Ancient Bricks

I absolutely love this version of breakout! Different scenery and levels to get through. I also love that if you have balls left at the end of a puzzle, they carry over to the next puzzle. My only issue is you need to have a title for Each level so we can see where we're going.

I am not changing my 1 star until you dimwits do something about the level 80 in tombs you designed. Completely based on luck, no challenge or strategy i have been trying for a month now. The person who designed that level is mentally incapacitated. I hate the game i used to like now thanks to this one level.

Overall pretty good, and not a carbon copy clone as far as I've seen, but i kind of resent being made to replay the previous level on failure. I also don't like how short lived the power ups are. You need some REALLY fine aiming to make even the slightest use of ice balls

I really love this game but one thing I am having a really hard time with is when my paddle is fully lit up and ready to activate sometimes I tap and it doesn't respond. Other times I tap above the paddle to activate it and instead of activating it, it will stop the grinder in the mine. Otherwise I really love this game and can spend hours playing it.

Hi! After I updated the game to the last version, the game keeps switching between day 2 and day 3 rewards. And not everyday, it happens two times a day. Meaning that in one day it gives me the rewards of day 2 and 3 and keeps repeating everyday. Best regards!

I've had this game before under the name DocKnight313 and been playing 3 years. My phone was destroyed and re installed this game the advertisements are worse than before. I will give it a chance but it doesn't look good!

I've been playing "brick-break" type games for literally decades (on and off) and stumbled across this one via an advert. About 50 levels into the game and I'm really impressed; great range of levels, modes and power ups to keep things interesting. The ads are minimal (thank goodness!) and the level of challenge feels about right. Really looking forward to my next session with this game, which tells you all you need to know. Highly recommended!

power ups are pointless. They last for just a few seconds and trying to get them and the gold is just to hard. basically you have to get lucky that everything falls to the right place. trying to get the last few blocks is tedious and boring. i also dont like the physics on the arch paddle. would much rather have a flat paddle. or at least the option. game has a lot of potential. make it a little faster and make power ups last for a least a min and I would pay 9.99 for the game.

The physics to the paddle seem entirely random. You should hit the ball on the left side of the paddle, ball goes left, depending on how close to the edge, should determine how sharp it would go. But nope, it seems to have a 25% chance of going anywhere. I thought maybe the ball spin has an effect to this, which would have been cool but it does not. So far, to this day, the best brick breaker I've played is still on the iPod Nano 2nd Gen. Every game since can't seem to get the physics correct.

The ability to easily lose progress you have made / levels becoming "unfinished", either through in-play error or answering an on-screen prompt incorrectly, is extremely de-motivating. Would have been a five star game otherwise. I've uninstalled it as I feel that in it's current form it does nt tespect the time investment I have made. Shame. Could have been / be a great game once this glaring flaw is fixed. (No idea why this mechanic was included to be honest, it makes no sense...)

This gameis amazing. The various modes, the rpg elements, the mine, the restraint with ads... All things that make this game fun. There is only one flaw: there is almost no way to control the direction of the ball with your paddle. It is somehow calibrated too low, in the sense that, no matter what angle you hit the ball with (and in this game the paddle is curved) it always acts as if the paddle is almost flat. This means that the end of all levels is just praying to get the last block.

The ball interaction with the paddle is odd, not quite the same response (not good) as other block breaking games. There is also no powerup icon guide to tell what each power up does. Nor is there any directions on the level map what a solid check mark vs check mark outline means. Or what a circle means on the level. I know it showed help dialog once for objective to not get any powerups. Is that for all levels with a circle? Fix those things and rating would be higher. Good graphics!

Genuinely surprised, minimal ads, don't need to buy things irl to progress, super nice graphics. The controls could be better. It ought to be a function of where your finger is, not a function of the direction your finger moves. The reason is many times if I press the screen medium-like it won't correspond—game over.

I hate losing progress due to the game saving, not loading my old save, and so forcing me to start back at the very beginning. I lost all my upgrades, unlocked levels, everything. This is the third time I believe it has happened. Never take a break from the game or you will lose your game progress.

I love the game, but it has its flaw's. The ball moves to slow to begin with and the paddle is not in sync, ex: if the ball lands on an outer corner it goes straight up when it should go in an angle. The powerups and downs really need to be longer because they are pretty much useless except in the very beginning of the game. I wish y'all would change or give us the option to change these features. Thank you

Love this game, great reinvention. The only issue I have is that the power ups should be color coded better. Sometimes I get confused at which ones to collect. The fall rate for the powerups is tricky as well. Save the ball or power up lol Love this game though, would enjoy new powers and improvements. I don't do micro transactions, but I'm happy to support the devs on this one.

Sluggish, clunky, dropped almost immediately. The ball speed is a bit slow, which I don't mind. I do, however, mind the gold and powerup fall speeds being mismatched and makes the mine mode feel less about skill and more about selectively failing to save balls to catch money, as well as the paddle having some delay to it. Not exactly enough to ruin the game, but enough to feel weird and would throw off your bounced if the physics weren't overly simple. Works as a breakout game, but not well.

I would've written a review earlier, but I've been playing the game too much. For sure it's the best brick and ball game out there. The only discrepancy I have, is that "fast ball" item drop, shouldn't be classed as a negative item, as it's very handy to have sometimes, yet I decrease the time it's available by decreasing all other negative items through upgrades. Awesome game all round

Great idea of a game. It gets your attention immediately. Very intuitive very easy to understand. Perfect working geometry. Loving the upgrades! Keep it going! This has great potential. One small thing I would add is more interaction with the ball. I mean the gold pieces ricochet off the ball or when you have multiple balls make them ricochet out of each other. Keep the upgrades going! New ideas! Maybe smaller/bigger ball. Ball having mass so bricks would need more hits or less.

The single best breaker game around. The levels are all unique and some are real challenges. The mine is an infinite mode where you never need to hit that last brick. The curved paddle gives you a lot of control over the balls and the collision detection is absolutely perfect. There are few ads and they never get in your way.

This game keeps me coming back even when I should be doing housework. Luv it! Don't usually spend $ but after losing the ball at the beginning, I had 2 but coins just 2 be able to complete the level. On the hardest level now. Fall asleep sometimes playing the game. After trying this game you'll be back 4 more- just try it!

A slow, boring game. If you're having trouble sleeping, it's for you. Powerups last only a few seconds, if you want to extend their time, plan to play for many hours to gather coins (or pay to win) Monotonous levels leave me feeling I wasted some un refundable donations to another lame app. One of the most frustrating "challenges" these devs added was inverting controls. How is that challenging? It's just dumb. I wish I could get my $ back....

I swear, I love, love, love this game. It is the most wonderfully unique and enjoyable little brick busting game that I have had the extreme pleasure of playing. Look up the word fun in the dictionary, and you will find this game. I hope I never beat it. It's just too much fun playing, to ever end. Highly recommend it.

Love the game but you need to add an info section to it. Detailed description of the balls, exactly what the energy storage function does. Details on what each of those gems you collect in the mine does, red, green, blue, ect... Also make the hard levels in the tombs just a bit easier to actually beat.
