Ancient Empires Reloaded

Indeed, the game has no battle animation anymore. But be glad to the developers, this is the only Ancient Empire old game that you can find. And it's playable. And to be very honest though, it's not bad. It's good actually. Just need more adjustments to the AI in skirmishes, and this game will be good to go even without the animation.

A solid Advance Wars esque strategy game that's playable offline. My biggest gripe is that the UI feels really clunky, it's sometimes hard to tell enemy units apart from friendly, and there doesn't seem to be a way to list which units haven't moved this turn (which is a staple feature in this genre as far as I'm concerned). The gameplay itself, however, is fantastic and worth checking out for strategy fans.

This is my favorite turn-based strategy game wayback early 2000s. And I was amazed how this was ported to android and I LOVE IT! The old campaign is ported perfectly and I love the addition of new units, and the addition of abilities for every unit, making it more realistic than the original. Difficulty isn't an issue for me. More games please like this game :) Thank you so much!

I used to play this as a java game and i got very addicted to it. I beaten all the levels in the campaign and had to play skirmish and set up the battle like me against two BOT players to make it more challenging. Now I tried to search for an android game like this and I found it! This game is much more awesome and has lots of new characters and features, some changes made which makes it even more interesting. I also defeated all stages in campaign tho it took me a lot of time..Best game so far!

The diffculty is too stiff in some missions. Once you realize your first two turns don't look promising, you're just heading to the inevitable defeat. I've played the original mobile version and don't remember it being this hard. You have to know the perfect start, else you lose.

The game is good, it is almost an upgrade version of AE2 java game, New units added, but game its self is not balance, but thats not the issue, you miss the game spot!! recreating a game and remove the most important aspects of it is not pretty well made , add battle animations, like in the java game!

Nice game, a lot more challenging compared to the original Ancient Empires by Macrospace, there is a bug though when the last enemy dies with poison during the start of the enemy's turn, the game will be stuck on the enemy's turn indefinitely, please fix this, very annoying to restart just because of this reason.

Just fantastic. Improves on the original in every way, lovingly crafted, smart UI design, just brilliant. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The 2nd to the last mission in Campaign is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. Even if you destroy the enemy's towns it will spawn a random unit with STAR RANK!! Not just one but multiple units! And yours is only until level 3!! No matter how good you are with strategy it's still impossible to beat so I decided to Uninstall it.

Mostly well balanced port of the original. The rules change as you go further in (especially in the finale campaign) but once you work out what's going on you force yourself to change tactics. Good for anyone familiar with Advanced Wars and Fire Emblem type games.

Best game I have played till now. Firstly I had played it on my phone as a Java game, I liked it so much that I even searched and downloaded for my every Android device I used. Hats off to developers for packing such exciting game in such a small pack. Please keep adding new levels and so to it. I do think the levels have became tougher as compared to earlier levels. Still I will keep trying.

The Best game, multiplayer could be slow but not because of bugs, Its The way Its designed, its like how advance wars online matchs work. If 2 players or more want to play it fast it Will be fast, less than 1 hour, but if the creator of the match set it to 12 hours and play many matches at the same times it will be a larger periods between turns

i uninstalled the game its not like the one i used to play, wisp s nature has been enormously changed.. and golem is being hit by wisp?! and able to do phenomenal damage!! also the range of each characters of the game has been very much altered. especially the sorceress and wisp.. worst experience.. only good thing is new map!

the old original nostalgic game Ancient Empire 2 was good enough, but this game added few more units with various abilities for more strategic gameplay, new affinity/weakness mechanics and tons of other quality-of-life features, made this games much better than the old original Ancient Empires 1&2 that you know. If you don't like the new added units, you can even switch that off! very well done, toyknight!

I love this game so much back in the Java days 😁 so glad to have found this perfect port of the original Ancient Empires! Full single player campaign recreated, plays perfectly and the additional modes and editor are sweet. Play this if you love the original, or just want a decent strategy game experience!

please, insert other weather, like summer map (ancient empire 1), sakura, or rainy maybe.. change damage reduction description to difficulty level to reduce complain, like 50% for easy, 100% for hard for example (so people will realize if he cant complete hard, he must play easy). and why i can't purchase unit after moving my unit to castle??? that's make me cant defend my castle,, enemy attacking castle and we cant defend? thats like playing idiot game

i like it, i remenber when first time i play this game on java platform, and getting better on android so many improvement more mechanic i like it but some of these mechanic making OP char like, dragon on java version has weakness to archer but in this game it have dmg reduction instead, and the AI so damn good i must losing on purpose to know how AI act on certain map.. good job!!!

Sad to have to say this but for those who enjoyed the old ancient empires... the game has been destroyed here. Difficulty levels has gone through the roof! Not to mention other tweaks they have made without explanation. Still dont understand them. How a dragon can eliminate a golem with 1 shot from full health is beyond insane. Such a pity...

I have been played this game since cell phone, really addictive game. There might be summer edition like original on ae2. Green area, different hauses etc. Even there might be rain, swallow dried leaf, thunder. Also, the characher called archerwolf is almost same with wolf and archer, same power. It might be change. Finally it might be adopt epic war musics, if it change like this, i can give five stars!

A great port for a classic Android game. It has a steep learning curve, especially for the new units, but it's worth it.

This game is great. This is my favorite strategy game. Everything in this game is good. It's graphics, animations and many other things are all good. I played first two parts of this but it's third part you restrained me thanks for this thanks for making this game Thanks

Want to give five stars. The game is one of my favorites. I am only annoyed with the removal of download option in online maps. Kindly add the download option along with Preview, View User options. Please fix multiplayer TO rules, make it so even a player didn't play for a turn, the game keep going. Also fix notif issue for game invite and turn. I suggest increase number of max map upload since i love making new maps.

Hello, please give us the option to edit some campaign maps (in skirmish), so we can play them on our own terms. I tried doing this manually, but I couldn't give Saeth his full strength as in "ancient citadel". Thank you.
