This is not really a 24/7 service. Its similar to the doctor's office. You can only get services if there is a doctor online. I have been on this app several times and no doctor was online. Plus the list of services was misleading. There were only 3 selections available. Its eaiser to see if a doctor in your area has telehealth service than it is to use this app.
Thank you for being here for people who need help. I was ready to walk into a hospital and admit myself over my mental health and it not being treated. I was looking at a wait of several months to be seen and medicated but you guys saved me from that. I highly recommend anyone who can afford this app to use it I'm only on day 2 of being a patient and give a review this high.
So far it's good and helpful cause she knows what's to ask or say. It's helps me see things I'm not seeing and to kno when I'm getting triggered and how current events are affecting or coming at me like my Ex did when I was abused by him. Verbally and emotionally and he knew how to manipulate me in a bad way to use me to get what he wanted! Anyways this app and the counselor I'm talking to is helping! I dident do this for years but cause of my dr and needing help by talking to a trained person.
This app has functioned perfectly every time I've used it and is user-friendly. I have never waited long for a provider. They have all been friendly, professional and quick. My prescriptions are sent immediately to the correct place and I have always received follow-up communication after my visit. The app and service are both exactly what I want them to be.
First rate experience. Very convenient and helpful. The doctors on call are very professional, courteous, patient and helpful.
Great option instead of going into the doctor's office-especially while taking precautions during COVID-19. I can see this being helpful for those with children who have frequent appointments and are unable to take unpaid time off from work. Of course there are times when the doctor has to physically see the patient, but when it isn't necessary this is a great option! App was very easy to navigate, too!!
This app is going downhill. Tried to submit an appointment and there were no available slots until December 16, 2021. I then tried to message their "digital receptionist” in the app to confirm if that was accurate and got an error saying the message couldn't be sent. Makes the app pretty useless as I can't wait 11 months to see a doctor.
Doctor on Demand is way better! Amwell's user interface isn't good, and when I went for my appointment (which I had to make 2 weeks ahead), they had a ton of questions to fill out that I wasn't able to fill out ahead of time. When I was done, they were stuck on a "calculating your payment" page for a really long time, then said they couldn't reach my insurance! My only options were pay out-of-pocket or cancel the appointment! No retry option! I lost the appointment I waited 2 weeks for!!!
Amazing completely blown away with the straight forward simplicity and user friendly user face and almost all within the same hour I made a apotinment I spoke with the physician and had multiple prescriptions prescribed for multiple symptoms. Only down side Is my insurance wasn't on the list of accepted insurances I'm on a general health plan for low income families but still the cost of the visit was affordable being only 78 dollars I highly recommend this app to anyone is what is advertised
Appointment got rescheduled on their end, 3 times within 30 min to 10 hours before the Appointments. What an awful service for some who desperately needs help.
I registered, saw a doctor & had the prescription sent in all while waiting to be seen at my local urgent care center! I walked out before they even called my name and I haven't been back since! Excellent app and service that I've recommend to several people I know. I like how it allows you to choose from a list of currently available doctors (with a short bio for each) instead of just connecting you with whoever is next. The app functions without any errors and is easy to use.
Was definately worth using this. 1st time ever used and loved it. Their were six patients in front of us and the wait time was about an hour and a half. Not long at all. Dr was very professional and friendly!
Very easy to use and much better then other on demand apps. Was seen promptly and very easy to talk and get results.
Less than 12 hours later and I feel great. 🙃 it went so well I also had all 4 kids get seen this way and we all got strep. It was just as good as the clinic BUT better because I didn't have to drag 4 kids into covid water at the small town clinic. They listened to me better than in clinic does. They have to be good listeners to truly diagnose you and damn good they are. Will totally use then again! Dr Bihimi and Dr Mitchell R were amazing! ! DOC PEARLMAN is the kinda doc this country needs
My experience today and Dr. Jane Reid were phenomenal in all aspects! I will definitely use this app and Doctor again! It was so nice too that being sick, I didn't have to leave my house.
Super easy! I have to wait two months for a new local doctor, but my meds ran out. Got what I needed in just a few minutes.
Was good until today. I have been sick for almost a month, swollen lymph nodes, earache, sore throat, urgent care is a 4 hour wait minimum, I used this before with good results, until today. The first doctor unbeknownst to me only prescribed me alieve, which I already have, and with the severity of what I have is a joke. Second doctor was argumentive about covid vaccination and testing, how about worrying about why I'm calling in the first place! If that continues I wont us this anymore.
It's easy the 1st time takes 4ever but after that it's a btreeze. The app is easy ro use.

Initially I really liked amwell, it was simple and easy to use, and made seeing a doctor during the pandemic a lot easier. However, their mobile app makes it impossible to see receipts/charges/important records, and you can't log in to their website if you're not on a computer. I haven't used their sevices in MONTHS and yet I still receive significant charges that I have to dispute with their customer support team. If you are going to use Amwell, just make sure they are only charging you for the amount you're supposed to pay, and remove your debit card information from your account IMMEDIATELY after you stop using the service, or just don't save it at all.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD APP My initial review: Great visit with no wait! HOWEVER since this post, I'd like to add that when I had a followup question re: RX, I was unable to contact anyone. Even tho the option to message your provider is there, there was no provider or other address to message. ADDITIONALLY, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP unless you want CONSTANT pop-up ads on your device. 😠 So I've changed my 5 stars to 1 as there are other options.
It was fabulous experience. I had a low grade fever for over 9 days and urinary tract infection symptoms. I was too sick to go to didn't to walkin clinic and there is a long wait and so many flu opportunities. This was quick and easy and much cheaper than dr visit. It is 3 days later and I feel so much better! Highly recommend this service. Dr was fantastic!!
I've gotten in a queue 6-7. The app searches for about 10 minutes then says it has cancelled due to inactivity. Any doctor I manually select says they are not available. I called the support number, force stopped and reinstalled. Same issues persist. Support set me up a manual video chat appointment. After waiting 15 minutes it said I was being transferred to a new doctor then disconnected me and canceled the appointment. I called again and asked for a phone call appointment. No one has called.
Horrible system they have. Made an appointment five times cuz every time the call came (which takes 30+ minutes) I'd answer and get disconnected. I also had to pay the full amount so each booking was scared of being charged. Finally got through cuz the doctor used their "own ways" to reach me. What's sad is after hours of re-bookings, the doctor said "as a physician I recommend you go see a doctor in person." Love that I spent 80 bucks just to be told to go see the place I was trying to avoid.
