The game is really great, I love playing it. The only bad thing about it is the upgrade capability, upgrade resources generate very slow and this makes it take longer to be able to pass levels. Even replaying levels you've already passed does not help with generating the upgrade resources. I have been playing for a year now, I still haven't found a new planet for my family 😢 I will probably play survival mode 3 years after this review 😭 1 Year later, I still haven't unlocked survival mode.

Really excellent. I've played this for hours. The right balance of challenge and needing lots of strategic thought, with being able to complete it without buying gems. My top tip is that you can reset the upgrade tree for free, so adapt your upgrades for each level so you have the right turrets powered up. Really enjoyed this game.

I've gotten to partway through the fifth of the 8 maps (level 5.3) with no purchases, which has been a real challenge at times. The difficulty really ramps up, in a fun yet maddening way. You have to perfect your strategy and play a near flawless game before you can progress to the next map once you're past the first few. I would definitely recommend this game!

Things don't match up!? I feel if I've already paid to upgrade everything, I should be able to use those upgrades, rather than upgrade again in game play. Especially, since the upgrades seem to really do nothing to kill off certain bots. I've literally upgraded everything and paid cash to do it, not just coins. And still can't beat certain levels. So again, if already paid for upgrade, we should be able to use said upgrades without having to upgrade again in game play. I do like the game!

WASTE TIME & MONEY. Very good in first few maps, I understand the star system and paid to get gems quicker instead of repeating playing maps like other players complained. If it is about playing till the end, I would give you 4* as it is impossible to win normally without paying anything. After unlocking all maps, I was excited to get into the survival mode, then I realised that it is such a waste of time because you designed it so hard to prevent winning. BAD ENDING so I changed to 1*

The first map area, sure, easy enough, a bit of a difficulty climb. Whatever. Second map area? Can't get anywhere. Can't accumulate a useful amount of upgrade resources in a rational amount of time. No partial rewards for crazy difficulty spike failures. It's fun at first, then it's just grinding for one little upgrade at a time. Pro - no ads. Con - hours of grinding to get past the next stage, then start the process over.

Free to play, pay to win. Good graphics, good interface, good mechanics. I got 3 stars on all levels up to a point, then couldn't beat the next level. Hard stuck. Replaying old levels for gems (the upgrade currency) is so slow as to be nonexistent. Not sure how much you will actually have to spend on upgrade gems to win the game ...

Exciting guilty pleasure! This game is fun to play throughout the day. I haven't played through all of the levels but it gets quite challenging. I love that's it's free to play. You can spend $ on gems but can also just grind previous maps to collect what you need for upgrades over time. A multiplayer mode would be great but not sure how that would work.

Good, challenging tower defense game. Easy to play, hard to get 3 stars on the later levels. Can be a grind to unlock all the upgrades, but still possible to beat the whole game fully without having to pay for the "loot boxes". Entertaining game to pass time if you are bored. No ads which is a plus!

Super Glitchy Cash Grab. I lost on a level. I selected from the prompt menu to restart rather than quit. As I am in the process of placing tiles the prompt popped up for me to restore for 400 rubies. So it was a good 10 seconds after the level had been restarted. In the end it took the 400 rubies and I got no benefit from it. I contacted customer support and was told that was my problem and they weren't going to fix it.

It's a freemium game. Free until you have to pay to advance levels. It is fun for a little while but there is no way to grind gold coins for gems to gain the necessary advancements to complete levels. I've also used the same set up on completed levels only to fail the mission. When you first beat a level you can gain a good amount of coins if you don't use them for silver mines or specials. Completed levels you may get lucky and gain max of 10, but this is rare. Even with better upgrades.

Definitely more challenging than you average turret defense. It is a nice feture that you can re distribute points spent on turrets and your base. There is good amount to pay attention to while in battle and the games is fairly fast paced. ( I never use the fast-forward button ever, that would be insane!) As a final toast to the game and the makers, I enjoy this game very much and it reminds me of playing STARCRAFT in early 2000's. 👍

It's a great game with a good animation type atlist you get to see what's attacking you,,, my 4 stars is because of the placement of towers and staff, sometime its difficult to place one because the game wants you to put them on a place that you feel is not okay. It would have been better if you can place them anywhere... otherwise the game is awesome.

I like the game but the progression is impeded by a paywall. You need to upgrade a lot to get past even just the second map and there's no other way to get more gems to upgrade faster than to pay. I understand the need for their revenue but even other f2p games have a way to progress without paying albeit slowly. This game will stall you to a crawl unless you pay.

Spent £4.99 on emeralds because I thought it was a nice enough game to get absorbed in for a few weeks, only to hit an impossible level within a few hours in which basically would mead I'd have to pay more real money for more upgrades. Not a chance. For 4.99 I'd expect to get the whole game. Emeralds are very pricey, I guess you'd need to pay about £30 or something to even stand a chance at finishing the game, prepare yourself for that kind of investment. Winning emeralds is not a real option.

They keep their word. No ads, no prompts to spend money. The option is there but it isn't constantly shoved in your face. Good game, the first tower defense game I've ever played and I really enjoy it. It has a reasonable difficulty curve and decent XP gain rate for unit upgrades. 4 stars for the gameplay, the fifth star if for keeping their word and making the app ad-free.

I really enjoyed this game at the start, great tower defense game. The problem is it gets really hard real fast and you end up having to replay levels over and over for hours trying to get coins to upgrade to be able to pass the next level. If you fail a level you get nothing, if you win you might only get 3-10coins after spending 20min on the level, which when you get to the point where upgrades are costing 50+ points each that's a lot of gameplay per upgrade, or else you have to pay money

If you design a game around pay to win with no other real option for legitimate progression without an insane grind through the same levels, I can't give you more than 2 stars, and that's being generous. It destroys a genuine gaming experience and the fun of it. Especially for this type of game. Most other aspects of the game are well done and I enjoyed playing. It's a fresh take on tower defense. Good graphics. 3 offensive towers lacks variety, should have at least 5. Lost me at pay to win.

A bit repetitive, but great fun! In the upper levels, it gets to where you have to do a lot of experimenting to figure out the best technique to win - I am more of a mindless entertainment seeker, but this game kept me occupied in my spare time for several weeks before it got to the point where I just can't afford the dedicated time to experiment (or watch YouTube walk throughs) to beat each level.

The game is a simple design. Mainly feels like a reskin of any other tower defense game. One main issue with the gameplay is the huge jump in difficulty as you progress. The game is designed to push spending money on it to get the gems for upgrading, and continuing after failing. You only get 4 fail/retries. Then the game is locked behind a timegate you need premium currency to get past. Overall, not too enjoyable. But is free. If you do try it, I can't recommend wasting money on it. Razar.

Game overall is pretty fun. visually the game looks pretty good, some of the textures could be higher quality. In-game farming can be a little slow but that adds to the challenge. Considering this game can't be that intensive, I would really like to see 90 and 120 fps mode, that would definitely attract more people to this game, giving you clearly state it, as there aren't that many high frame rate games. But overall I like it. Data doesn't seem to transfer between devices even using google play

Ridiculous! The other reviews are right. After reaching the 2nd level, it is impossible to advance without paying. I upgraded as much ad I could, but unless you keep beating new levels you CANNOT keep upgrading, regardless what the developers say in response to the reviews saying the same thing as me. If you keep playing the levels you already beat, then it will take you FOREVER to just get the next upgrade, which does not seem to help at all in beating the next levels.

I saw reviews that said level 15 seemed impossible to pass without paying and I almost agreed. I understand why its designed like that as there isn't ads and I'm thankful for that. However, I paid, I was curious to see how it panned out. I did pass level 15 before doing this. The difficulty seemed to ramp up quickly after 15 and I wouldn't be surprised if most stopped playing. Even I'm struggling with what most would say is an advantage. I like how this game is built and it works, but that pay wall is far to strong. Even for those who pay. I believe survival should be unlocked for the 5 levels of that stage that you get all 15 stars for. Level replayabilty isn't great as it always seems harder and incompletable on levels that were easily 3 starred. The Camera needs more freedom of movement as towers are hard to get to when on the edge of a screen or under an icon. I've played a lot of a TDs and I'm glad something like this feels fresh. It would be nice for more basic towers. The 4 that are used seem as similar as every other TD.
