For the last 8 months, the app has been hit or miss on allowing me to log in on any given day. I've tried deleting the cache, updating the app, updating my phone, power cycling, uninstalling the app. Nothing. Now it's completely borked and I can't log in at all. I rely on this to be able to pay bills. I'll be changing banks. ANBTX should change their app developer.
I cannot even get the app to allow me to log in. I use the exact same credentials that I use to log in to the Web page and they do not work. Customer service is completely worthless. All she would say is '"there's not a problem with the app it works for me". Took multiple reloads to get it to work Update 12/5/2021 - Was just forced to remove the previous working app and install the new version. Second verse same as the first. App never logs in. Just sits there.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! It no longer works on any platforms. This used to be a very basic, but functional mobile banking app with few bells and whistles, but now American National Bank no longer supports this app, all it does is use up storage space. At first it seemed like a server issue, and ANBTX said you just needed to reinstall the app to fix it, but now it doesn't work at all for anyone. This app is abandoned, if you still have it, delete it, they are not going to fix it.
The app is very handy for accessing bank accounts. But it needs a few updates for how it looks and operates. For instance, give it some distinguishing features between IOS and Android. It still gets the job done, but it needs some features added and fix a few things. But it would be nice to make it an all-in-one application. For all sorts of things the bank offers, it should be able to do alot of it. Still gets the job done though.
This app worked great for me for a few years then one day just quit working. I've tried everything from uninstall, clear the history, reinstall, call the help desk and follow their instructions, etc, and it's STILL not working. It's been several months now of not being able to log in. Now I'm being told there is an updated version to replace it with, but it's the same one, and I don't see another option.
If I could give this app negative stars, I would. It never loads. It always tells me my password needs to be changed. After changing password, it still never loads. This app will probably be the reason I switch to chase.
I noticed along with Everybody else that this App. gives you a difficult time just to log in. Its extremely frustrating. Please solve this problem hopefully soon 🤞🤞 It's now May 11 and still no change. Its sooooo frustrating that I almost though the phone across the room. Do they even care or even read the complaints ? It like No one cares. Total incompetents . I'm going to change my review to 0 stars 100 % disappointed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
App is very user-friendly, fast, and has all the features I need. Only downside is - Mobile deposit works great with personal checks, but with business checks, it's non-functional.
Like with most review the app is disappointing and it is not a reflection of Anbtx. The phone app only works 5% of the time. I've deleted it,reinstalled it. It is no good.. Being with Anbtx, it took us longer to have an app and oh how happy I was.. It took us until 2020 or possible early 2021 to finally get zelle, oh! How happy I am. But this phone app is definitely disappointing. YES! you will have to go grab your laptop and check your account. Finger tip convenient. Not has of yet!
App is completely broken. It will not load past the login screen. Please fix. I don't live near any ANBTX branches or ATMs (just moved) and I really need mobile deposit for checks. I don't have time to drive 25 minutes each way everytime someone pays with me with a check. The app used to work just fine until around September or so. What happened?
It's horrible!!!! Have the app on 2 identical phones. It will not open at all on one of them and takes several minutes too open an the other! These are not old outdated phones they are new Samsungs.
I am leaving this bank after 3 weeks because they don't not have a functional app. This app does NOT work. I tried multiple networks and it continues to circle and not let me log in. I called and the customer service and they are zero help with this application issue.
Had a really tough time signing into the new update for a while, but now that it works, I like the new look and things are flowing pretty well. Im hesitant, but I may come back to move up to 5 stars if I don't have any hiccups in the next month or two.
App continues to fail. Will not load. I have uninstalled the app, it will work then fail again. There is no option for an update The information is well displayed and the app is easy to maneuver when I can get into it
I have several accounts (5!) and each is on a separate app. I have had the least problems with ANB; lest that sounds like a begrudingly-given compliment, it is not! I have been with ANB the longest of any bank I use. The app is very user friendly, and the folks at each ANB I visit are the perfect blend of professional and friendly.
This used to be a decent app. Nothing fancy but it did what I needed it to do (mainly mobile deposits). But now it won't load after ID and password are entered. What happened?? Update 10/25/21: The app did start working again but now after another update is now back to not allowing me to login. Not at all helpful.
App is horrible! Never works! I don't understand why they tried to fix something that wasn't broke in the first place! Anbtx needs to go back to the original application! ANBTX NEEDS TO GET IT RIGHT! Very frustrating!
This app doesn't work. It will not allow you access to the app. It just clocks continuously & never grants access!! Please correct this. I never had a problem with the previous app.
It used to be great, but whatever happened in this update makes it terrible. I'll log in and the load icon will just spin. I haven't been able to check anything since the update. I have to go to a branch just to look at what I have in my account
I have to log on very early in the morning in order to get my balance. I guess there is too much traffic and the system is overloaded l later. I never had this problem before the app was updated. Please improve.
Used to be a great app. Now I have to use the desktop site bc the app won't open. FIX IT! EDIT: has improved slightly. At least the app opens now.
So easy to move from one account to another. Easy to do all my banking needs: deposits, transfers, check balances, etc.
As the last reviewer stated, this app is in dire need of an update. If you have an Android, you will need to go into the app details and turn on the permission to use the camera. I couldn't take any pictures for the check deposit! After I did that, I was able to. See Trey Rich's review below.
Decent app when working correctly. Log in screen still having issues. Log in only works about 1 out of every 3 tries. Definitely a long way to go when comparing this app to larger bank apps
Won't let me log in. Loads and continues to load until it says unable to connect and then restarts the app and the process starts again. Going to the website is just easier at this point.
Need to update to a more modern touch and feel. Also need to add the ability to turn on the flash for taking pictures of checks. The shadows from my hands and the phone make the pictures difficult. ADD ABILITY TO TURN ON FLASH FOR DEPOSIT PICTURES!!! HOW HARD CAN THIS BE??? Nearly a year after my initial review and still no ability to turn on the flash for making deposits. If you do not know how to do this, I would be happy to write an enhancement story for your den team.
