An Unexpected Tavern

Dear support, I hope you read this. The game keeps crashing when I try to get the prize for a completed quest. The in-game support returns a 404 error (this is why 3 stars rather than 4). Any ideas about how to solve this without losing my progress? The game is still playable, I just can't do daily quests

very good game however needs an update for more levels and to be able to purchase gems. when I go tonpurchase gems game freezes. fix and will be 5 stars.

This is literally some bloody dumb spinoff plus huge ripoff of the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit. Bobo Buttkins is Bilbo Baggins. (What sort of a name is Buttkins???) The wizard Gandolfi is obviously Gandalf. I mean, he even has Gandalf in his name. Gimli has been turned into Boring Larchbuckler. The elf L Ron is Elrond. And Lobeilia Sackville-Baggins is Begonia Satchel-Buttkins. Seriously??? Can you actually just stop this monstrosity.

This game was very fun and challenging. You don't have to buy anything to beat it and nowadays it doesn't get much better than that. Cute character concepts. Controls can be a little wonky at times and you can end up not being able to pick up things, but it doesn't really interfere too much with gameplay. Can be very challenging having to deal with a huge swarm of customers, but very fun nonetheless.

It does start to lag after playing for a while, but it's still so fun. Customer support is always helpful and quick to help you out as well. Edit: Update introduced ads that block your gameplay, making it so you can't help a customer or pick up gems and tokens that drop. It's a shame, I really enjoyed playing for a little while at least.

I am a big fan of time-management games..and the Hobbit. But this game is just too much. The ads are massive and the amount of business you get is unreal. Impossible to keep up. I can easily pass levels, but rarely do I get through a stage perfectly. The ads are massive and cumbersome. Game is overall cute, messy and just tolerable. Uninstalled.

Can not purchase gems!! If I could, I would rate 5. Can't 3ver play to the fullest without buying gems for better people. Tried different phones and uninstalled/reinstalled 3 times. Can't be done. Really like this game lots of fun but i guess game makers dont want money for it cuz it wont load if i click on the gems in the store! I just wanted to check the price... havent had a problem with adds though and i am connected to a very strong signal for wifi.

I can't see anything at the bottom of the screen (like on the map) because of the huge AD!! Can't go to the second level because its on the bottom of the map and the ad almost covers up the bar area so its very distracting and if i don't click perfectly i go to a Web page and have to restart the whole level. Uninstall.

In this game you drag and tap customers to serve them food and drink, all with a parody Hobbit theme. It's a free game, but the ads are only occasional, although it does try to get you to spend real money to enhance game play. ETA: if you exit the game, or sometimes even when it's just in the background, it will lose all your progress. In other words, there is no save feature. Also the amount of real-world cash required to buy all the additional servers available in the game would be $50.

Very whimsical! I don't always see as much money at the end of the day as I expect ... or I see a lot more. It doesn't matter because the money is worthless: you cannot buy anything with it. Apparently that aspect of the game was discarded. Servers are often lazy, even when level 9 (highest), making a perfect day almost impossible. I used to play several times a week; now only a few times a month since the rewards have no value and the tokens and tip money doesn't always pick up after tapping, even if I tap several times...which slows down service time and is frustrating. I love that the characters are based on Tolkien's-that was main reason I installed game& haven't uninstalled it. Definitely worth playing a little while so go ahead & download. I don't remember ads; I guess their money is made from selling green diamonds to players...except I have never seen any prices for them nor ways to purchase. The green diamonds are the real currency especially after you have leveled up the boy and the wizard. They are too difficult to accumulate which detracts from the game a lot. I am still on the first page of the levels, even after many months, because the game seems so pointless and the spinning tokens and $ coins often cover up customers as well as refuse to be picked up immediately which is annoying. Is the game abandoned by devs? Does Google know? Never had a freeze issue nor a loading problem like some say. I log in almost every day to eventually get a diamond at the end. Playing can be fun. I have played for hours without realizing so much time has passed.

The devs on this game are weak. There gems don't work. You cannot buy them. I did the earn free gems and didn't get any. I contacted the devs who asked me for screen shots. When I said forget it I'm deleting the game they came back and said they were giving me the gems. And it never happened. It's a good game but you should find one where the creaters care about the product

It's a decent game. I have no issues on my nexus 7. Am on the last level and have had no need to pay any £££ out. Fun enough, though towards the end it takes ages to earn the required happiness.

This game has showed me many valuable lessons. Like it is our job to serve the grumpy people in the game it is like that in real life. Jesus is the food that we serve the people in the game that sustains them and makes them happier and the only way we're able to serve these people is because God sent his one son to die on the cross for our sins so we were forgiven. As we accept jesus as our lord and savior we are filled with the holy spirit that makes it even possible to serve the love of Christ. 10/10

I'm a HUGE "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" fangirl, and I was so excited to download an app like this. It's not that the app is bad or anything, but it's basically copying other apps that do diner stuff like this, and it gets old really quick. And Bobo Buttkins? Are you serious? That's so rude. If Martin Freeman were to get this app, he probably wouldn't be too happy. And I bet that J.R.R Tolkien would be bursting out of his grave in anger if he knew about this disrespectful change. I'm loyal, and I find this somewhat offending.

It's worth taking an hour to yourself daily just to muck around on your phone games and this is one definitely to pass the time. Start slowly and make yourself redo a lot of levels or just buy stuff. Easy enough ;)

Haven't been playing long but so far, no glitches and ads only come up sometimes. My only issue is how long it takes to earn the gems. But overall, its a good time passer and has neat looking characters.

can't get far without paying, though it wouldn't let me pay if I wanted to as crashes. clicked on 3 links for coins, none worked - sent email but nothing. game itself is very average, you'd have to be very bored to get much out of it, there are far better games around which are truly free

It makes the game unplayable in its entirety. The stupid -39-year-old ad covers the bottom tables and makes collecting coins there impossible. If that wasn't bad enough, the servers move when you don't really want them to. Uninstalling.

I originally had this at 5 stars but the in app purchases are down until further notice so that really changed rating, spent two days and several hours finding this out.

I also have had problems with making purchases.

When i first downloaded this game, i loved it. Played for two days straight, but during play i earned diamonds but they never came. I waited for 2 days and contacted support several times 3 ways. All i got was one email saying they received my email. I tried again, by restating and re-earning....nothing! So disappointed! I hate i have to uninstall. Good game, but the worst support ever!

I have had this game for a few months now. It's fun and addictive (I'm a Tolkien geek so, I love the entire Hobbit theme), but once you get to a certain level things kind of come to a standstill. I've got over 600000 coins & nothing to do with them. I don't have enough gems for anything. Frustrating.

Same concept as Garfield diner boarded with that game. I just installed the game and after one level uninstalling don't waste your time.

Fun game and challenging @times but I am not receiving my happiness points unless they are from the token spins. Ready to stop wasting my time and uninstall. Yes I say ripped off by free game because in app features I pay for are not.

I love this gamey twist on an old favorite series. Fun to play in short spurts or to pass those long waits.

Quite challenging yet still fun. Addictive and could play for free. Hang at the final stage though, please fix. Thanks.
