Greek is my mother tongue. I have been speaking it since I was born. Now, I downloaded this app, because in greek schools we are taught our ancient language, and it is partly different than the new one. It lacks many basic words, that are found in texts really often. Recently I was doing an excersise about the ancient greek syntax, and I couldn't translate the sentences, cause the words weren't on the app. I understand that you cant know all of the words, but can you please update the list??
I've taken biblical Greek in college, and have used it in bible study since. I love the language. This app is helpful and easily useable. It allows you to search on the Greek word using an English keyboard. The results are pithy and relevant. Great app
A good and useful dictionary. There is no search by word forms and no paradigms, it's a pity.

I know it's "ancient Greek" but can you add some lately words for us, please? From Byzantine period maybe. I see that I have to edit my review because I can't reply to a reply... I hope that you see my edited review. I understand that you can't edit the lexicon, but can you add a new work? Lampe's one maybe?

This did not work for me. Loeb edition of Epictetus. No results for any of the words in the Enchiridion 1.1.

Best Greek Reference
The only Android app for ancient Greek that I'll be recommending unreservedly to my students. Excellent browsing, search, and bookmarking functions, and no ads or permissions. It's a pity some people have written negative reviews without even bothering to read the NAME of the app, let alone the description. This app does exactly what it says on the tin and it does it admirably.
I am unclear what this is supposed to teach. No meanings within it are understandable, vague, and unable to be used in speech due to its uncertainty. I could not even find the word fish ψάρι. Fish is a major part of Greek diet along with vegetables so its a common word.

There are a handful of Liddell-Scott editions. Please list the source material info in its entirety for academic-bibliography purposes. My review would be five stars, pending this detail.
Excellent! The syntax section could be bigger. No major gripes, though. It's a great help to me. I wish there were something comparable for Latin.
Searching isn't very good, which is bad for a dictionary app. Doesn't include Koine variants.
The application crashes and closes when restored from minimised view. Pls check it.
It's an amazing app, but I don't know what is "Od", "Eur" and others abbreviations. Could someone explain them to me?

Possibly the best Greek lexicon app on Android. My only complaint (and it isn't even a very good complaint!) is that there's no way to distinguish the glosses from the rest of the text. If they were, say, bolded, like in one or two other lexicon apps, it would be much easier to use this for quick reference. Aside from that, this is absolutely brilliant. I cannot recommend this app enough!
