and tried taking pictures under different lighting and background conditions. There's no rhyme or reason to what makes the deposit photos to go through. It's super frustrating.

Check deposits are always a problem. Most of the app works, is clear, and reliable. Focusing correctly used to be the issue. Most images were rejected. After a rewrite, (you touch the check image instead of a camera button), it's difficult to even take a picture. It's not uncommon to try 20 to 30 times then give up. I don't know how to work around this (and Amplfy can't help.)

This app totally needs to be fixed! I've experienced what everyone else has and it's really disappointing! I've uninstalled and reinstalled it half a dozen times if not more, called customer service even, but still the same result, won't work. CS told me it's being worked on but it's been an unreasonable amount of time I think. Considering switching to another credit union, so frustrating!

I have been using this app for a long time without any issues at all. None. At all. Now it no longer works. It will hardly ever load, it just sits and spins saying loading. On the occasion it actually logs me into my account, I am unable to access anything. It freezes and just kicks me back out to the sign on screen. I have tried the usual uninstall and install process, but it does not improve. I use this app often and need it to function while on the go. Please fix this as soon as possible!

As noted by others, keyboard on app doesn't allow you to enter dollar amounts correctly. I even tried using the S Pen on my Note and it doesn't work either. You can't see the dollar amount. My daughter asked me transfer $10 to her account for lunch and she almost got $100! Also, when depositing checks, you sometimes have to press submit several times before it transfers. Update: all seems to be working now. Thanks for the update.

My experience was decent up until recently. The app's update made it to where there's no longer a fingerprint login. It's biometric(face scan) and passcode now. I logged in to see if somehow the settings were changed and there's no option to turn off biometric login. There's still a fingerprint on/off option but doesn't actually give you the choice at the login screen. It already took long enough for the damn app to load and now I have to type in my username and password on top of that. Smh.

This app works okay, but with every update something buggy happens and doesn't work properly. For example, I tried using the camera feature to deposit a check since i live an hour away from the nearest Amplify. However, it keeps saying I need to give the app permission and directs me to the app setting despite the fact I have it set with permission. App overall works fine, but it's features are not reliable. Thinking of switching banks as I don't want to drive an hour to deposit checks.

Seriously tired of this app. I though the last up they did was going to finally make it tolerable. Nope. Here are the issues that drive me nuts. 1. Member to member/funds transfers - The back button sits comfortable on top of the submit button.. know how easy it is to hit the wrong one? FRUSTRATING 2. The numeric keypad SHOULD ALWAYS BE THE ONLY KEYPAD WHEN YOU MUST ENTER NUMBERS ONLY. Kind of makes sense, now doesn't it? Luckily for amplify it won't allow me to continue. Limited characters.

Useless. As other reviewers have noted, the app (inexplicably) uses a custom keyboard to input deposit amounts and the keyboard doesn't fit on a standard touchscreen—making deposits impossible. Why the developer didn't use the default Android number input keyboard will remain one of life's great mysteries.

I like banking with amplify, but this app is Horrible. I cant ever log in, it just spins and nothing happens. And when I can actually get in the app, depositing a check is nearly impossible. it keeps crashing. please please please fix this app. I need to be able to access my accounts at any time. this is really frustrating.

I absolutely HATE the latest update. it was ok before, though like others I sometimes had login issues too. But now it's almost useless. before, when I reviewed my transaction list, I could see the company names. now all I see is "Point of Sale" on EVERY line. WTH? Now I cant see the companies' names unless I click on each and every line individually. why would you guys do that?? EXTREMELY disappointing. the text alerts are also different and less useful. hope it's fixed asap.

Had been 5☆ til they "updated". Now many times, I can't log in, it just spins. When I call Cust Support, they say nothing is wrong, but I see here others experiencing same thing. If it was just to check balance, I can do that on the website. But I can't deposit checks there, only via Mobile App. As a business owner, that is vital. Now I either have to drive 40 mins to the nearest branch or put in mail & wait 3-4 days to be deposited. NOT convenient. Seriously considering other banking options.

The app works as intended mostly, and is a nice look for your accounts. For some reason when I try to do a mobile deposit it opens the front facing camera without the option to switch it. This is on a Google Pixel 3. I called in and opened a ticket months ago and nothing has been fixed.

Horribly maintained and abysmal functionality. Balance is never up to date, takes about 30 minutes or so to see a current, accurate balance. UI is clunky and requires a total shut down to force new and up to date info. Amplify needs to get with the current times, and make a decent, modern app, not this disappointment

Was 2 star now 1 star. I have a new phone one of the best cameras out there. The photos for check deposits are horrible, they look clear when you take them but are always blurry in the app. I reported this over a month ago and it's still not fixed. It seems like they don't care about there mobile app or customer experience.

Screen goes black after logging in. I deleted the app and reinstalled it hoping that would resolve the issue but it has not. Update: the Developers responded to my concerns quickly and it appears there will be a fix customer wide shortly.

Good when it works. Most of the time it just says "loading" I never had this issue with my galaxy 7 but I am now on my Note9. But since the website update this has been almost every time... "Loading" and it never moves from that image 'til the app times out.

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Extremely disappointed with this app. Mobile deposits are a joke. I have one of the best camera phones on the market, yet zoom and focus function for checks cant get a clear picture without kicking it back?? I also can't make my auto loan payment after the update, so now I have to call it in each month. I live in Dallas and I kept this bank because of the relationship we had in Austin, but without the mobile app working as it should, this bank is useless to me.

As I wait for an update, I'll decrease my rating to a 2. I shouldn't be forced to update, when I just wanted a quick check. I would have chosen to wait until I could get a better connection, rather than waste 5 minutes. In general, the deposit check function is annoying fussy. 5 to 10 tries are normal.

Uninstalled and reinstalled but did not make any difference. Can't key in the amount to deposit. The virtual keyboard is too big to fit the screen and cannot pinch it smaller. Useless app for now

When trying to deposit a check either the front or the back image always turns out extremely blurred. It's random, sometimes it's the front and sometimes it's the back.

Login is completely broken, rendering the app unusable. This app has consistently had issues over several years. Take some lessons from the BBVA app developers. That app is amazing. listen up Amplify!

Worst app ever! It is still have not gotten better even with all the updates. Deposit check with words on it so you cant see the check real good with that in the way so in constantly giving you error that the image is no good. It sucks! C-

With latest update, once I authenticate with fingerprint, it just displays a "Loading" message but does not login. Please fix!
