Anatomy 3D - Anatronica

Textures are very poor and vascular/nervous systems resolutions are poor too. But that's ok considering that the controls are utterly bananas! Instead of rotating on a fixed, inside the model, point, it rotates on an external axis. (Correction: rotation axis shifts. I don't think it should) Zooming is too limited and pieces of the model disappear randomly while moving the model. And I'm not talking about off-screen or thru-texture zooming. And that's what I found in just 5 minutes... Is it me or the lymphatic system is missing?

This would be a great app if there was any way to make the tips menu go away so I can see something. Tried opening the muscular skeleton and it went away for a second, but then immediately covered the entire screen again. The menu is much larger than my screen and there is no way to scroll down to the close button. Please fix your glitch. I have an LG L34g, but it also does this on my ascend plus and tablet.

Updated review, things working much better. Had previously had problems moving around the skeleton, but it seems to work better now. Recommend leaving startup tips enabled, to remember to use two finger mode to scroll up dn left right. Previous problems of all bones in hand not displaying also gone. !!!UPDATE MORE, there IS a reset view button, it's on the toolbar off screen left, on my Xoom. Swipe it out and hit the X. If you've rotated the skeleton several times, it will spin around as it unwinds your changes. :-) :-)

Im a Biology major. great to have in phone for fast detail on any structure when youre not sure. Better than i seen and tryed others.

I'll definitely be buying the full version soon. I actually tried this app on my PC a while back and found it extremely useful and informative. The Android app is as good as the PC version, which is nice. Definitely the best looking anatomy app currently in the Play Store (including the 3D models and GUI). Most of the others have thes huge buttons that take up half of the screen... I bet this works excellent on a tablet.

This app is abslutely awesom for med. students,by it 1 can easily remember d origin n insertion of muscles and more.

Nice app...very useful for medical students..facing difficulty in visualising the skeleton.

Appears to be an excellent study aid A&P for nursing. I'm just going to use it for reference and fun.

Opened ok at first then help tab got stuck on screen and wouldn't go away even after exit and entering the app again

Been using this for years. My kids know more than most high schoolers.

Needs to be able to orient up & down so you can see the whole skeleton. If this this is a feature of the pay version, it is shysterism-0*.

Axis of rotation is set on the centre of the screen. I would prefer if the axis was on the object. And also abdomen muscle was not so specified. Fix it and you'll get 5 stars.

The skeleton and the muscular system are free. The app is very smooth and easy. Designed to properly use the screen, it allows to view the human body as if it was lands on Google Earth.

Some menús appears and none is working. Plus the ads box is horribly annoying.

As another reviewer suggested, more detail for muscle fibers would really make this a high quality app. Needs a bit more clarity selecting layers

I was looking for an app that would help me with A&P class. This app is nearly perfect. I wish it would highlight the sutures, landmarks, and planes.

You need accurate fingernails to navigate but this app runs very well, without ads and is great to use. Good job !

Wish you could see the fibers in the muscles but other than that its perfect. The placement of the controls make it very quick and easy to navigate and get the information you need quickly.

Wonderful graphics and it runs without problems. But it will not exploit the screen size look. That is unfortunate.

I like the skeleton but zoom becomes difficult when skeleton to extreme right or left. Please add vessels and nerves.

A very good rendering of skeleton and musculature. Very good movement around the model; plan, zoom, turn etc. Amazing for free. If the pro version takes it to the logical conclusion then I have no doubt that it is equally impressive (reviewed by someone else; sounds explicit).

Cant turn main menu off. So I can' t see anything behind it

A very very useful and helpful app and visually perfect. A newer dimension of seeing internal body parts. My professor was impress of this. Thanks for this idea of making it 3D. :)

I love this app it makes things easier to understand wuhhhh...

Can't use it on my phone. There's always advertisement on the bottom, and the instructions are never going to get away from my screen...

This beats all similar apps by a huge margin. Works fluidly.
