ANC Explorer
Visitors to ANC are now able to use the Cemetery's free WiFi in Welcome Center and Administration Building to download the app.
Users can locate gravesites and other points of interest throughout the cemetery, view/save front-and-back pictures of a marker or monument, and receive step-by-step directions to these locations. The app also provides emergency and event notifications, self-guided tours, and the ability to share your experiences and photos on popular social media sites. Users can save favorite places in the new "My Content" feature to create their own custom walking tours.

A useful app for navigating Arlington National Cemetery. Unfortunately the map function is very glitchy: parts of it often just don't render, and switching between map and aerial view doesn't work reliably.
When the app works, it's great. But it froze or crashed so often that it was worthless most of the time. 2 other people in my group had the same issues when they tried it.
I found my parents' and sister's graves easily with this app. It's easy to use and even provides directions to graves. It shows photos of headstones, which allowed me to verify that my Mom's service was correctly noted, just as my Dad's was.
Dreadful app that is so damn slow, you have to wait like 5 hours for it to open , just like the website. It does not load anything properly. Seriously, sort it out.
What is the point of having an online map if it crashes every 10 seconds? I lost 2 hours just trying to find a tomb while 4 years ago I went around with a map and found it in 10 min!!
The mapping just dumped me off in the Atlantic Ocean or in Europe. Wasnt helpful at all. Name lookup is about the only functional thing.
On my LG V20, it found that site and area numbers quickly, but when I tried it use the mapping or directions, it got very confused and never gave me useful info.
very poor app. none of the icons worked. could not find anything I looked for. a place that is important as this should have a better app than this
Intuitive and a great search engine. Everything I need when visiting my brother-in-law and when I lay wreaths in December.
App provides good information but the search function for finding graves is not stable providing correct information only part of the time.
App can't locate a grave even when you type in the coordinates. And why is there a place for coordinates when you are trying to LOCATE?
If you are a tourist, this is a decent app. If you are a loved one trying to find or get information on a family members graveside, this app is AWFUL!

I love being able to.visit my Dad and brother whenever I want.

The app simply doesn't work. Black screen, no map. Latest version installed
Has a wealth of information that can also be found online. However, the interactive map feature just shows a black screen and never loads. The most useful feature doesn't even work.

Can't search anything or use the interactive map. Just installed it and minutes later, uninstalled it.
What's the point in having an app with the main feature of interactive map when the map doesn't work????? Pointless!
Arlington is great, this app is not. 1Excited to find a grave site in Arlington, I tried using this app. It constantly would freeze, and not navigate. While standing in the pouring rain, I was finally able to get the map up and I took a screen shot. Glad I did, because the app wanted me to walk back to the main gate and back another route that was only 1,000 from me. I finally found it. Then I ran into a guy wondering around because his app was freezing and we had to do it all over again.
